Great Venue, Poor Service
The girl on soft play was amazing and very helpful. I couldn't fault her and she went above an beyond to assist us when the party we booked turned into a bit of a shambles.
Everything else was really disappointing.
Service incredibly slow at the bar. Laser tag party started over half an hour late despite all attendees arriving 15 minutes early as advised. This resulted in food being brought out over an hour after we planned, meaning 3 children went home hungry as they had to leave before it came out.
Most of the pizzas were burnt to the point we could not tell which was pepperoni and which was cheese. And our only dairy free child had to wait 20 minutes longer than his friends for a portion of chicken nuggets despite me chasing it up 3 times.
We ended up having to pay for 27 children to go into soft play so they weren't sat around for 45 minutes with nothing to do at a party (they are 6 & 7 years old).
Kids had a great time but were all complaining they were hungry (the party was after school on a Friday) and despite the long delay we were told it wasn't an option for the food to come out before because they were still dealing with the previous party.
Very stressful for the parents!
Would never book a party here again, despite the venue being brilliant and having everything you need, the service, time keeping and food really let it down.

We were a group of seasoned escape room…
We were a group of seasoned escape room players and I'm sorry to say this was probably the least satisfactory experience we have ever had. There was clearly a lack of staff, with patchy communication within the room, including staff repeatedly telling us we had to go back and do something we had already done. There was supposed to be a live action element but we never reached it, as we failed to find something that clearly wasn't there and after reluctantly "giving up" were told we had forfeited the game.
I suspect they didn't have the staff to fulfill the live action element of the game, so just didn't place the needed item at all, meaning we had no chance of reaching that part. Deeply unsatisfactory.
Shame because the place seemed well appointed and the game theme was pretty good. Just shows you that the staff really are crucial to the experience. Props to the guy for brazening out this solution to their staffing issue, I guess, but pretty outrageous really. We'll chalk it down to experience and laugh about it later, but felt short-changed won't be recommending to others.

Came along with 5 children and there were so many big kids in there storming around, knocking children over. It was stressful.
The place itself is amazing, it's just a shame about the older children

I pre booked the bowling for 15 people. When arriving I went to the desk where the member of staff wasn’t the best welcoming, I was directed to my lanes, which was shocking to see each lane was left messy and unclean from the last users. It’s very disappointing considering I had pre booked! I had to ask 2 members of staff to get it cleaned up which one said she would be back and never returned and so the lad was left to do it by himself.

Past 3 times I have gone here there has…
Past 3 times I have gone here there has been a problem, the recent one was yesterday, I started playing and 3 bowls into our game we got replaced, the staff don’t seem to care about their customers and are usually rude. We had to wait another 10 mins for another lane as the staff think certain customers are more important. Very disappointing.

Was not explained that there was a max…
Was not explained that there was a max of 6 players to a lane, as there was 7 in our group we had to have 2 lanes. One of the screens was not working, no staff near the lanes, had to walk to the other end of the building to get resolved. Toilets also positioned quite a distance from the bowling lanes.
Ordered food via the qr code, wrong food delivered, drinks didn’t arrive.

Shocking
Shocking, staff didn’t care, service was slow, machines not working, darts wasn’t working some of the time, dirty plates and glasses everywhere. Had to clean up our bowling lane from the previous people. Food took ages to come out, ordered drinks through the app, absolutely pointless as had to go up to the bar to get them. Machines not printing tickets, machine broken to count your tickets. Machines just a blatant scam for like 10 secs of play for a quid. Yeah won’t be going back anytime soon.
