I had a poor service from one of the engineers from Spin Doctor. The washing machine is leaking I couldn’t figure out what went wrong. I called them for a quick repair for £118. The engineer turned up and pulled out the integrated washing machine. He claimed there is a hole in the drum and beyond economical repair. The washing machine has been working for 3 years and I asked how it could possibly get damaged with a big hole in the drum. The response I got was “wear and tear”.

After the engineer left, I investigated the leak from the washing machine. I noticed the leak comes with the hose pipe connected to the washing machine. I tested the machine on a drain cycle for 10 minutes and no leak coming out from the machine. I sent the video of the leaking hose pipe while the washing machine is working. I rang them to have it replaced.

Sadly, the woman on the phone insisted the drum is damaged and beyond economical repair and refuse to send any man to replace to leaking hose pipe.

This is not what I expected. Totally unprofessional, nothing resolved and money wasted.

To be fair, I had used spin doctor before and it wasn’t as bad as this. But when there’s a problem, they refuse to acknowledge it and fix it.

I saw Spin Dr on google and decided to call them to fix my oven. Booked appointment online. Kieran from Stevenage arrived 07:59 sharp and check and fixed the oven. I wanted to throw the oven but now I have an oven for the next 10 yrs. Service and repair from booking to finish 5 star review. I highly definitely recommend SPIN SOCTOR. Thank you so much.

Great service. Quick response and friendly employee. My husband called him ‘hero of the day’. Arrived under 2 hours after we called and all fixed within an hour

I do not recommend this company. They do not apologize, they do not say sorry. They simply threatens unhappy customers by taking legal actions against you if you do not remove feedback. According to them, they are false. Your advice will be used against you. In the form they were informed about parking issue. It did not help after 15 minutes the engineer left and did not show up. They still charge you half price.

Absolutely atrocious service! Charged £95 for someone (who granted was very nice) to come and tell me my washing machine wasn’t spinning because it’s being overloaded. He said any further issues they will reattend at no charge. A day or two following the visit the machine will only spin if there is no more than 7 items in the machine. Clearly there is a fault as this is not normal for a 9kg machine. Tried to reach spin doctor again to be told they’ll speak to the engineer and then rather than calling me to ask questions they send multiple texts back and forth. I have young children at home and keeping on top of texts is not a priority. After giving up with the constant repeated questions I asked for my money back to receive a call from the rudest man (Scott) I’ve ever had to speak to from a company. He told me I’m not angry with them I’m angry with the machine, no I’m angry that I’ve paid you nearly £100 to basically do nothing and not diagnose a problem when there clearly is one. He had a constant attitude on the phone, much like the ladies in the office, which got my back up royally. He said they needed to ask questions and I repeated that I keep telling them the issue and getting the same questions back. His response was “and how hard was it for you to respond”. We ended up in a heated argument which woke my baby up and again he says “oh I suppose that’s my fault too is it?” I again asked for my money back and he said you’re not getting it back and I proceeded to hang up. No fix, unnecessary stress and as a property manager of 25 years there are people far more capable and polite to deal with your problem. Use this company if you like setting your money on fire.

I will remove this review if I receive my money back but hope plenty of people see it in the meantime.

Top quality repair from Scott. Came a day earlier than planned, called to make sure I was about. Diagnosed and fixed the machine in a matter of minutes. Relocated the integrated machine back to its original location and left no mess. Proper professional, would highly recommend.

Great experience with Spin Doctor. Our LG washing machine was repaired in the call out visit with a new pump replaced. The technician Scott had correctly guessed that this was the issue and had the replacement item with him. Highly recommended.

Had Scott out today would highly recommend him, very professional and helpful making sure I understood what was happening.

I don't recommend this service. A man came and damaged a piece of furniture.
I told him to change only what needs to be changed and then he can be free but somehow he didn't hear me or i don't know. He took my towels which i use for polishing the spoons and forks and wiped the floor after this he put them back 🤯 i was shocked when i found out. He put the washing machine to hide that he broke the cabinet. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed. He could say in the beginning what he needs and i would provide him with everything.

Oh how I wish all companies were like this, easy to deal with, clear , concise and great communication. Prompt engineer, who knew his stuff, diagnosed both machines faults quickly, didn't try and sell a new machine with that famous fast intake of breath over the teeth.
All in all a fantastic experience, well done Spin Doctor and thank you

The service was impeccable from start to finish! I called and they prioritised me for the next day as I have a toddler and a small baby so have a large amount of laundry. They fixed my washing machine very quickly and for a reasonable price. Highly recommend

Phil was very professional and friendly and was able to fix my washing machine after listening to the problem. He was efficient and knowledgeable and I would definitely use Spin Doctor again!

I've used these guys before, rang to ask if the door seal on my washer dryer could be replaced as its gone mouldy. Didn't even need to give my name and address, they already had it on their system. Rang on Tuesday, new door seal fitted on Thursday. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you guys!

When Spindoctor's engineer first visited, they hastily diagnosed the issue as just the air duct without thoroughly testing the machine's dryer. After their departure, it became apparent that the problem persisted. Despite our complaint, their second visit resulted in a hasty suggestion to replace the entire machine without proper examination. Skeptical of their competence, we sought assistance from another company, who efficiently resolved the issue by simply replacing the fan unit.

Trusting Spindoctor's engineer would have led to unnecessary expenditure of £800-£1000 on a new machine for a minor fault in our perfectly functional 2-year-old appliance. Despite bringing this to their attention, they have shown no willingness to acknowledge their lack of expertise or offer a refund. Their disregard for accountability and customer satisfaction is appalling.

Very prompt, same-day service - for a different machine to the one last month. As last time: extremely good in all respects.

The Tumble dryer went Tom dick and I contacted Spin Doctor. Within 24hrs a nice man called Phil fixed the tumble dryer. This then prompted us to buy a washing machine from Spin Doctor which is arriving 02/01/2024. THANKYOU Joolz.
