Spoke to John regarding an error with my order by using the live chat. The chat was answered quickly and John provided fantastic customer support. Will be ordering from this company in the near future as a result of the friendly assistance provided.

Changed tap

I ordered a tap on Monday then changed my mind. Spoke to john via live chat, on Thursday and he managed to stop the order and is sending out another. Refund on the way as well, it was so easy and painless would recommend highly. Love the live chats, so quick and efficient way to get things done.

Great Customer Service

I purchased a ceramic sink which was just what we wanted and arrived on time. The delivery driver unwrapped the sink and took all the rubbish away with him.
We had trouble trying to find a wastage kit to fit the overflow part of the sink as it was thicker then your metal sinks. I contacted the company to find out if they had something that would fit and within a couple of days we received a pipe that fitted perfectly.
Great customer service and i highly recommend this company

I ordered a tap which is not available for 12+ weeks…

I ordered a tap which stated it was available 3-5 days delivery 6 weeks later after having problems contacting company due the phones not being manned and their online chat not responding I eventually received a response to an email and I have now been told it will be 12 weeks possibly longer to receive my order, when I asked to cancel order and receive a refund I was told I couldn't have one. Richard who I was speaking to reeled off their terms and conditions and was very unhelpful. I think it is unacceptable to pay for an item and not even be given a delivery date. I would not recommend using this company as Richard who is supposed to be Customer Support was anything but helpful infact I found him sarcastic and quite rude.

I'm afraid that the review you have left is completely inaccurate and as a consequence of us not agreeing to your demands, you have gone online to write a damaging review, with false information that we will seek legal action to have corrected. You ordered a Special Order Perrin and Rowe product that clearly showed A) 10-12 weeks delivery and B) It was made to order and could not be cancelled. You also clicked to agree to the standard terms and conditions that stipulated all of the above and more. You claimed none of this information was on the website and yet it is clear for all to see. We cannot cancel a Special Order product once in production. You also told us that you knew more about Perrin and Rowe and that they held stock. If this was the case, why are we waiting up to 12 weeks for them to complete the production of your tap? Its incredibly disappointing that you felt it necessary to put a false, inaccurate review in order to damage our reputation, especially in the current climate when we are all struggling even to just survive!

Going the extra mile

Brilliant, exemplary service, and competitive pricing to boot! I placed an order but didn't realise the quoted delivery time only applied to the fastest, paid option - which meant the item was going to take five days, rather than two.
Richard was patient about explaining the issue and, despite it being my error, then went the extra mile by upgrading my delivery to ensure that we had the sink to match our fitting schedule. Couldn't have asked for more.

Description of sink was BLACK on…

Description of sink was BLACK on website both on drop down options and also on image of item. Only in small
Print was described ‘silvery black.’ Photo looked black and could not be enlarged to see the detail of the colour.
When Sink was received the box read SILVERY BLACK as manufacturers description.
Contacted to ask whether it could be returned and exchanged. They said categorical no. No budging, no movement. Nothing. All by email.
Now left with a postage bill of upwards of 60 pounds because they ‘can not afford to pay it.’ Neither can I! Trying to buy locally to help the economy....
Have then received an email telling me that I am writing untruths and trying to sabotage their business.
I think there needs to be some work done to make sure that the description matches the product so that people don’t feel duped and then left with a product they don’t want yet can’t afford to return. Oh, and maybe don’t email someone to tell them that their review isn’t true!

Super Customer Service

Having ordered a belfast sink but forgetting the plug and waste disposal pipes, I started a chat with sinks-taps.com.
The response from their representative, Richard, was both immediate and helpful. after a couple of further queries from me, Richard ensured a quick sonf successful outcome.
Wouldn't hesitate in recommending them following Richard's excellent performance.

…This is a joke right? You absolute scammers and liars. I have clearly said in my review that I understood paypal did not send you notification of payment (now I think that is a lie) HOWEVER! I emailed you multiple times with no response. When I finally got a reply from your company Richard said ‘I can just put the order on manually’ and asked me to provide the information of what I ordered along with my address and my contact number which to me means everything is fine. At the very least you should have called me if there was a problem seen as though an email is too much trouble(don’t blame covid).

I said in the emails how important it is that I get these sinks ASAP, that was on 22/10/2020 and both items were in stock on that date 9 days after I placed my original order and 7 days after my first email to you so don’t come out with the out of stock excuse. I left you more than enough time to sort my order or contact me, I then even emailed you to say that if you do not have my items its not a problem but just tell me and refund me but you never did.

