After choosing an ex display sofa and getting an extra discount due to a lovely store manager we chose our sofa. There was an initial confusion with the original delivery which SCS helped to rectify the issue and went out of their way to ensure it would be delivered in a prompt time. The delivery crew of Simon & Huw were fantastic in putting together the sofa on delivery.

We ordered a sofa from SCS with an estimated delivery date of the end of February, but here we are in mid-March, still without a sofa, and the delivery date keeps getting pushed back.

Initially, the Track My Order page showed our sofa arriving at the distribution center on 03/03/2025, then it changed to 17/03/2025, and now it has been delayed yet again to 24/03/2025. At this point, we have been without a sofa for over three weeks, and we are beyond frustrated.

Delays happen, but what makes this experience so frustrating is the lack of communication and constantly shifting delivery dates. We have received no proactive updates, and every time we check, the date has been moved further away. If we’d known from the start it would take this long, we probably would have looked elsewhere, or at least made temporary arrangements. Instead, we’ve been left waiting with no sofa for 3 weeks and no certainty on when we’ll actually receive our order.

At this point, we urgently need a clear and final delivery date. If there are further delays, we expect SCS to take responsibility and offer compensation for the inconvenience. We just want our sofa as soon as possible and some honest communication about when we can expect it.

A really disappointing experience so far—we would not recommend Scs.

The service as a whole was excellent, from the Gloucester showroom to delivery I couldn’t fault anything. The updates and ability to track was brilliant, the delivery itself was seamless with the allocated time slot and even receiving a call from Charlie & Nicky to confirm the exact time they would arrive. They were extremely professional and are an asset to the business.
We can’t wait to spend our Friday evening on our cosy new sofa.

The two men (DAL+SCOTT ) that delivered my Sette were very polite and friendly a great help in putting it were I wanted it they also showed me how to operate it.

Russell and Alex were so helpful and professional. Called about an hour before to advise us of estimated arrival time. Put protective blanket down on floor, assembled a large modular recliner sofa and chairs efficiently and expertly. Were chatty, friendly and helpful at all times. We visited your Gloucester store and spoke with Karen, who was very friendly and helpful. Later, we wanted to speak to her by phone as the dimensions and picture on your website did not match those of the sofa we liked. We found it difficult to find a direct phone number to ring but was given an email address which we used. Karen rang us and we completed the purchase by phone. We then contacted Karen again to check that delivery could be delayed to suit us if necessary, which she confirmed. Purchasing was a positive experience but I noticed that if I had called to discuss delivery, I would have had to join a very long queue of callers, which did concern me.

Carys was the very helpful sales lady at the St Oswald's store in Gloucester who processed our purchase. There was no pressure and she took us through the various options of our purchase in a very friendly way and informative way.

Kept informed of delivery times.Delivery was on time as expected. Dai & Scott who delivered our chair was friendly & helpful. Well done both.

Told our sofa was going to be delivered today, we have waited and even had our old sofa taken away this morning. No call, no text and the customer service enquiry line was useless with an automated voice telling us it was up to 156 minutes to talk to an agent!!! We regret buying our sofa with this company, awful communication and not honouring the delivery date is unacceptable!
