The lifeguards were great and really helpful when I was getting on and off the rides with my son, who has just turned two. For him, the only ride we could do was the Mai Thai River, a couple of slides or the shallow parts of the wave pool so not amazing value for money when you have a child of this age. Our daughter is just above 1m10 so she could do a handful of rides. As most rides require 1m25 in height, I would say that this park is ideal for older ages. Tip: Go on the ride you want to do the most when you arrive as queues start to get busy after 11am.

The lifeguards and ride staff seemed strict, but I actually don’t mind this because they are saying it to keep people safe and are taking their job seriously.

A lot of staff had serious issues though:
1) The photo team purposely cordoned off paths so that you had to queue in the photo line (causing massive crowds of disgruntled people) and told people off who didn’t want photos when they tried to get past.
2) A woman in a shop sold us two adult caps for our baby and daughter when we had asked for children’s caps. She said that we should pay but could try them, and then refused to exchange or refund them for smaller ones once we gave her the money. Her colleagues were not particularly impressed with her either by the looks of things. *It is worth noting that I speak fluent Spanish so it wasn’t a miscommunication issue - just a saddo having a power trip.* Thankfully, a really lovely sales woman in another shop was very accommodating when we went to explain this to her and she exchanged them.
3) The bus driver told my husband to put the baby on his knee rather than stay in his pram (fine - safety protocol.) When we arrived at the park, he opened the door of the bus and trapped his little foot and leg with the door. The baby was screaming and we called to the driver to help and close the door and at this point he clearly knew what had happened, but at no point did he offer to help us or check that the baby was okay. This is really concerning to me.
4) On our final visit to the park, we decided to walk to Siam Mall before heading back to the hotel. It was a nice mall with good shops. We went to catch the shuttle outside the mall back to Fañabe and went to two drivers to ask *again, really politely, and in Spanish* when the next bus would be. One of them interrogated us about why we were catching the bus from the mall and not the water park (there are no buses back from the park until after 3pm and we wanted to shop.) The other driver refused to speak to me, even though we needed to catch his bus. I got really sexist vibes from him because he only looked at my husband and I don’t think that it could be that he had an issue with tourists because I was making an effort and speaking his language. He never offered to open the bottom of the coach for the pram (which again, seemed odd because many of the other drivers that we had had on previous visits did this.)

Overall, the park has a lovely vibe and some really good rides for adults and older children. The ride staff, lifeguards and medical staff (who patched up my son after the bus incident) were lovely and helpful. However, it is a shame that Siam Park don’t vet the rest of their staff properly for basic interpersonal skills. Couldn’t they simply ask “do you like other people?” at the interview to whittle down the selection process a bit??

Terrible value for money looooooooooooong queues no point in wasting your time or money stay away you will have a much better time at the beach or at home !

Rides were okay but waited 45-1hour. 10 euro for a locker. Unnecessary fish and seals in the park. Definitely not the best in the world.

We visit the Siam Park and it was a huge disappointment and a complete waste of money. We waited approx 1 hour in line to get the slide. And 1hour to get the food.

Love queuing? If so this definitely the place for you. Your adventure begins when you arrive. Your bags are emptied and examined just in case you have the audacity to bring in a bag of your own crisps when you should be buying the triple marked up bags they sell at each kiosk. Once you've passed within the prison walls you then have the option of your 1st queue which is to spend €10 on a locker key. Once completed then you can choose whichever ride you want to spend about an hour plus queuing for. Whilst shuffling in this sunshine laden hell you can watch people who paid €500 for fast pass tickets gleefully skip past you and happily spend your waiting time working out whether you or them are the bigger idiots. 2 rides and 3 hours it's lunch time. As there's no food allowed it's time to join the kiosk queue (this experience was only 45 minutes which felt like a breeze). Once your disappointing and overpriced sandwich is consumed you're free to go back and choose which circle of watery hell you want to line up in next. Enjoy! You'll probably get out alive but a small part of something inside you will definitely have died.

