Another Perfect Simpson Travel Holiday
This was our third holiday with Simpson Travel and once again they didn’t disappoint.
From booking to coming home, everything was so easy and well organised. The attention to detail and little thoughtful touches really do make a difference, and it’s clear how much care goes into making sure you have a lovely holiday.
We stayed at the beautiful Bella Mare Hotel in Corfu with my 11 year old son and had such a wonderful week. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality time together.

I had been on 10/10
I had been on holiday with Simpsons previously and had a 10/10 experience so I booked to go again with them in September. Due to health problems I have had to cancel the trip and the way Simpsons dealt with the matter was both professional and very sympathetic. Can’t wait to get well so that I can book with them again.

Stunning villa, iffy service
We stayed at Casal de Torres in the Algarve. The villa was stunning and perfect for our young family with a great pool, trampoline and table tennis. The service from Simpson travel was pretty poor though. The property is advertised as 5 days a week cleaning which was important to us, and so when we got our pre-departure info I emailed to re-confirm this was the case - Simpson confirmed. However when we got there this wasn't the case and the villa rep didn't seem to have any awareness of the villa expectations as per the website/booking. He then did his best to sort it out for us but it was generally very poor - bathrooms only cleaned on request, pool towels not changed at all during our 2 weeks, animal droppings in the outside areas that we had to ask to be cleared away, outside tables not wiped down in 2 weeks. We got our own cleaning supplies at the supermarket but we just expected better, especially in a "signature" villa. The villa rep who we hadn't yet met did say that he would pop in on our last day, but we got a text in the evening to say he "got busy" and so wouldn't be coming. All in all, an amazing villa but just really budget service.

A first class service
Simpson travel provided a first class service from start to finish. The team in the office deal with queries efficiently and are super helpful. The teams on the ground when you arrive at your destination can’t do enough for you. Kitty one of the reps who works in Kalkan is fantastic - great local knowledge; always available and exceptionally kind.

Worst villa we have had
We recently stayed at Villa Morell in Mallorca (July 2026). The list of things wrong with the villa is long and all of the faults have been reported to Simpson Travel. For clarity we have received a 16% refund but this doesn't compensate us for a ruined holiday. The list of problems includes: black mould on showers, kitchen cupboard ant infestation, old worn out pool furniture, a pool that appeared not to have been cleaned before we arrived, old curtains in all bedrooms hanging off the curtain hooks, a clay tile bedroom ceiling with a hole that permanently leaked dirt and grit onto the floor by the bed, a leaking cistern in the poolside bathroom that took a week to repair, a dead cat on the porch when we arrived, a starving kitten left behind that the owner was too busy too catch (we were given a cardboard box and told to catch it ourselves, resulting in scratches that drew blood), grey, threadbare towels, one bedroom wth no bedside lamps, one bedroom where the bedside lamp had a faulty wire and didn't always work, several wasps nests, orange mould around the inside of the freezer door, the oldest fridges I have ever seen, a totally inadequate and dirty kitchen (we cleaned it ourselves), dirty old toilet brushes and bathroom bins, a wired in hairdryer (1 only for a villa that sleeps 8) which looked like a relic from the 1970's, a filthy table tennis table, a broken swing ball, uneven tiles round the pool, a filthy dirty barbecue, brown plants in pots on the porches, a yellow stain on a bedspread, totally inadequate kitchen equipment, a partially blocked bathroom sink, a non-working overhead shower, cheap nasty bathroom fittings (although not as nasty as the kitchen), silver backing coming off all of the bathroom mirrors, bathroom lights that just didn't work, a set of bedroom coat hooks where two of the hooks were bare nails as it had broken, marked and stained toilets, sparsely furnished bedrooms, yellowing plastic trunking on the walls, no bedroom mirrors, marked sun loungers, two of which ripped before the end of our two weeks as they were so old, cheap electrics around the pool, trip hazards around the pool area, a blocked dishwasher. It was clear that Simpson Travel had not checked the villa before advertising the property. This was not the luxury holiday the website had promised. I would recommend never using this company.

We remain sorry that we were ultimately unable to reach an agreement and I would like to reiterate our sincere apologies for your disappointment.
I should also say that we are still open to having a further discussion with you with a hope that this may provide an opportunity to reach a more positive outcome for you.
