My laptop crashed and I had over 3000 family pictures and pictures of all the places I have traveled over the last five years. I do freelance work for a small business that had a power outage and was unable to reboot their server . our owners were in a panic . We called SALVAGEDATA Recovery right away . They came out fast and they did a thorough review of the company server . They got the issue resolved quickly and completed other system checks to ensure we would have no further issues . Now the server works without a hitch . We also didn't lose any data thanks to the SALVAGEDATA Recovery team.

Everything about the customer service and response time was fine.

I was unable to have my hard drive repaired, but it was entirely on my own part.
Rather than having it taken to a pro first, I allowed a co-worker that dabbled in hard drive repair off-handedly to take a look into it. We discovered what was wrong with it, and attempted a small fix, but it was unsuccessful. So, rather than talk to a pro from there, I allowed him to look at the clicking needles inside the drive.

Opening the faceplate was the biggest mistake.
Not only did it result in the damage that destroyed my drive, but it also made me ineligible for the free professional inspection.
(This is stated on their website. I don't know why people are complaining about it.)

All in all, it was a fine interaction. I'm just a bit depressed that I screwed myself out of my work.

they suck. they quoted me one price to recover a disk and when i balked they began lowering away -- although still too expensive. i felt like i was at a used car lot. they go into hard sell right away. they lowball their initial estimate range to suck you in. and they charged an outrageous $40 to ship the disk back where i declined their services. a really, really...sleazy...experience.

Had lost my data when my cat knocked my external drive off my desk. I was worried because I heard a clicking noise and found out that’s not something you want to hear. Salvage Data did a good job getting back the files because everything was the same way as before. They did warn me that because of the damage that some files were corrupt but I ended up getting back what I needed, so I was happy. My account rep was very helpful and went over the file list with me to confirm it was the right data. I specified which files were important and they had them conveniently separated into a new folder for me. I was originally getting quotes for up to $2,500 so I’m happy I went with them!

They could really improve in their customer service department personnel. Rudest customer service rep. that I have ever had to deal with. I've been a secretary for over 30 years & deal with a lot of people in person & on the phone. Never in all those years have I dealt with a ruder person. They have some great reviews (that's why I chose them) but they didn't really do anything for me but take my money. Long story short if you pick them because of their great reviews make sure when you call them if George answers please ask for someone else. Believe me you will appreciate the heads up.

I had a hard drive that crashed and had another company look at it. They said it could be recovered, but it would cost a lot. I found Salvagedata and sent them my drive as instructed. Once they got it, they said it would cost $200 for them to evaluate it even though their website said evaluation was free. I found that kind of shady so I asked them to send it back. The package I got had my drive wrapped in a single sheet of the small bubble wrap. I had sent it in a static free bag with an inch of bubble wrap. They sent it back like they didn't care. They didn't even follow their own web site instructions on how to package the drive. Pretty poor service and very unprofessional.

Glad I found these guys as I was previously told things were hopeless. The good work done by these guys saved the day for our small office.
