The Advanced Group 

I contacted this company six months ago about a window their installer said was faulty and needed to be replaced. I’ve phoned them regularly regarding the faulty window and have always been told that they were waiting on stock arriving, I phoned again three weeks ago to be told that stock had arrived and that after they checked it one of their staff would phone me to arrange a date for installation. I’m still waiting on a phone call.

Just moved into an old house in the Highlands. There were a lot of single glaze windows and they were able to come in and fit triple glazing. The work was really well done and the job wasn't the most straightforward. They know their trade, and I would/probably will hire them again.

The Advanced Group have just installed 2 doors and 8 windows to my home .From the first contact with James in sales to the completion took 18 days .

Very happy with our new windows, porch and conservatory re-glass provided by Advanced Group. Sales process was simple with James giving us great advice. Install by John and Kieran was flawless where they fitted acoustic glass upstairs and triple glazing downstairs, what a difference. Whole process ran smoothly and delivered on time with no surprises. Highly recommended.

We recently had Triple Glazing fitted by The Advanced Group after they were recommended by a friend.
The guys did a fantastic job.
We had gone away for a couple of days while they fitted the windows/doors & when we got back they had tidied up so well there was hardly a trace of them.
The Triple Glazing has made a huge difference to the warmth in the house.
They really do deserve a 5 star rating.

From the first phone call to installation, all the staff operated in a very friendly professional manner and delivered exactly what they said they would. The 2 fitters worked non-stop, cleared up as they went and ensured we were happy before they left. Delighted with service and products. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

We have just had windows, back door and dormer facing’s replaced by John and Kieran. Cannot fault the work they have done from start to finish. Everything was cleaned up right at the back of them there was no mess left inside or outside very high standard of work. Once work was complete we were always asked if we were happy with what had been done. They were both very approachable. Even in bad weather conditions they were always very high spirited and keen to give the highest standard of working. I think Advance Group should feel privileged to have two very skilled work men in John and Kieran who represent their company very well. If I were to ever use the company in the future I would be requesting these two workmen again

We have just had windows and a front door fitted, including the facings around two dormers. From the first visit from Stephen, to the last of the dust hoovered up, our experience with Advanced Group has been terrific. The fitters worked quickly and efficiently, and the quality of the work is excellent. Everything was handled without a fuss and our windows are in within a month of that first quotation.
We are impressed with the price and grateful to the friendly and helpful office staff.

Would highly recommend the Advanced Group(Scotland) for new windows. From my first enquiry to the finished product I was treated kindly and with respect. All options for new windows were explained.
The two fitters Richard and John were exceptional. They arrived early and only stopped once for a quick lunch. They used floor coverings and dust sheets and hoovered up after they had finished. The windows look fabulous and we’re looking forward to a warmer winter in the flat. Many thanks to the whole team.

We had a new front door fitted and the fitter noticed a flaw on one of the glass panels which was reported immediately. The office kept us updated and he returned to fit the replacement panel within a week. Our door looks fabulous.

Cannot recommend The Advanced group enough. We decided to get French doors fitted and the service was amazing from start to finish. So professional, so tidy, no mess left whatsoever and the finish was excellent. 5 stars!

Decided to renew our back of house windows, Robert and John turned up, on time, were very professional, covered everything in the rooms to be done, when they left, the windows were beautifully installed, you would hardly have known they had been, the place was left so clean and tidy. Decided to renew our front windows, requested the same people, and once again an immaculate job was completed 3 weeks ago. Love my new windows.

Please avoid at all costs. 3 months in, innumerous workers and visits and no further forwards. Poor finish, no attention to detail and a couldn’t care less attitude. Unsure how I attach images but the state of, the, window they were contracted to install is shocking.

Had 10 windows and 2 doors installed over 3 days by John and Kieran, friendly guys and absolutely great at what they do, tidied up each day and the standard of work was excellent. More than happy to recommend.

We had the lovely siobhan cone out to us and help us choose the perfect door. Siobhan was very knowledgeable on all the products available.

Fitting was very quick. Fityers cleaned up after themselves. You would never know they had been there.

A couple of issues with the door the next day, but was resolved with an hour of reporting.

OK, now 20 plus weeks since install and having had no response from Advanced to either this review or my follow-up email to them (which I know they have received), this rating is now as low as it can get. If you are reading this you are a discerning prospective customer who knows that it sometimes pays to take the bad with the good, so keep monitoring this review - there may be a few things more about the Advanced Group offering that you might want to be aware of before signing on the dotted line.

If this review were solely on the performance of the Advanced Sales and Installation teams, the rating would be 5 stars. However, add in the performance of Advanced’s Customer Service and Maintenance teams, the rating would, at most, be 1 star so, in the interests of fairness to the overall company, I’ve gone for the median 3 stars – for the moment!

Placed an order for 6 windows (comprising of 16 glazed units) on 4th March ’24. Sales and ordering process was streamlined and efficient with windows ordered up and installed 3 weeks later on 22nd and 23rd March by the Installation team of Sean and David who worked through all sorts of weather to complete the job. Whilst the work done by these guys was excellent, there were some issues with the product – primarily scratched glazing units and some mechanical issues with the operation of several of the windows.

Fast forward four months to time of writing and, in the interim, following several emails and phone calls to Advanced’s Customer Service and Maintenance teams, two separate inspections by Advanced surveyors and now some 18 weeks since install, am still waiting for replacement of 7 glazed units due to scratches in the glass and attention to the mechanical issues.

Considering that the initial process from beginning to end was completed within 3 weeks, it is somewhat galling that, 18 weeks later, the replacement units and mechanical issues have still not been addressed.

Moral of the story: If you do decide to go with Advanced for your windows and there are issues, be prepared to be on their backs - which is where I’m now going to be until my issues are resolved.

I am delighted by the quality of the windows fitted by Kevin and Alan last week. The chaps did an excellent job and left my home neat and tidy. It’s always so pleasant to observe tradesmen who take a pride in their work. Cannot recommend The Advance Group highly enough.
