Jason Dixon came round to inspect the damage to the drain but more than that he took the time to explain what he was doing and why and what the next steps would be.
Courteous and polite he is a great ambassador for Thames Water.
Ongoing saga of delays caused by Thames Water that have delayed me from fixing a leak (see my previous reviews if of interest). Having fixed a leak and informed TW of this, I received an email today from Daniel Crowley stating "Since confirming you’ve completed the repair, I’ve updated our CSL team, who’ve confirmed the planned Section 75 repair will be reviewed rather than progressed". Today, the same day, I came home to find another threatening letter from TW stating "we must now take action to resolve this ourselves... we now intend to use our powers under Section 75". Clearly the CSL team has not been updated and there is no communication internally between the departments. I have fixed a leak, submitted a compliance certificate, replaced a lead pipe. Other than via trust pilot I literally do not know how to inform TW of this because they don't align any communications between the different departments.
I am also highly suspicious of the 5 star reviews on this site given my experience and the fact that many of the 5 star reviews are from people who have never posted on trust pilot before and some appear to be based in the US according to their location.
Very helpful and professional service.
Our engineer, Allan, arrived promptly and did a thorough job of clearing the blockage and explaining what had caused it.

Had the sewer line cleaned today and Darren the operator did a superb job spending over 5 hours clearing the debris. Unbelievable to see what came out of the sewer line.

The 4-way traffic light system is a death trap. Lights are either not working or being ignored, leading to lorries and cars facing off in the same lane. This is happening right next to a school, yet there is no effort from the contractors to manage the flow or ensure public safety.
Thames Water seems to care as little about public safety as they do about the environment. This site is an unprofessional mess that requires urgent HSE intervention before an accident occurs.
Get a grip before someone gets hurt!

We realised that the drains were blocked and that the problem was with one of our neighbours
We contacted Thames Water at 10:54 on Sunday and received a text at 01:08 Monday morning to say that the blockage had been cleared

Thames Water charges high prices while delivering very little value. Many customers see it as a company that has lost accountability, offering poor service and rising bills with no clear improvement. Do not ask for my personal details.

I reported my blockage on Sunday to a very helpful man called Harry. Today Farooq came and cleared the blockage. He was very polite. Called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. He made sure everything was kept safe while he worked and left the place clean and tidy. Very good experience.

I reported a blockage and Thames water came within 2/3 hours.
Johnny was on site on time and quickly found the resolved the issue.
He also fixed the problem for the downstairs flat who also raise separately the blockage.

Guy's knew what they were doing. Cleared the blockage - actually bothered to use the water jets. Also scraped out the drain seating so cover was now flush.

Engineer Ben W arrived at our property at midnight we found him polite and very approachable.
The work he carried out was 10/10, he got on with the task ahead of him leaving my husband and I very relieved.
Ben W is a credit to the company he works for, nice guy with loads of knowledge and doesn’t mess about.
