The overall experience was pretty good
The overall experience was pretty good. Was unfortunate that we had to be evacuated due to the alarms going off, the team acted quickly and safely. Unfortunately for us our pizza had just been delivered so wasn’t ideal. Two of the children didn’t want it after that, I didn’t want to complain as was too busy. The gentleman who checked us in was very accommodating. He gave us time to make sure all of our group had arrived. Very helpful when we had a minor problem using the scoring computer. We enjoyed a lovely family outing.

Nice venue, rude staff
I visited this bowling venue recently as part of an anniversary booking. The venue itself has clearly been improved and expanded since my last visit. It is a much larger space now and I really liked the addition of the pool tables and the overall upgraded layout.
However, unfortunately the experience at reception really affected our visit. From the moment we arrived and mentioned our booking, the staff member we dealt with came across as quite rude and unwelcoming. There was no smile or basic friendliness, and the tone felt quite negative throughout the interaction.
I do understand that staff may be busy or having a difficult moment, but it wasn’t particularly busy at the time we arrived or when we left, so it was disappointing. It made us feel quite uncomfortable and honestly took away from what should have been a nice occasion.
We are not teenagers or a disruptive group, so it felt unnecessary to be made to feel unwelcome. If we hadn’t already pre-booked, I likely would have gone elsewhere.
Overall, the venue itself is good and has improved, but the customer service at reception really let the experience down. I’m not sure I would return based on this experience.

Always enjoy bowling at Tenpin
Always enjoy bowling at Tenpin, it's a nice venue with a variety of entertainment options. Staff ard friendly (especially Imagen). We had the half term deal with burgers and 2x games of bowling which was great value. This review would of had 5 stars, however we were placed on the new section of lanes (Lane 20) which was like a wind tunnel with the air con on full blast, and I felt outside by the coast during a storm.
