SC Furniture Ltd Avis 

Purchased a leather corner sofa from this store via Ebay. The item has never been marked as delivered on ebay, preventing me from leaving feedback. I have no option to confirm delivery to enable me to give a review on there and have reached out to sc and ebay about this.
Sofa was delivered on the date agreed by 2 helpful and friendly delivery men. I was initially very ,pleased with the sofa for the price paid.
I paid for them to set the sofa up and was pleased with this service. I checked the sofa over and it appeared fine, but once they left I noticed a small scuff in the leather on one of the seats. it looked like any friction against this would cause the leather to peel away - i could see what underneath. I called the drivers within 20 mins of them leaving and was asked to contact the store.
I contacted the store and was told (by kitty) that they would send 'an engineer' to repair the damage. I was told that the engineer was from a nationwide company and they come at a time convenient to me. I was told I was booked in and would get a call from the company to arrange a time.
A few days passed and I chased this up, still no call. After a week i contacted kitty again. During this call I was told that 'you're no longer our customer as we have delivered a sofa and fulfilled the order. Your issue is with Elmira (?) The engineers. I explained that I had not been given an appointment and was told 'I don't care' kitty was shouting over me, interrupting and refused to listen - at this point I put the phone down as I felt really let down, shocked and did not want to continue the call. Kitty called back and said 'I know you put the phone down on me'and then started backtracking saying that she did care and get her words muddled up...but from her attitude during the call, she made it clear that I was not a valued customer . I found it interesting how the attitude towards me changed after 7 days - once they no longer had any obligation to me within my rights of the buying from a distance act.
Anyway, after 2 months an engineer came. The information he had been given by sc furniture was completely wrong. He questioned us about why we had taken weeks to report the damage he showed me the information sc had given him and all the dates were wrong. Luckily I had emails ans photos and could show him exactly when I sent them. He was very surprised that we thought he was an engineer. He said 'I'm here to access the damage and liabiliy' and explained that he would not repair the damage if it had taken weeks for us to report it but as I could prove I reported with 20 mins after delivery he would repair it. Anyway, he wasn't able to match the colour, so left. We now have a blob of different coloured paint and a large shiny smear over the damaged seat.
Since then the USB (which worked for one charge) no longer works or lights up. Ive have reported this direct to elmira, who again couldn't get anyone around for weeks, then cancelled the appointment so I won't get anyone round until August now.
Really annoying service and I have zero faith in sc furniture to help (I actually feel anxious about even speaking to them after my experience)
The sofa otherwise is OK, not the comfiest and Leather is a bit thin - already starting to look saggy in areas after only 5 months (but for the price it's OK looking) and I'm still waiting for the scuff (and mismatched paint blob) and USB to be fixed. I don't hold out much hope and complety regret this purchase due to the poor customer support. We had planned to buy the matching chair and footstool but there is no way I'd be a returning customer.

I ordered and received a three seater and two seater Italian Leather suite in a beautiful light grey. The staff were very helpful and kept us up to date regarding the delay in receiving the leather but it was well worth the wait. The leather is beautiful and the electric recliner is magic. Dealt with John & delivery drivers Alan & Tim, the whole process was carried out with care & efficiency. From ordering to delivery I was kept informed. Would definitely recommend this company. Very pleased with the 3 & 2 seater sofas……Ken Lawrence

Great company to do business with.I ordered a black Clifton 3seater and 2 armchairs which are really good quality and comfortable.Before buying I asked for a material sample and one arrived in no time.Scott in the shop could not have been more helpful and kept me informed throughout.The reason I deducted one star is because although the two men arrived early and assembled everything I was disappointed to find all the packaging, and there was a lot, had been left on the public footpath outside my home so I had to drag it down the path cut it up and take it to the council waste tip which was annoying.
All in all I would recommend anyone thinking of buying a new sofa not to buy from the large multi nationals take a look at SC Furniture first.

Purchased Aberino Italian leather recliner chair. Very good price. Service excellent from order to delivery. Although advertised on Amazon, I saved money by direct contact with company which makes delivery very reasonable. 2 man delivery and setup in my living room was exceptional.

My first purchase with this company has proved to be a wonderful experience. The quality of the leather recliner chair is outstanding. They kept me informed about the progression of my order and the chair was delivered within the time frame specified. Saw an advert for SC furniture online and telephoned to enquire about the sofa we liked. Staff were so helpful and went out of their way to send colour samples via email and if needed by post. We had several questions and they were accommodating every time. Once ordered the delivery arrived sooner than we thought, we were telephoned to say order was ready for delivery and arranged a suitable time for us. The delivery men telephoned the day before and on the day, they were prompt and extremely reliable. They brought the furniture in, unwrapped it and put the feet on taking all the packing away with them. They were very friendly, helpful and made sure that I was happy with the purchase. We ordered two three seater sofas and we are thrilled with them. They look great and are so comfortable, the most comfortable well made furniture we have ever owned. Definitely recommend the furniture as well as the outstanding service provided.

We were in a position where we were in desperate need of a new bed as my wife was extremely ill and coming out of hospital. Went round all the big chains and no one could help us get a bed in time for my wife getting out. SC furniture were the only ones who could help, with kind and helpful service, they really helped in a difficult time and I will be taking all my future business to them for furniture. Can’t recommend SC furniture enough!

Great news all been delivered and the two guys were fantastic. Excellent service all round. They need a pay rise as they were friendly and polite and very committed to their work.

Purchased 3 seater and two seater Clifton sofas. Great value and very comfortable. Staff at shop very helpful and communication great. Delivered on time, delivery lads unpacked and set up sofas in less than 10 minutes, nothing too much trouble and very professional, courteous and polite. All dealings from purchasing to set up is blue sky. Will certainly recommend this company to everyone and a pleasant change in this day and age to really feel appreciated for your custom. Having purchased a Chicago sofa and two chairs from SC FURNITURE,I found the whole experience from purchase to delivery thoroughly professional,would recommend SC furniture, the quality of the furniture was first class.

From ordering my suite to its arrival everything was seamless. Any small queries I had were settled immediately. I was given an estimated delivery date which was met. On the day of delivery, my suite arrived at the time given and the men could not have been nicer. They were really polite and made sure my suite was placed exactly where I wanted it, with all packaging taken away.
I am highly delighted. Five star job.
