My order was cancelled due to nil stock…
My order was cancelled due to nil stock despite showing available and taking my money. Still showing available after cancellation. Refunded within three days though but please have better stock control.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to place an order for an item that appeared available, only to have it cancelled shortly afterward. While we strive to keep our online stock levels accurate, some of our inventory is held in physical stores, and in rare cases, discrepancies occur—particularly with limited or sale items where only one or two units remain.
In your case, the item was the last one in stock and unfortunately did not meet our quality standards when the store prepared it for dispatch. We chose to cancel the order and refund you promptly rather than send out a substandard product. However, we acknowledge that the item remaining visible online after cancellation is confusing and we’re working to improve our systems to prevent this from happening in the future.

I ordered a pair of boots and sandals
I ordered a pair of boots and sandals. The items came separately however I was not charged postage as the two items together exceeded the minimum spend limit.
Although the website was well laid out, I found it hard to see/make out the detail such as ornamentation and on arrival the sandals were not to my taste. I was charged for returning the sandals, which was expensive and disappointing but the refund was credited to my credit card quickly.

I still miss the Elt's shop in Pershore, but Elt's online ordering and delivery service is superb. Excellent range of shoes always delivered very promptly.