Würde eigentlich keinen Stern geben das ist wirklich kein schöner Park würde ich nie wieder hingehen Eintritt eine Frechheit 42 Euro und dann noch für ein Schließfach 7 Euro bezahlen über die Hälfte der Rutschen geschlossen und das Personal mega unfreundlich ! 😡

Negative Review of Siam Park

My visit to Siam Park was a huge disappointment and a complete waste of money. As a parent of a 4-year-old child who is under 100 cm tall, I can confidently say that Siam Park is absolutely not a family-friendly place for those with small children. I’m sharing my experience to warn other parents from making the same mistake.

1. Lack of Attractions for Small Children
Despite being advertised as a family-friendly destination, the reality is that my child had access to only two attractions: a basic beach and a swimming area. These are experiences you can easily find at the seaside for free. All the other attractions were unavailable due to height restrictions. For a 4-year-old child, there was virtually nothing to do, making the park completely unsuitable for families with young kids.

2. No Information About Closed Attractions
The only dedicated children’s area, Lost City, was closed. What made matters worse was that no one informed us of this when we purchased our tickets. There were no warnings or notifications, and this is unacceptable. Such information should be prominently displayed before customers make their purchase. It felt like deliberate misinformation to secure sales.

3. No Refund Policy
It is outrageous that the park does not offer refunds, even when customers are unable to enjoy what they paid for. Everyone should have the right to a refund if the park fails to deliver on its promises. My family wasted money on tickets that were absolutely not worth it. This policy shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.

4. Ruined Day
The entire visit was a nightmare. My partner was forced to stay in one spot with the kids while I tried to make the most of the attractions alone. It completely ruined our plans for a fun family outing. It was frustrating to know that the money we spent was entirely wasted, and we couldn’t even enjoy the day together.

5. Not Family-Friendly
This park is solely geared towards older kids and adults. If you have young children, Siam Park has nothing to offer. My experience clearly shows that it is not a place for families with kids below a certain age or height.

Conclusion

Siam Park absolutely does not deserve its reputation as one of the best water parks in the world, especially when it comes to accommodating families with small children. The lack of attractions, failure to inform customers about closed areas, and the unacceptable no-refund policy are disgraceful practices that alienate and frustrate visitors. I cannot recommend this park to any parents with small kids – you will only waste your time and money.

The management of Siam Park needs to seriously rethink their approach to customer service. Implementing a refund policy, providing accurate information about available attractions, and investing in facilities for younger children are the bare minimum changes they need to make. Until these issues are addressed, the park does not deserve its positive reputation or the title of being family-friendly.

Think twice before visiting – I cannot stress this enough!

Staff are so rude and miserable.

The staff really are poor with bad attitudes and really unhelpful.

Petty rules constantly enforced and signage for the park is awful. Im a full grown man who was told off by a young lad working there for standing up in the rapids to help my partner...

You'll end up walking round into dead ends not knowing where you are going.

Changing rooms and lockers are small, dark and you have to pay for them! Despite having to pay €40+ per person!

Food and drinks typically over priced in these places and nothing new here

Staff have cameras and will take photos of you and try sell them too you when you leave.

No idea what the hypes about, don't go. Waste of time and money.

Het was een super dag!voor de kinderen maar ook voor ons. Elke glijbaan gehad.. wachttijden waren zo 15 minuten.goed te doen!sommige zelfs korter. Wij waren er op zaterdag.

I am staggered that this place has been rated the world's best water park for 8 years in a row. The rest must be atrocious. Siam Park was a massive disappointment and not even close to being worth the money. Firstly, the shuttle bus was over half an hour late. Secondly, they were more interested in making you queue for photos than letting you into the park to enjoy it. Thirdly, their staff were unhelpful and at times downright rude, enforcing petty rules for which there were no signs. Fourthly, the signage was awful and unclear, very hard to navigate or work out where things are. Fifthly, it was massively overcrowded, with no changing facilities and having to pay €10 for a tiny locker after paying a fortune for the main ticket was a slap in the face. Finally, the queues were ridiculously long so you only get to go on a few rides even across a whole day. Yes, the wave pool is cool, and the Dragon was an amazing ride, but that doesn't make up for the rest. Siam Park is disorganised, unwelcoming and massively overrated.

