No reply to emails for weeks

I was recommended this website by a friend for a new car seat. I sent an email using the form on the website, giving my child's age, weight, height etc. I didnt receive a reply. After a week, I sent a polite chaser email as i thought maybe my email had been missed. Never heard anything back, so I bought it from someone else instead.

They take your money but don't give you what you pay for

Placed an order mid June which had an expected delivery date 4 days later. After a week with no delivery I emailed asking for an update. It's now July and I still have not received my order and cannot get into contact with anyone from this company.

Found a carseat for my friend so tagged her on facebook. Asked my friend if she seen it, and she didnt. I checked and we were both blocked from the favebook page. Like huh..? But reading all these 1 star reviews, im not surprised lol. Definitely saved me and my friend!

No words for how vile you are

Not even 1 star she deserves. Absolute headcase you are gabi. Unfortunately I bought a car seat off her brand new, emailed months ago asking for help and nothing back. All the reviews are right. She is rude and nasty. I've never known a business like it. Considering we are the people who keep her in business, her attitude is beyond disgusting. Before ordering I gave her the benefit of the doubt even after being in the fb group and witnessing every single nasty comment she made to everyone. Today my friend tagged me in a post on the page and before I got to see it I found I WAS BLOCKED FROM THE GROUP. Horrible, vile, nasty piece of work. I suggest you read these comments and seriously reconsider buying off her.

Excellent experience start to finish…

Excellent experience start to finish with Gabi. You can really tell she cares about the safety of the babies and kids and wants to help educate others. I messaged last week to say I was ordering the seat this morning and would I be able to collect due to going on holiday later this week. She responded within an hour this morning after I let her know I'd placed my order and within 4 hours we were at home with a new fab safely fitted seat for my 11 week old. Gabi fitted our new seat, explained all of its features and made sure my baby was comfortable and happy. I could not fault her customer service skills at all. She also supplied me out a mirror for the car. I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews, some people aren't open to learning and taking on board safety advice.

But overall a fab experience and would certainly put my money, trust and child's safety in Gabi's hands again!

Absolutely fantastic! Gabi has been amazing from start to finish. I had lots of questions and Gabi was very quick responding to my messages, very knowledgeable and extremely professional. I'm now going to save up for another car seat for my daughter as I'm so impressed with my son's. Thank you Gabi 😁.

I ordered a car seat that was delivered…

I ordered a car seat that was delivered whilst I was out. It was thrown over my back gate and I was worried as to whether it would be okay to use or not. Upon inspection I noticed the polystyrene on the car seat had a slight thumb sized indent. I asked Gabi if it was okay to use still and she accused me of cracking the car seat. She was so rude and all I was asking was if there’s a small indent was it okay to use still. I was looking for reassurance but instead received passive aggressive messages from her, accusations and then she blocked me. I have never seen anything so unprofessional and now I’m left wondering whether the car seat if safe to use or not.

Update: I also have read receipts for the entire conversation and Gabi’s below response is not accurate in the slightest. I did not ask her to see if there was any damage after the car seat had been thrown over my fence. I asked if it was safe to use as the standard guidelines say even if your car seat has been involved in a small accident to replace regardless of whether there is visible damage or not. I wanted to know if it was safe to use. That’s all. Upon inspection I noticed a small indent. Again, I was merely asking if it was safe to use with a small indent yet Gabi didn’t answer this and kept throwing around accusations of me cracking the car seat. The car seat is not cracked and I have no idea why she kept mentioning the car seat being cracked. Her messages were very rude and hostile. I would never recommend buying from here.

That isn’t by any means an accurate account of what happened, you firstly told me a 10 kg car seat had been thrown over a fence - unlikely to be thrown at this weight, it would of been lowered over, you then wanted me to asses any damage without you opening the box to check it over.

You was then reporting the side feeling different to the other, I advised you remove the fabric and have a look for any damage, to which you replied you didn’t know how.

I then advised that any wobbling of the seat can cause the polystyrene to crack at the sides ( you sent a video of yourself doing this exact movement )

I never suggested there was a crack, but without xray vision it would be impossible for me to see through the fabric.

You was then persistent to argue with me at 8am, before I had even had time to have a coffee so I had to block your number to stop the abuse.

I would give zero stars if I could, I do not recommend this business, avoid at all costs. Its such a shame because she was super helpful on Facebook which led me to her business.

