Not been here for a few years - found the interior really too hot to be comfortable - must have been mid/late 20s but felt like mid 30s! If they had air con it certainly wasn’t switched on! Also now... Voir plus

Bowling was great, age verification not so great.
Bowling was great. The only downside was the refusal of a staff member to accept our 23 yr old grandson's Dutch residency permit as proof of age, even though it showed his photo and date of birth in English. She said initially that she couln't accept it because it was not British ( which she quickly retracted and gave some other spurious reason). He had flown in specifically for our family gathering so this soured the day somewhat.

Staffing level issues
Although everthing was ok with the bowling - big issue was staffing. Felt so sorry for them as it was so busy and only one girl serving the main bar and one serving the drinks via qr code. Waiting ages which meant we nearly went over time.
They did so well under the pressure but people were not nice to them,

Escape room could be better
Booking was super easy and the escape room and pizza worked out to be a great deal for my son’s birthday. The escape room itself was OK. It don’t seem to flow and there were a couple of tasks that either didn’t work properly or we were told ‘ignore that picture, it doesn’t look like that now’. Friendly and helpful staff though. Just would recommend an update of the RMS Titanic escape room.

Power cut stopped play, waiting for refund
We pre booked a game for mothers day for 2pm. When we arrived we were told the electric had been off all morning but had just come on and we would be able to enter soon. After around 15 mins we were let in. We bought a round of drinks and went down to start bowling, after the first ball the lane stopped working. We were then changed to a different lane but before we could start the electric went off again. After around 20 mins they said we would all have to go outside. They took all our numbers to ring us when they could. We then left. I recieved a phone call from them on Monday asking if I wanted to rebook or have a refund. I opted for a refund. It is now Wednesday afternoon and no sign of my money back yet.
