Not the easiest to top-up sadly
Not the easiest to top-up sadly. I purchased a sim card to use whilst travelling, and didn't require another contract. Unfortunately when trying to top up online on my phone I had to download specific browsers, which for this day in age is honestly insane - but it wouldn't work any other way and customer service advised google, or google chrome didn't display the accounts and thus many people were experiencing the same issues. I don't have time to faff around with different browsers, so sadly wont continue using.

futile registration friction
I bought the SIM via superdrug.
But instead of automatically connect that to superdrugmobile, you email a link to "pair" between the two (email title "Sign Up Token").
This is futile. Do it yourself. In addition, also connect the 'Health & Beautycard Number' automatically (now one needs to do it himself). Both are pointless friction.
The worse part is that the "Sign Up Token" email went to the spam. And I could not understand why I cannot access superdrugmobile.
Make a long story short:
instead of removing friction, you add futile registration steps

Michael was absolutely fantastic to me
Michael was absolutely fantastic to me. He explained everything clearly and repetitive as I was so confused and stressed. He stayed with me ages until I resolved the renewal problem. He then went further out of his way to tell me to contact my back with an issue I had with my card which I wasn’t even aware of. Overall I have been really happy with Superdrug network. Today was so stressful trying to renew. I was going to leave and go else where but once the agent changed to Michael he worked out the problem (which was my card) and got my phone up and running again.

Switched to S.M during Covid as saw the offers and decided they were better than my current tariff on Giffgaff. I get unlimited everything for £16 a month. Most of the time it works well for me. Always have good customer service. Only issue is sometimes the signal drops. 8/10.