I ordered a car seat, which might I add wasn’t cheap.
I hadn’t received any update on shipping and it was due to arrive yesterday or today, so I contacted through email and heard nothing back. I then rang the number on the website and did get through to her, to then be ignored. I tried to call many times but it wasn’t connecting.

She then cancelled my order and told me it was because I called her too many times in regard to the order. And that she had a lot on her plate and that she doesn’t need me constantly ringing.

She then proceeded in a very unprofessional manner to tell me I was rude and then rang me to pick an argument.

I wish I had read reviews before making a purchase. Because it’s quite clear she is unable to withhold the pressures of running what I believe to be a very important business, one aimed at parents whom also have a lot on their plate!

Hopefully you can take the negatives (which seem to be a fair few on your reviews) and reflect on how you handle customers.

Terrible, terrible customer service, I’m actually gobsmacked.

Edit: As you can see from the delightful business ladies response, an excuse of psychosis doesn’t warrant the way you speak to or treat customers so appallingly! This isn’t a one off. You shouldn’t be in business and absolutely I told you to F off, likes to give but can’t take it. Embarrassing. Get yourself some help lady

Second edit: Purchased the car seat I wanted from little peas who not only have been super helpful and polite but also give you 10% off. Highly recommend littlepeas.co.uk! Sod this mare and her child like temper tantrums.

You wasn’t ignored this businesses run single-handedly by one person, I had already spoken with you and told you I was going to update you, you then proceeded to ring me nine times in a row, if you wasn’t aware this is signs of psychosis.

You have also failed to add the abuse given to me, where you told me to fuck off.

You’re a horrible woman, and I will be pleased not to ship your item.

The owner is a Bully. Avoid at all costs.

I would not recommend Gabi or this service.

What should have been a straightforward child car seat related service turned into weeks of chasing, poor communication, dismissive responses, and an overall shocking lack of professionalism.

I first raised my issue on 30 March. By 17 April I was offered an open ended solution, yet the matter still dragged on unresolved. I repeatedly had to chase, and instead of receiving proper customer service, I was met with rude, patronising, and defensive messages.

This is particularly disappointing given that Gabi presents herself as someone who advocates for car seat safety and runs groups intended to advise parents on safety and fit quality. In my experience, the reality did not match that image at all. When I raised a genuine concern, it was not handled with care, urgency, or professionalism.

To make matters worse, I was then removed from the very groups that are supposed to help parents access advice around safety and fit quality. That felt petty and deeply inappropriate, especially when the issue related to a service I had paid for and concerns I had raised in good faith.

Her demeanour, both in private communication and within these groups, comes across as rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. I genuinely do not understand how this is considered acceptable when dealing with parents seeking guidance on child safety.

Ultimately, the service I paid for did not meet the required standard, the issue was not resolved in a reasonable timeframe, and I had to provide evidence to my bank in order to pursue a chargeback.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this service. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and rude attitude made an already stressful situation far worse.

Edit: Gabi’s comment to my review just reaffirms my experience.

Very knowledgeable and helpful to ensure we chose the correct car seat for our son. I had concerns over which seat to choose as I wanted to avoid his head flopping forward when he sleeps (as it does with our other seat). The owner allowed us to try our son in several seats and test them within our car. There were even toys available for my little boy to play with.

I'd read other reviews about the owner being rude, so was sceptical, but we found her to be nothing other than friendly, helpful and polite.

Sought advice and received same day…

Sought advice and received same day reply, purchased seat yesterday late morning and it was delivered by lunchtime today…..sent images and videos of fitting and installation this afternoon and received a response within only a couple of hours. Really couldn’t have asked for anymore from Simply Safe - thank you x

I ordered from this shop and not received what I ordered. I have never dealt with anyone this rude before. The seller, after being notified of the wrongdoing become aggressive and started to make verbal threats and name calling. Don’t waste your time and money order from a different shop!

Great service

Bought two car seats from Gabi, one for later use when new baby arrives, and one for my current daughter. The delivery was exceptionally quick and via message Gabi has been nothing but helpful with installation advice and a fit check. Can't fault this small business whatsoever. Thank you 😊

Making car seat buying simple!

From initial purchase to questions afterwards, we can't fault them. We were able to arrange collection of a new seat swiftly and easily with fast communication. Once the seat was fitted, we had a few questions to ensure we had done everything correct and again was given a swift response. As an additional bonus, this was the cheapest bundle we had found by far. We wouldn't hesitate to purchase from here again!
