If you’re looking for an abusive experience, told that you’re poor because the woman in the shop lives on the Peak and that you are cheap then head on over to Stockroom.
We travelled all the way to KTown to buy some kids furniture from them. They quoted us the wrong price (added almost 1/3 more than the online cost), couldn’t work out their own iPads and then got my personal information mixed up with another customer. The service was beyond awful and when I told her for the 3rd time what I wanted (1 table and 2 chairs) she practically barked at me and kicked us out of the shop (and then told us we were cheap for where we lived and that she was rich because she lived on the Peak).
The website and social media is absolutely beautiful, the shop itself is a dingy little room full of dusty furniture laced with vodka bottles. You can buy everything from Taobao, DO NOT go there!!! They did me a massive favour and we couldn’t leave fast enough!!!

If I could give The Stockroom minus zero stars I would. What started as a pleasant experience with a very attentive male shop attendant and a successful purchase turned into a RUDE, extremely aggressive experience upon delivery of goods (table and 4 chairs) 6 weeks later. The delivery men were hurried, anxious to leave and not happy when I noticed that the furniture was not what we actually ordered. I called The Stockroom store and was met with immediate abuse, including being called a ‘f****** b****’ 7 times and the woman hoping my husband would leave me and I was an ‘expat f*****’, after only asking if I could exchange the table which was clearly not what we ordered. After 15 minutes of being screamed at (I recorded the conversation and did advise the woman who proclaimed to be the manager) and me just trying to explain I wanted merely to exchange not refund, she agreed to refund all the money and the delivery men angrily removed all furniture. The refund was paid in full after 7 days but the experience was vile, extremely unnecessary and over the top abusive. I went to TREE the next day and bought everything I needed in a pleasant space, amazing customer service before and after delivery and also amazing delivery men. I have since discovered that the reviews and feedback from friends and online about The Stockroom have all been poor. Wish I had seen the reviews before waiting 6 weeks to have the incorrect furniture delivered and of such poor low factory quality. I highly recommend TREE.

Disappointed with my recent experience with Stockroom Hong Kong.
I purchased dining chairs as part of a HK$17,290 order. The day they were delivered (3 June), I immediately emailed Stockroom to raise concerns about the colour and asked how the issue could be resolved.
After several days of back-and-forth, my return was refused because:
• The return period had expired.
• The original packaging was unavailable.
The frustrating part is that the packaging had been removed by Stockroom's own delivery team as part of the paid unpacking service.
I raised the issue on the day of delivery, yet the return was denied after their review process had taken place.
Very disappointing customer service and handling of a genuine customer concern.

yes they have great selection of nice furniture but the service was the worst experience I've ever had in Hong Kong.
I once bought a full set of very cute dining table and chairs, but a nail was sticking out of one of the seat, so I took it back for repair. The female manager wouldn't help me, and in the end, she kicked me out of the store, even threatening to call the police if I didn't leave.

hope this was only one incident involving a bad sales manager(or one of the lady owner)

Avoid at all cost.

Questionable "5-stars" on Google search and elsewhere. Taobao / Temu quality and horrible customer service. Wouldn't be surprised if they source from Temu and resell them. Key component was missing and they never resolved it. I end up buying the part from Amazon. This is a shop targeting expats in Hong Kong who don't know how to shop on Taobao.

At least Taobao has better product return policy. Avoid. 0/5

Horrible sales and customer service. Bought a floor lamp, it was delivered with a defect on the lamp shade - called the shop within 5 minutes of the delivery, even offered to show them a picture of the defect but the shop sales told us it’s not there responsibility as it has been delivered already and they will not do anything about it. Now we are stuck with a hkd2500 lamp with a crease. Never buy from this shop. The sales and owners are absolutely irresponsible and have a very bad attitude.

I had a very good experience with this company overall. I visited their showroom to look at the furniture and they were friendly and helpful and helped me order. It is true that their delivery schedule process is quite strict and once you commit to a date it seems a bit hard to change.. you may go to the back of the queue. But they were happy to work around my unavailabilities. On the day of delivery the staff called me before to let me know the time, and were friendly and efficient. They easily dealt with some strange rules in my building about deliveries.. no complaining or arguing. The lead guy spoke enough English to communicate well with me. The furniture is great.. so overall a fine experience.

