This is the second time I have employed Talbots to deal with housing matters which goes right back to when they were Tanfields (Dudley). They are an excellent firm, trustworthy and very diligent. I particularly want to express my thanks to Francesca Goga who was very efficient throughout. She explained legal matters to me in language that I could understand and gave very honest assessments of any potential difficulties. Her communication skills were excellent throughout. She was very ably assisted by Megan Hartley who was a great help. They both played their part in ensuring that the whole process was completed efficiently and with the minimum of problems. They didn’t respond to all my communication. Quickly There were some delays in some responses but when it came down to the final few weeks, everything was fantastic.

Good communication and very helpful during the whole process of selling my house.

It has now been 4 years to the day since my father died. Talbot's have still not resolved his will / estate. What little communication we get barely makes sense. Requests for explanation go unanswered, despite being sent multiple times. Most of the time we receive no communication at all. The solicitor in charge of the will, R Thomas, keeps giving us different dates for when everything will be resolved, but then when he misses his own deadlines he refuses to explain or apologise. My official complaint to Talbot's about the treatment we've received was just brushed off. There is an official complaint in with the Ombudsman, which will probably get resolved before my father's will does. Avoid Talbot's at all costs.

I've dealt with Talbots during the last few years on four separate matters (Divorce, Child Arrangements, Conveyancing and Employment Contractual Exit) and they have provided an excellent service every time. Their staff are friendly, knowledgeable and supportive especially during difficult circumstances. Their fees were reasonable and they went above and beyond at times to help deliver. A personal thank you to Kelly Perks and Sidrah Wallima for their efforts on the above matters.
