From start to finish Simply were professional, efficient and excellent value for money. The project started and finished (mainly) as promised; on time and with very few snags. The advantage of using a professional specialist loft company was clear to see!

Special mention to our appointed project manager/contractor Ben Warren who was organised calm and professional throughout. He went out of his way to be available, flexible and very good with the neighbours.

I am a natural worrier and he reassured and explained matters to me throughout as the inevitable issues were dealt with and overcome.

I would recommend Simply and Ben in particular.

Like most of you considering a loft conversion, you probably will have had numerous quotations and carried out rigorous checks on the companies that you are considering choosing to undertake this large piece of building work on your home. It can prove costly if you get it wrong!

I chose Simply based on their reputation, reviews (positive and negative) and repository of work - viewing previous works undertaken and discussing customer experience from homeowners that have worked with the Simply Construction Group / Simply Loft. My choice for Simply to undertake my work was as a result of a gut feeling, from the initial surveyors visit to carry out the survey, and viewing completed projects to confirm my initial instinct.

There is a lot of commentary about Simply Loft being just a sales and marketing company! Wake up everybody, the larger loft companies typically do tend to be sales and marketing; they take on the workload and overheads of securing the clients for the smaller subcontractors to carry out the build; a perfect business model! Good builders get rewarded with more work! Poor builders get struck off! What could be simpler than that…..

My journey with Simply started 2 years ago when I got my initial quote. I didn’t do anything for a year then approached Simply again and the quote was still valid – that was promising given that we were now in the middle of the pandemic! I’m a mid-terraced property owner so had the challenge of two party wall agreements to get signed off. Ended up with a party wall award for one and a mutual agreement for the other. I won’t bore you with the to-ing and fro-ing that I had to undergo once my neighbour constructed their loft but let’s just say that this had implications for my build.

For me though, it was a blessing in disguise as my newly appointed Project Manager, Ben, was on top of his game! Somebody was looking down on me and my project hit the ground running!

Project Manager assigned on a Friday, materials delivered the following Wednesday, build started the following Monday and by the beginning of the following week, my frame was fully constructed and water tight – 6 days people! Throughout the build my Project Manager was fantastic - consulting me on any changes required for my build to meet regulations prior to undertaking the works. My Project Manager was also my builder - What a result! Six weeks later, and we were on the last stages of my project; aiming to complete inside the eight week timescale. All trades attended as scheduled! All trades were polite and respectful! All trades engaged in friendly banter! 😊

Simply Customer services called and visited (Thank you Lorraine and Holly) and everything was on track.

The burning question / wording you’ve probably been scouring this review for is “recommendation”! Of all the positive reviews that I’ve seen, the key to a recommendation appears to revolve around the allocation of the Project Manager / construction team! Get this right and the model works! Don’t get me wrong though, there were also some hurdles to overcome but that’s life and we all learn from these experiences! Instinct is instinct and we all have and trust that! For me, Simply got this right and my Project team were the best! I’m always going to be biased!

My new loft space of two bedrooms and a shower room are complete and this could not have been carried out without the support of Simply Loft and their allocation of Ben, as my Project Manager.

I wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for the repairs on my loft extension. Everything looks as good as new again.

My loft was completed in 2014 and I was extremely happy back then. Just recently, I experienced 1 or 2 bits that needed repairing under our 10 year warranty. The facilities team called ahead to arrange a time that suited me, then came out and fixed my small issues.
I also wanted to mention Lorraine, who I spoke to on many occasions, she was always very helpful whenever I called. She made sure the company turned up & kept me updated. She also called me to make sure everything was going as planned & very pleasant to talk to.

Simply Loft delivered a stunning loft conversion for us and we are really happy with the end result. We had a hip to gable and rear dormer loft extension. A full service project delivered from the team. Starting from initial survey through to project completion certification, we found all dealings with this team to be professional and friendly throughout. The project portal Simply Loft give you makes progress tracking clear for all parties. Great team. I will use again for my next project!

We were immediately impressed at the start by the initial meeting and the flexibility they offered us for our project. We were initially just looking for an extension but we ended up using them for multiple other projects around the house too which was great. We were also very happy with the quote for the total project and found them to be very competitive to other companies.

We valued Simply’s organization and efficiency throughout the process. Lorraine was a pleasure to deal with on our day-to-day enquiries . We had a few issues along the way with Neighbours and planning etc., but Simply were very helpful, calming and clearly had a lot of experience in this field .

We were assigned Root Construction / Marius as our contractor/ project manager and we were extremely happy with our experience with them too.

