We had a brilliant night bowling. The place had just finished being done up and looks and feels amazing. Clean tidy and super fun. Lots to do too not just bowling. Something for all the family. Drink good. Friendly staff. All seemed happy

Enjoyable
Easy, relaxed enjoyable time. Great facilities and the improvements are visibly impressive. The lay out is much better. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were great.

We booked online and ordered food at…
We booked online and ordered food at the same time. When we arrived they asked if we wanted it straight away, we said yes, we had played both games before the food came out afyer askig twice for it!
The staff were really nice though.
We then did laser, the new system wasn't working properly so while they were sorting it out they gave us the table tennis bats to play table tennis free while we were waiting.
The staff were very nice.

Great family get together for a fun evening. Very helpful member of staff. So much better now for wheelchairs access getting to the lanes without any steps.

I have a ten year old who wanted to go in the new softplay that just opened and she is 1cm to tall and it is for up to 12 years old so how can a 12 12 year old be under 1.40cm if a 10 year old isn't it should be like 1.45cm

Good experience
Easy to book on-line. Newly revamped interior provided a clean and fresh appearance. Only downside was the music was intrusively loud.

Impromptu visit to Tenpin
I had an impromptu visit to Tenpin last night. Really impressed with the refresh. Fantastic attentive staff and great few games of bowling.
Staff are a credit to the organisation and I will return.

Great bowling but far too loud
We really love bowling and the new additions you are making to our local Tenpin Bowling.
However, during our last visit, some of the arcade machines were so loud, one of our party had to leave, and it spoilt our game.
I know and understand its a busy place and everyone is there to have fun, I am in no way wanting to stop that, but please please do consider the noise pollution from these games, think one was Fast and Furious, as it really overwhelmed what we were doing, and no doubt others too.

Minimum amount of £5 far too high
Too noisy, background music not necessary. Grandparents take grandchildren and it is very uncomfortable with the extra noise.
Dislike new minimum amount of £5 to play on machines. Too much!!!! We should be able to choose how much we spend.

Bowling was good price for bowling was good. We paid best part of £55 for food and it was very disappointing. Both pizzas we rock hard and not very nice and chips were rock hard also.
Would return for bowling but would not eat. Domino’s would have been cheaper and better

Booked online and were able to bowl
When we arrived. Did arrive earlier than lane booking and had to wait to check in- think they were short staffed - but everyone was doing their best and it did not affect us. Renovation works going on at present but it did feel roomier than before (glad to see the back of the Covid screens!).

The staff were nice and friendly and although there was major construction work going on at the venue it didn’t impede our play. The York Tenpin is amazingly priced and we got two bowling games for half the price of your Leeds venue.