You are saying you asked Paypal to reverse the payment? Well surprise surprise that’s another lie, after asking you in yet another email on 28/10/20 to either update me or refund me (which of course was ignored) I opened a paypal case against you on 30/10/20 which as of now 22:31 on 08/11/20 is still marked as ‘Waiting for sellers response’ you are lying and I feel stupid for supporting small businesses like yours because you should not be allowed to trade. I said clearly in my emails that I need the sinks on site so my fitter can template/cut the worktops but because of your disgusting treatment I have now lost my slot and have no kitchen at all, given the stress of another lockdown and Christmas coming up I have nothing till the new year.

All you had to do was reply and have the decency to tell me you cannot fulfil my order and it would have saved me a month of chasing you and saved my kitchen along with all the costs I have incurred. The fact you have lied and have the time to police your reviews yet cant find the time to reply to emails and contact your customers proves my point, the gentleman above me (Steven Railton) seems to have had the same problem but of course you must an excuse for that too.

STOP LYING!!! All you had to tell me was that it was out of stock and refund me, instead you had me wasting my time chasing you via emails. I use paypal for everything and every other company from a private seller on ebay to Nike that had an item out of stock managed to refund me immediately so don’t lie, You literally have made my life hell during an already difficult time and the best you can come out with in your reply to me is ‘I feel it is a little unfair that we should receive a negative review’???? not even an attempt to make things right??? the words I really wanted to say to you are not appropriate for this forum…. Do the decent thing, log onto your Paypal, go to our case, own up to your mistake and give me my refund.

I have been trying to contact sinks and taps for several weeks and all communication is ignored. I am owed £120 which should have been paid 2 months ago. No response to emails or phone calls. Even the threat of a small claims submission hasn't prompted a response.

Totally unacceptable, but seems there is nothing I can do.

Dear Steven. The last email you received from us was on the 30th October confirming a full refund would be completed. The refund was provided late but this was due to a genuine problem with a lack of Accounts staff and a massive backlog. I can only apologise that your refund was completed about 7-10 days later than expected. I have advised the remaining staff that no matter how difficult the circumstances and the size of their workload, it is incredibly important that they put our Customers first, before anything else. Again, apologies for delay and I hope we have not caused you and your family additional stress in these incredibly difficult times.

Great service and great product

Great service and great product. Surprised and disappointed I had to pay for next day delivery as I had ordered another tap (cheaper tap) from a different company the day before and paid nothing for next day delivery.

Great after sales service!

Hello I just want to say THANK -YOU! for your assistance in dealing with my broken tap. Covid-19 was the curve ball, no one was expecting. Although I would have preferred to speak with someone, I have found the chat service to be prompt and efficient. Following some emails, the faulty tap was collected and has now been replaced. The delivery service was first class. I think can often tell a lot about a company, if the after sales service is just as good as the initial sales. I am pleased to say the issue has now been resolved. I am delighted to say: "This is a great example of how service should be." 😊

BEWARE - Avoid at all costs

Ordered a sink and tap from this company on 24th August 2020 for my 86 year old mothers kitchen refurbishment. Items were delivered to my mother’s house. The courier carried them into my mum’s house as she is frail and the items remained untouched
there until 24th September 2020.

My wife is in the government shielding group so we were not able to take delivery or check whether items were ok

The kitchen fitter rang me that morning to say that when he removed part of the packaging he found that the composite sink was split in half.

I straight away contacted sink-taps.com and was met with the reply that I should have checked the item within three days and no replacement or refund would be forthcoming as I probably damaged the sink myself. I was emailed by a customer service member who basically told me to take or leave it.

Without doubt this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
We are £140 out of pocket I have had to order another sink for a little more money from a reputable company.

PLEASE AVOID

Dear Mr Rumley

The product you ordered was a fragile product that needed to be shipped on a specialist pallet service. On the email advising of the delivery date (sent two days in advance) it was made very clear the product had to be inspected whilst the driver was still there and that NO CLAIMS could be made once the goods had been accepted. If the date was not convenient or the address needed to be changed, this was all advised as being possible.

Instead, you decided (without the knowledge of anyone else) that you would let your 86 year old mother accept the delivery and be responsible for inspecting the goods.

Im afraid that as we will always try and do our very best to resolve any issues, the fact that you ignored all instructions and let someone else accept and sign for the goods, meant it was impossible for us to get the delivery company to agree to a claim.

An email is sent out before delivery advising of the need to accept. a large sticker on the top of sink says DO NOT ACCEPT unless you have checked. Our terms and conditions on the order also again state this. I'm really not sure how much more we can do to tell customers to simply open a box and check it before you accept?

I'm sorry you were not happy with the service you received, I have genuinely looked at the whole process and feel we could not have done more But I am still sorry that we have not met your expectations and that you fell we could have done more for you.
