Outstanding service

Absolutely amazing company. A huge thanks to all the staff at Kad not only were they the cheapest the delivery service was outstanding, our new bathroom was ordered delivered,fitted and working in 48hours. The bathroom furniture even arrived the next day before the plumbers did! How’s that for service! Will definitely recommend and be using again

Replacement tap

My existing tap seemed to be made of water soluble material and started leaking in a number of places. It was made by a well known sink / tap manufacturer with a name beginning in F.
Decided to replace said tap with pure stainless steel version from this company. Wasn't cheap but was exactly what we wanted.solid, robust stainless steel kitchen tap. Was delivered in a short time and as ordered. A really nice tap which will hopefully last for years.

Fantastic customer service…

Fantastic service the online facility was available very early in the morning and John who I spoke to was very efficient and friendly and managed to deal with my query and leave me feeling completely happy with the service I received. Look forward to receiving the new sink 😊

Feel misled over delivery times and…

Feel misled over delivery times and found customer service/management really condescending.
Next to item it said delivery 4-6+ weeks. I took that it would be around 4-6 weeks given a couple of weeks. Instead they have a banner down in the description (which i didnt need to read) that says this actually means 4-5 months!! He saw no logic in rephrasing to 4-5 months. Or even 6+ weeks. I'm now at 12 weeks. Another 8 to wait.

Hi Andy. With current manufacturing problems all over the globe its incredibly difficult to keep up to the moving timescales. Although we show a large red banner on the product page and we don't show the product as being in stock (as many companies do) we appreciate the amount of information on the screen can mean some get missed. We can only apologise for any inconvenience. We genuinely thought the action taken to show a manufacturing delay was appropriate but sorry if you felt we could have done this better.

Awful company

Awful company - website said item was currently available, but with a delivery within 4-6+ weeks...turns out its not available and the '+' means its not actually within weeks, but could take over 6 months to arrive!

When I raised the timeline an issue for us (as moving into a house with a young family - we need a kitchen tap!) and how the clarity of their website was very misleading around these timelines, I was treated to a barrage of abuse on the phone by a member of staff who then refused to let me speak to anyone else and hung up the phone.

They have still not addressed the issue around delivery timelines and appear to not care about how appalling threatening and rude their staff are. Avoid.

Edited to add - as you can see from the reply below - charming company to deal with. Their ‘red banner’ is only visible on website, not on their mobile site (on mobile it’s hidden in a section at the very bottom about product details, not even in the delivery section, which you need to scroll down multiple times and then open to see). But rather than try to find a helpful resolution to this, they have been rude and abusive. A really unpleasant experience and evidence of how poor customer service makes all the difference.

I'm really sorry that you thought the website was misleading. The actual wording shown on the product page reads .... Due to manufacturing delays, all Perrin and Rowe products showing as special order product 4-6+ weeks, are now taking approx 4-5 months.
We try and make the delivery information as clear and understandable as possible. However, we fully understand that we cannot guarantee that the way we word such information will suit everyone. I can only therefore apologise that you didnt undertsand the wording that we placed on the product page and that the large red delivery update banner was also not obvious enough.

In addition to your edit. I'm afraid we are not in control of how every device and screen size shows the information. The most important issue for us is we display as much information as possible and clearly. The Red banner was placed at the very top of the description and made in bright red as a warning. I'm sorry if your mobile screen meant you had to click on the description tab to show all the details.

Ordered a bluci filter tap but tap only…

UPDATED TO SAY THAT AFTER CONTACTING THE COMPANY VIA FB, I GOT A QUICK RESPONSE AND THE CORRECT PARTS SHIPPED👍 Ordered a bluci filter tap but tap only last year for my new kitchen. Now ordered complete filter kit but only replacement filter turned up, no fixings nothing. The plumber I paid to install it today could not install it. Out of pocket!!! Order 9979838

We are really sorry for the error. We have reduced numbers in our warehouse and in their attempt to get orders out quickly they didnt pack all of the items. You reported the issue on social media last night at 8pm and by 9am this morning we had resolved the problem and dispatched the parts on an upgraded/overnight DPD service. We are sorry for any inconvenience this error caused and our warehouse staff have been made fully aware of the issue.

Ordered a tap on 2 day delivery

Ordered a tap on 2 day delivery, 5 days later it hadn't turned up. I called Customer Services who advised it wasn't in stock. Richard organised for a new tap to be sent out next day delivery, he was very helpful.

Efficient and helpful

Richard was extremely helpful in organising a replacement part for my sink - when I originally purchased the sink in January they were all very helpful and efficient would recommend this company to everyone.

Real people ...... real service. Thumbs up...

Very friendly and helpful. Good communication and always available to take our calls. We over ordered by mistake and due to our workload we were outside of the returns date but sinks-taps.com let us return for a refund anyway. If you want to deal with real people who are helpful and understanding then order your taps etc through sinks-taps.com. Good prices too. No BS.

They will probably delete this review as they do if it is negative.
BEWARE if your item is damaged then they will blame you ! The 'man in charge' (apparently I am not allowed to use his name, but if you have a complaint you will soon find out) is the rudest man I have ever met in my life.
If you read the replies when you leave negative reviews they NEVER accept the blame they will always blame the customer. Poor Customer service.

Don't buy...

I've had to go through dispute resolution centre to get my money back. Why go through all that pain and suffering just because I bought something from them. Very poor customer service. Don't buy from this very unprofessional people.

You ordered a product which needed to be modified to your requirements (a hole was drilled out of the standard sink). We then arranged for the product to be shipped from York to Devon using a very expensive pallet delivery service. On Friday you received a phone call from the pallet company saying they would deliver on the Monday - you confirmed with them that this was acceptable. On Monday you turned the driver away, saying you have sorted out an alternative sink! We simply asked you to cover a small part of the delivery and return costs. You refused to accept any responsibility. Paypal simply decided in your favour as a customer and returned every single penny of your money even though, through no fault of our own, we have now lost over £100 in wasted shipping fees on a product that should not have been able to be returned. To make it even worse you have now written a negative review giving only a limited version of events.

As a small business we don't always get everything right. However, we always try to be fair and reasonable, even if its at our expense. I really don't think in these circumstances we warranted such a harsh review and I don't think we were being at all unreasonable by asking for just a contribution towards the shipping/return costs.

A great service

We are really pleased with the sink and tap we purchased. They look good and function well. The staff at sinks-taps could not have been more helpful, they responded promptly to questions and concerns that I had about my order and dealt with everything courteously and helpfully. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again in future.
