While booking the trip, your team made a lot of promises. One of my basic requirements, being from South India, was that the driver should at least understand and speak a little English so we could communicate comfortably. Your team assured us that this would be taken care of. However, we ended up with a driver who could not understand even a single word of English, while we could not understand Hindi either. Imagine how difficult and stressful that makes a 6-day trip experience.

We were also told that the driver would act as a guide and explain the places we visited, but he hardly spoke throughout the trip. On top of that, most of our travel times were 12–14 hours, including night journeys, and the driver would not allow us to sleep, saying that if we slept, he might also fall asleep and it could lead to an accident. This made the journey extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.

Another major disappointment was customer support. During booking, Travelocat claimed they would be “just a call away” throughout the trip. In reality, most of our calls went unanswered, and even when someone responded, our concerns were not addressed properly.

Overall, this has been a very disappointing and uncaring experience with Travelocat. Initially, they may appear competitive while booking, but in the end, the trip becomes more expensive than going with a reliable travel company because we ended up paying extra at almost every place we visited.

If you are from South India, I would strongly advise against booking a trip with Travelocat unless you are comfortable handling severe language and coordination issues throughout your journey.

I can name the people who made these false promises, but I choose not to at this point.

Worst experience and very bad services. We had a trip to Manali Shimla. An inexperienced driver was assigned and did not stick to schedule or the itinerary planned. One whole day he said he didn't know how to take us to Rohtang pass and made us arrange a different drive ron our own..on last day they showed gundaism to drop us mid way before airport drop and threatened to leave us ( with a 11 year old) on the road. Very bad coordination and planning by team. Specifically Savita, Anuj and Ravinder are the ones who planned and all 3 are misbehaved. They cheat with all money. They changed hotel bookings multiple times and too a lot of money for hotels and charged us almost double.

Worst experience ever with Travelocat. They promised 3-star hotels but provided poorly maintained non-rated hotels with terrible service. We faced multiple hotel changes, under-construction rooms, no hot water, dirty blankets, no water supply, delayed check-ins, and poor management throughout the trip.

The driver, Naveen Kumar, was very unprofessional and kept demanding extra money for parking, tolls, and other excuses outside the package amount. We were even forced to walk at night because he refused to come near the hotel area. Extra luggage/coolie charges were also forced on us.

Despite clearly sharing our flight details, the trip was badly planned and wasted most of our time in traveling instead of sightseeing. The airport drop was also mishandled, leaving us stranded for hours.

The entire tour became stressful instead of enjoyable, and because of all these issues we had to leave our tour halfway. Completely disappointing and pathetic service. Please avoid booking with Travelocat.

0-star — Pathetic!!! Avoid booking hotels through this agency.

Paid in full upfront and completely regret it. Room maintenance was terrible — stained and stinking sheets, bathroom mold, and broken fixtures that were never fixed despite multiple complaints. Service quality was just as bad. Staff were unresponsive, housekeeping skipped days, and the front desk gave excuses instead of solutions.

The booking agency was no help either. They took full payment but disappeared when issues came up. No refunds, no support, no accountability.

Save your money and sanity. There are better places that actually value guests.

I honestly regret choosing TravelOcat for our 11 nights / 12 days group tour (22 people). What was supposed to be a memorable trip turned into a complete nightmare from start to finish.
The planning was chaotic — constant miscommunication, last-minute changes, and zero accountability. Hotels were either substandard or not what was promised, with several rooms not even ready when we arrived. Transport arrangements were unreliable, as we requested for a 20 seater tempo traveler along with a seven seater...the only good thing was drivers were good, polite and professional,.
The itinerary was poorly executed and had no clarity until we kept following up for the day tour or activities. Key attractions were skipped without explanation, while we were dragged to random, unnecessary stops that felt like a waste of time. Meals included in the package were ok ok, and sometimes below average as it was paid for and included in the package.
The worst part was the customer service — once payment was made, getting help was nearly impossible. Calls went unanswered, and when someone did respond, it was vague excuses instead of solutions. Managing a group of 22 people is already challenging, but this agency made it 10 times worse.
Overall, extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I would strongly advise others to avoid TravelOcat if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

The entire team...Mahika from sales, Lukhwinder Manager from operations and Ankush from transport team are illetrate and ruthless....they are only bothered how to feed their families by fooling customers....

We recently completed our trip with Travelocat and would like to share our honest experience.

Firstly, we are very happy with the hotel arrangements. The stay was comfortable, and the service met our expectations. We have also posted a positive review for the hotel separately.

However, our experience with the drivers provided by Travelocat was extremely disappointing, frustrating, and unsafe. The initial driver, Jasbir, was highly irresponsible—he appeared to be sleepy while driving during our journey to Manali, which put our lives at serious risk. This is completely unacceptable for any travel service. At the last minute, he informed us about a driver change, which showed poor planning and lack of professionalism.

The second driver who replaced him was even more problematic. He seemed inexperienced and had very little knowledge of the route or basic travel management. He took frequent and unnecessary breaks, did not even ensure sufficient fuel before starting the journey, and kept stopping multiple times, causing major delays and inconvenience throughout the trip.

Additionally, during rainy conditions, our luggage was handled very carelessly and not covered properly, which resulted in damage to our suitcase and induction stove. There was no accountability or concern shown for the damage caused.

