Great customer service & communication. Fast return of the resoled boots as I needed them in a hurry, they were returned in two working days. The quality of the resole is as good as new, so very hard to fault overall.

I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable and aggressive customer service I experienced today at your Feet First kiosk in Basildon.The incident happened today (Saturday, 15th August) at around 3:40 PM, just 20 minutes ago. I was attended to by a male staff member who was extremely rude and spoke to me in a very harsh, aggressive tone.This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I expect customers to be treated with basic politeness and respect.I demand that management takes immediate action regarding this employee's conduct.

Feet First resoled a pair of Altberg walking shoes for me. The job was done surprisingly quickly and i am absolutely delighted with the result. The work is very neat and i am sure i am going to get years more wear out of these shoes. I would definitely recommend. By the way, the negative reviews relating to Feet First on Trustpilot.com are for a different company, not sure why they are still on here.

My Scarpa mountain boots' soles became detatched from the uppers during a hill walk in North Wales.They are older boots with little wear and of a quality not available today:more to the point,they fit like a glove.
Nige at Feet First on seeing photos said it was due to the original soles construction and fitting .The original soles were no longer available, so he sourced a pair of Vibram soles suitable.
As not original to the boot, they would not fit,so he put rands onto the boots/ soles to overcome this.
An excellent job,boots as good as new,4 season capability restored.
Old school courtesy and craftmanship,very helpful and prompt,and reasonable for the work involved,I recommend him,and will use him in future for any such repairs.

Absolutely appalling service - I’d be worried for the old and vulnerable patients.
I booked an appointment for my mother and needed to rearrange, but despite calling multiple times, no one answered the phone. I even left a voicemail requesting a call back and still heard nothing.

On the day of the appointment, someone finally answered. I explained the poor experience I’d had trying to get in contact, and he told me I should apologise because he had cancelled my mum’s appointment. When I asked why it was cancelled and why no one had called to rearrange, he was rude and dismissive. I asked for his name — he said NAVEED — and when I said I would be making a complaint, he replied, “Who are you going to complain to? I’m the owner.” I was absolutely shocked and disgusted.

Later, I received a call from a lady asking when I booked the appointment. I told her it was a couple of months ago. She asked for a receipt, and when I said I didn’t have it, she told me I’d need to come in and show a receipt or she couldn’t process a refund. At that point I said I didn’t even want a refund. Who on earth has time for this?

Overall, an extremely unprofessional and upsetting experience. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Very dishonest. Refused to honor their refund policy. Said I had to get a doctor to say their inserts were doing me harm. Even then they would not honor their refund policy.

I had a 15 year old pair of Scarpa hiking boots. All leather, made in Italy. Awesome. To say the least, they don't make 'em like they used to. However even after 15 years, you'd spring a leak too. The bottoms had fallen away and become 'un welted'. A few back and forth emails got the patient diagnosed and new soles sourced by Feet First who were then able to fit brand new vibram soles... and with a faster turnaround than even they expected, the shoes are back and as good as new again. Here's to another 15 years in my most fave comfy boots!!!

I cannot overstate how impressed I am with this company. I bought a second hand pair of Nepal Evo's online and the red part of the sole disintegrated on a recent day out - a known problem for these boots when stored unused for long times. The rest of the boot is like new so I got in touch with a few shops via email. Nige's reply was rapid and informative - realistic about an expensive fix but doable. I finally posted them midday on Monday and was gobsmacked to find them returned by Friday - to the Highlands of Scotland! I can't imagine that is always possible but I'm delighted.

The replacement sole is seamless and I can't wait for the snow to come back to get out in them! And all in, I don't think it too expensive for the quality of work done - especially as I worried this sole may have been discontinued. Highly recommend - thanks!

I recently contacted Nige and Emma to request they re-sole a pair of Scarpa Manta Winter boots which required immediate repair in the winter season. Nige and Emma couldn’t have been more helpful. I mailed the boots to him and 9 days later they arrived at the house fully repaired. Communication, turnaround time and quality of repair were all excellent and I won’t hesitate to use them again for boot re-soling in the future. Keep up the good work Feet First.

The prices on their website are out of date. They also charge £10 postage and packing when Royal Mail will do it for £3.69!

I sent my climbing boots in for a re sole in December 2022 and now June 2023. Not good enough.

we made an appointment for my son to visit the podiatrist. He recommend we purchase insoles to resolve the problem. We paid for the appointment are were told by the receptionist the insoles would be £32 when we returned to collect them. When we returned the podiatrist put the insoles in my sons shoes, it took a maximum of 5 mins. When I came to pay I was told the cost would be £75 as I needed to pay for the fitting. £43 for them to place them in his shoes!!! Scandalous that they would charge so much for a 5 min appointment and that they weren't upfront about their costs in advance. I will not be returning

Feet First resoled and repaired my Scarpa walking boots to a high standard at a very reasonable price. Customer service was excellent with two telephone calls about the work.

I’m no blogger, nor am I normally taken to reviewing a business. Just my personal stance due to having seen so many false reviews in the past. But I’m breaking with my moral stand point. And for a very good reason.

I cannot rate to highly, my experience with Feet First (Chesterfield) Ltd.

Their customer service level, is compelling and an example to any business no matter what product or service they might be trying to sell. My profession is “Commercial”, so I hope you will understand when I say I do understand what “Customer Service” should be about. And they do too.

As a boot repair specialist they are outstanding and second to none.

Knowledgeable, about what they do and how it can be achieved, absolutely. Able to interpret what you need and how they can help, most definitely.

I will always be using Feet First (Chesterfield) Ltd to either repair or buy new replacement walking boots.

They understood my need, my environmental concern over throwaway boots, and exasperation over international boot makers reluctance to make it clear on marketing information if a boot style was repairable. They made the right recommendation, based on the style of boot I required. None of the leading retailers I’d tried really had a clue, what was or not repairable. But they did!