Paying almost 150eu for a family of four. We were there for two hours and effectively used 1 slide. Queues are extremely long. We left angry and feeling ripped off. It was our last day of visiting Tenerife.

Park seems great and slides even greater, but it is way overgrouded. Waited 80min in queue for one slide. Even fast track had to wait atleast 25 minutes. Wasted all day got to go 3 slides. If bigger trip advising sites would let to leave reviews then people could keep away before ruining a day of their vacation. We came with two families and we would never come back even if the tickets were half the price. Everyone are very dissapointed

Looooong queues, virtually no signs, rude staff, terrible food and a bad bus service. Definitely not recommended.

The park is very beautifull, the slides are very much fun, and could be a very great experience....but the fast tracks ruined every good feeling. Even though you wait a long time in every line, you are looking forward to the try- out, but then you see the same people four times rum past you at the fast track. If you think you want to buy the dast track, be ready to be treated badly by the other guests.

Schöner Park, macht viel Spaß. Wir hatten aber das Gefühl das die Größenangaben nicht passen. Unsere Tochter ist 1,25 m groß und war an den Abmessungen im Park nur 1,20. Haben vorher extra nachgemessen.
An einer ""roten " Rutsche durfte sie rutschen, an der gelben musste sie zurück...
Sehr voll, teilweise lange Wartezeit.

Amazing time and amazing experience. When there with fast pass, done all slides in couple hours. Really happy. Definitely will be back here in a future

Me and my boyfriend went to Siam Park recently and we were really looking forward to our fun day out, knowing what to expect as we have both been before with friends.
We started our day off getting a €10 locker, then on to the lazy river.
The first actual slide “the snake one” we went on we got a double ring and lined up, as soon as we got to the front of the line a slim member of staff looks me and my partner up and down and said we couldn’t go down and asked if we were over this certain weight. Me being slightly offended and insecure, I laughed it off and asked what he was trying to say!
This gentleman seemed very smug and told us that he was only 75kg and we couldn’t be anywhere near that, I said we would be fine and he proceeded to tell us we could come off the ring or hit the wall at the bottom (There were people at the bottom of the slide anyway to stop us hitting the wall) He said if we really wanted to go down together to put our thumbs up at the camera, and I told him no. This gentleman proceeded to speak Spanish to a father and son who was waiting behind us, that I can only guess asking to swap, my boyfriend got on the ring with the son and I got on the ring with the dad, before I got on the ring though I asked if I’m at the front, he looked me up and down again and said no.
As soon as I got to the bottom of the slide, I just sobbed, I felt horrible, embarrassed and discriminated against that I had been treated in front of so many people. Just out right shamed.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not stupid (nor am I skinny or even heavily overweight), I know there is safety precautions but that’s not a way to speak to someone.
We tried to enjoy our day after that but we felt like it put a dampener on the day after paying all that money, being spoken to like that and then felt restricted to go on any slides that require a double ring.
I would advise anyone that is slightly larger to this.

Parksituation ist Katastrophe, die umliegenden Parkplätze sind nicht gepflegt und gleich weg, man kann für 7€ einen Parkplatz bekommen aber die Fläche ist auch nicht groß, besser mit dem Bus kommen, die erste 1h ist nur Wartezeit, hatten zwar online ein ticket gekauft mussten aber für die schließfächer 1h anstehen und dann dafür noch 10€ zahlen, Grundsätzlich ist der park sehr cool nur für mich war er sehr unübersichtlich bei den Wartezeiten von den Rutschen bist du gleich mal getäuscht worden weil man nicht gesehen hat wie lang die schlange ist. Würde kein zweites mal hinfahren da mir das Geld zu schade ist