Amazing service offered by this company. Simply were very well organised with frequent check ins to ensure everything was going to plan. Lorraine was absolutely FANTASTIC, literally was a joy and a pleasure having her liaise with me during the entire project.

The builders ‘expanse homes’ did a phenomenal job with my build always keeping me in the loop with all decisions. The finish of the work is also great.

Overall very very pleased with the service provided and would definately recommend for anyone looking to get building work done.

Simply Loft designed a compact and cost effective loft for our terraced house to enable a 4th bed and bath. The project happened on time, within budget and the contractor Briken found creative ways to improve the build whilst sticking within budget. He was honest and communicated well throughout. The work has been completed to a high standard on time.

Simply Loft recently completed a dormer loft conversion with ensuite bathroom for us. We were really impressed with the quality of the build, and skills of all the trades who worked on our project. The work was completed quickly and to a very high standard, and everyone was extremely considerate and helpful throughout. Lorraine, the Customer Service Manager also went above and beyond for us throughout the project, regularly checking in to make sure that we were happy and that everything was on schedule. We would certainly recommend Simply Loft to anyone considering using them for a loft conversion!

Where do I start! Nothing but positive things to say about Simply Loft and the team we were fortunate to be appointed with. Our large project consisted of a loft conversion with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Then the reconfiguration of rooms on the first floor. I have to say; our Project Manager Audrius and his team of builders were ‘simply’ second to none. The precision, professionalism, quality and speed of the level of work has been remarkable and carried out to a very high standard. As you can tell by this review I’m a very happy customer and that’s saying a lot for somebody who is relatively picky (I know what I like) and has attention to detail that annoys myself sometimes! (And they were very flexible). But joking aside, for our first project on a large scale this really has been a great experience for my husband and I and we can’t wait to move onto the next one with the same team!! I can’t thank simply loft and Audrius and his team enough for carrying out such a great job on our beautiful home.

Highly recommend Simply Lofts, I absolutely love our loft extension it has transformed our flat and added so much space. Everyone we have dealt with has been fantastic, really helpful and informative, we have been really pleased with our service. We were also appointed a project manager, Marius, who was our point of contact throughout the build process - he managed all the timings and builders/contractors really efficiently (ahead of schedule too!).

We have recently had a loft extension and first floor reconfiguration works carried out by Simply. We now LOVE our much more spacious home which Simply helped us to achieve. Our build team were polite, friendly and carried out great works across all trades. Simply and Leigh's team were excellent during the months of construction. Overall this has been a very positive and successful loft conversion project and my family and I are very happy about our new living space, which added a master bedroom and a large ensuite bathroom to our semi-detached house.

The communication was great throughout the whole duration of the project. The structural construction works were carried out very smoothly, with only little issues (promptly addressed) and to a very high standard. Leigh also took on some of the work, particularly when building the roof structure and the beautiful staircase.

The schedule and delivery of the project were great and according to what originally planned. This is a credit to Leigh's ability to project manage the whole team and take on work even on Sunday to finish in time.

Simply Lofts recently co-ordinated extensive work on our property which included a two room loft conversion with en suite and the remodelling of our first floor bathroom and moving a wall to create a first floor office space. Our team were Root Construction and our project manager was excellent. I cannot recommend them highly enough, they were superb. Our build could have been sent off course massively by COVID conditions but Root's builders worked exceptionally hard to make sure the major construction was completed really quickly and there were absolutely minimum delays to the project overall. We are so pleased with the results and the finish including tiling and decorating. There was remarkably little disruption given the amount of work and all the professional trades were accommodating and helpful giving realistic schedules and advance warning of when we needed to make any decisions. I really felt like I could trust the team and would have no hesitation in recommending their work.

We are thrilled with our loft bedroom and en-suite. Everything was completed to the highest standard and to the projected timings. Marius and his team were fantastic, professional and highly skilled. The team kept us up to date with the expected works for the following week. We were very impressed with how quickly everything came together, and how stress free the process was too. Any mess was kept to an absolute minimum and all workers cleaned up after themselves too. We are more than happy to recommend Simply Loft and love our new loft space.

Simply Loft did a fantastic job on our recent loft conversion. From the beginning initial meetings, all the way through to the end and completion, they were honest, open and flexible throughout the process. The team was very had-working and I was surprised with how quick they got things done. They were always very punctual and diligent and I have to give full credit to the project manager Marius who was very responsive, even when he was on holiday! He ran a great team of builders, carpenters etc and the end result was exactly what we were looking for! Would definitely recommend/use again.