What is most alarming is the inconsistency in travel time—while the onward journey took more than 14 hours with delays and inefficiency, the return journey was completed in just 7 hours. This clearly indicates reckless driving and complete disregard for passenger safety.

It is also disappointing that when we posted this review earlier, it was deleted instead of being addressed. We will continue to share our experience until proper action is taken. Issues like these should be resolved by improving service and accountability, not by removing customer feedback.

Overall, while the hotel experience was good, the driver service from Travelocat was extremely unprofessional, poorly managed, and highly unsafe. This was one of the worst travel experiences we have had. We strongly urge the company to take strict action and improve their driver quality, as this kind of service puts customers’ safety at serious risk.

Pick and drop timings were good overall co ordination with local crew and arrangements in Singapore were good and on time. Overall good experience, Specially Ms. Mamata was helpful in co ordinating and arranging things

Very disappointing experience. I see many positive reviews, but when our trip became an operational failure, the team took no responsibility to resolve the issues. Support was good until payment was made; after that, there was no response, even after emails. We requested for a English speaking driver which being said, it will be arranged. The driver could not speak English and did not know our itinerary. Despite paying extra for a bigger vehicle, we were given a smaller one in Delhi and lost most of the day. In Agra, the booked hotel denied entry and we were shifted to a very poor hotel. The WhatsApp group created for transparency was later abandoned by the team. Not worth the money paid.

Even the complimentary meals at Agra and the camp fire booked at the shimla hotel was denied by them stating there is no such booking made from Travelocat.

The entire purpose of booking a travel package was defeated. My suggestion to others is to plan the trip on your own, you will have better control and avoid unnecessary financial and time loss. Trusting this team was a mistake on my 5 years of travel experience.

I'm writing this review after multiple emails and WhatsApp followups which resulted to leave them from the WhatsApp group without any notice or response.

We booked a 7-night Manali/Shimla/Delhi/Agra package with this agency, and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Before payment, they made several promises and commitments, many of which turned out to be false. Once the trip started, none of the assurances were fulfilled, and they stopped responding when we needed support the most. The planning by Mr. Gurwinder and Aish was completely unprofessional, and their lack of basic customer service ethics was evident throughout. They had promised a candlelight dinner, but the topic was never even brought up during the trip. Not once did they check in to see how things were going. Their focus was only on collecting payment—nothing else.

I must specifically mention the cab driver, Ajay Singh, who made the experience even worse. He was highly uncooperative and spent most of his time on personal and business calls while driving. He repeatedly dropped us far from the actual tourist spots, choosing parking locations convenient only for him and asking us to walk or take additional taxis to reach the destinations. This defeats the whole purpose of booking a cab for sightseeing. He also took us only to the restaurants he preferred, without suggesting quality options for us. Throughout the trip, he provided no guidance, no explanations about tourist places, and didn’t even show directions properly.

Overall, this has been a deeply unpleasant experience, and I strongly advise against booking with this travel agency if you don’t want your trip ruined.

Our group chose Travelocat for a trip we were really looking forward to, but sadly the experience was very disappointing. It felt like the agency was more focused on booking the cheapest options rather than researching suitable hotels and facilities.

We were a group of girls, and one of the hotels we were assigned was in an isolated area and almost completely empty. For obvious safety reasons, this was not ideal or reassuring at all. It didn’t feel like a thoughtful or safe choice, especially considering our group and the location.

On top of that, the itinerary was poorly planned. We had a night journey arranged, yet there was no provision for an early check-in, which made the arrival day unnecessarily stressful. When we reached out to address these issues, the responses felt evasive — there was no clear acknowledgement of the shortcomings and no meaningful action taken to help us resolve the situation.

Communicating with the assigned representative (Guruwinder) was frustrating. Instead of listening to our concerns and offering solutions, it often felt like we were met with resistance and repeated requests for payment without addressing the real issues.

Overall, our experience with Travelocat did not meet our expectations, especially after paying for their services. We felt unheard and unsupported, and it impacted our trip negatively. I hope the agency improves its customer care, planning, and attention to safety — because in its current form, I cannot recommend it.

The staff is unprofessional, money-hungry, and irresponsible, with zero concern for customer safety or satisfaction. Please do not book the package if your coordinator is Mr. Gurwinder and team.

Once payment was made, Calls and messages were ignored, and there was no accountability for their poor quality of service. When we held back a small amount due to these issues, the staff resorted to rude and threatening behavior, acting more like goons than professionals.

The employees were arrogant, dismissive, and unethical.
This agency is a complete scam, run by money mongers who will trap you once payment is made. Please DO NOT TRUST THIS TRAVEL AGENCY with your money or your travel plans. If you value your safety, mental peace, and hard-earned money, stay far away.

I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by this experience.

BEWARE- they took advance and not returning money back. I have booked my travel through them (from delhi to manali), sent an advance of 10000rs and they are not responding properly, talking rudely. I have cancelled my plan through their company as i had bad experience dealing with them. If you want to go through the same then go ahead otherwise buyer beware, you will be talked to nicely initially, moment you send money, their response will change. I am trying to get my money back. They keep ignoring your calls and as i am in different city, now I have to go to hisar and file a complaint at the local level. There will be different sales people, all of them lie to your face, chetna, VIVEK, daksh kapoor, pooja all aliases of travelocat, all these people, BEWARE and AVOID at all costs.
