We created a Selfwealth account to transfer shares from my late father's estate and as I had never held shares before the process was a little daunting. Transferring shares from multiple companies to four trustees was not a simple process, as I quickly found out. I was very fortunate that my case manager was very supportive and knowledgeable throughout the journey. Which in fact was a very long one, over five months. Every time I contacted Annette, I was given a quick response and solution to each issue. I can't thank her enough for her pleasant attitude, knowledge and patience throughout. Making difficult situations easily solved. Thanks again to Annette and the team at Selfwealth, my first involvement has made me realise we chose the right company to look after our portfolio.

I had an issue with an issuer-sponsored holding. After 5 hours on the phone with Commsec and Computershare with no resolution, I was at my wits' end. I logged on to Selfwealth and was instantly connected via the live chat function to a proactive and highly capable customer service rep (Vavia), who went above and beyond to solve my problem. And she solved it very quickly. This experience has elevated my opinion of Selfwealth dramatically. Their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend Selfwealth to Aussie investors who care about fast, competent customer service. Commsec is an absolute joke!

SelfWealth provides very affordable transactions costs, which makes the whole process very cost-efficient. The website is straightforward and easy to navigate - very easy to place orders - but if there are any difficulties, help is readily at hand, providing a very personalised touch.
Some things are still being developed e.g. the charting area, but that is a minor deficiency that will be addressed in time.
The staff at SelfWealth are very active in improving their service, and are in regular contact seeking feedback on how things could be improved - I have not come across this level of customer consultation before, and I would have no hesitation in recommending SelfWealth as an excellent trading platform.

SelfWealth willingly listen to the customers' feedback to improve her services. Due to the limited resources, the new apps might hopefully be improved as good as CBA's app.

I managed to lock myself out of my account after updating my phone as I could not access the 2 factor authentication Ap. I sent an email to the support desk and got a reply and a resolution within minutes. Michael from the support desk was careful to ensure I could validate my identity and I was on my way in no time at all.

After researching a report on 'Top 15 Australia's most trusted online trading companies for 2025', we chose two. (The 2nd and the 5th)
The 5th was Selfwealth, based on our investment intentions while we move towards our retirement phase. I can honestly say we have had the most engaging, supportive & helpful experience since making first contact with Selfwealth. Their online account application process is easy & super clear. The staff are knowledgable, polite and within easy reach, something that is seriously lacking in service today. Whether via email, phone or conference, they provide the easiest contact methods and also proactively contacted us during the set up process just to say hi & introduce themselves as our 'one on one support'. Whilst we're very early in the online trading process, I've found their portal to be easy, user friendly in navigating and they also provide training tutorials to support you at your own pace in learning, on top of the added personal contact. Thier Fee structure is completely transparent so you know for each trade how much is applicable. We are excited about partnering & building our share investment portfolio through Selfwealth & consequently, due to the service & support Selfwealth have shown, we have cancelled the 2nd Company application, as they do not come close to matching Selfwealth's Client Support ethics. We have experienced the complete opposite side of the coin with the 'other company who rated 2nd', complete lack of support, unable to contact, insisted a monetary amount was required at set up in order to progress the application faster, no office in Australia even though their website says they do, unwilling to return our funds and getting up at 4am in the morning to make constant follow up calls to Chicago to resolve 'so called system issues' preventing me from access to 'my' funds.
Selfwealth is 100% well above the so called 2nd - they should be 'Australia's Number 1 choice' hands down. You only need to set up an account for yourself to discover how good they are AND they dont request you deposit your funds prior to the account being activated.