They source the cheapest products on Taobao and resell them. We purchased 4 Jacobsen-inspired dining chairs in March 2023. One of them fell apart less than 3 weeks after purchasing, and now we lost the other one: the seat just went on its own journey from the legs and the other two chairs are shaking suspiciously. Considering every member of our family is below 80 kg and not performing any other activities other than sitting, the longevity of the product is questionable.

My new Windsor bed is super sturdy! The solid oak finish has such a beautiful grain that makes it look way more expensive than it was - it gives the whole room a nice lift.

I ordered items in late September as I wanted a memento of my time in Hong Kong, with the intent of adding these to my overseas shipping container. Unfortunately, the items took almost a month to arrive and missed the shipment. I arranged for collection anyway at my own expense as I was told I would be charged holding fees on the website.

After trying to give away or sell the items I then contacted Stockroom to return them (all new still in box). Only to be told they don't take returns (counter to their vague returns policy). The after purchase customer service has been awful, with dismissive bordering on rude staff.

Despite its reputation I regret ever buying from this company and am disappointed by the whole experience at an already very stressful time.

I recently purchased a sofa from Stockroom and was initially impressed by the attentive service during my visit to their showroom. Unfortunately, that positive experience seemed to end once payment was made.

Despite informing them well in advance of my limited availability due to work and travel commitments, I received no updates until just days before my preferred delivery date—only to be told it wasn’t possible. This left me scrambling to arrange for a friend to open my flat and receive the delivery in my absence.

While the sofa looked promising at first, I was disappointed to discover that after just two days of very light use, the stitching on the ottoman began to unravel. I reached out to Stockroom expecting a straightforward resolution, but was told that since the issue wasn’t identified at the time of delivery, they wouldn’t address it. Following that, my calls and emails were ignored entirely.

Overall, the quality of both the product and the post-sale service fell short of expectations. I’m left feeling disappointed and will not be returning to Stockroom for future purchases.

I had purchased 8 items all wood from this store. After 1 month in a temperature and humidity controlled environment I had 3 deep cracks appearing on the dinning table that was meant to be solid oak. I was told to fix it myself when I asked if the wood was dry when it was sealed. Poor workmanship and customer service.

I ordered a dining table from this place. After 10 days of use the polish started coming off. I emailed them to complaint on 15th April and till today ie 26th April, no one got back to me, even though I send them a reminder email backed by a phone call. I feel so cheated that for a genuine complaint , this is how they treat a customer. Just look at the peeling polish from the dining table which I paid thousands for. Such poor treatment of a person. And even poorer product quality.

Long purchase process full of misleading information at the decision making process and Stockroom's selfish requests after decision making until delivery, without considering customer satisfaction.

Delivery time much longer than the guidance provided at the beginning. Required information for delivery was too long, less responsive and repetitive just protecting their benefits without any touch to customer benefits/rights. Product look is ok but the quality less than expected.

Urgent need for a professional in the Company that favors customer satisfaction.

I bought the Deacon solid wood TV cabinet, and it's exceeded my expectations. The wood quality is excellent, and it looks great in my living room. The price was very competitive for a such a high quality product.

Bought a sofa, we pre gave them the size of the lift which they approved.

They then delivered half a sofa fine. Then while delivering the other half of the sofa,
they managed to break down the lift and wanted us to pay an extra 300$ to take it up the stairs. Claiming the guards downstairs told them the lift was faulty already. How did they manage to get the first half up then if it was faulty??? Ridiculous. Never again would I buy from them. And reading reviews here and social media I now regret my decision. Also many of their 5 star Google reviews were written by staff and also by the owner (Ms. lam). Very unethical.

Please stay away with this shop. Scam company! The coffee table I got delivered doesn’t match the pictures on their website, some of the design detail is hidden. Instead of give me the right product, they said they would offer their legal team to me. Very disappointing experience!

Stockroom is an excellent online furniture platform in Hong Kong that provide high quality various style sofa with reasonable pricing. My new L-Shape sofa was just delivered and I am very happy with it. It is worth to explore it if you are looking sofa for your house.
