Ultion should be available in stores, not only on line
I cannot find a local retailer of Ultion lubricant in their shop. It seems it's only sold on line. No good for some people. Surely the installation company should sell or give the customer some Ultion lubricant - those customers are spending a lot of money on doors and windows!

Ultion lubricant is available to purchase directly from us online, while the companies that supply and install doors are independent businesses and decide which additional products they stock or provide to their customers.

Would be 0 given the choice! Composite door put in 6 years ago - rental property. Unaware you are supposed to LUBRICATE THE LOCK EVERY 6 MONTHS. As the door has an indoor turnkey to lock I had never actually used the outdoor key. When I did use the original key it was very difficult to get in the lock and turn. Seeing the marks on the bottom of the key slot it looked like the tenants had similar difficulties. I ordered 2 new keys and the lubricant. One of the new keys I managed to eventually get in the lock and turn. The other one would not go into the lock completely and was useless. Contacted Ultion to try and get someone out to check the lock - no way as only a 5 year warranty (the door is guaranteed for 10 years with the fantastic company - Sheffield Window centre - they have just changed the bathroom window handle that was put in the same time as the door FOC:-) Ution will not check the lock - in any case to keep the warranty it has to be lubricated every 6 months so they wouldn't have come out prior to the 5 years anyway?? First person I spoke to - we should only replace the key that doesn't work but I'll refund it. She put the phone down - I was very frustrated! The next person I spoke to offered a refund on both keys but again, no one will come out to check the lock. MAKE SURE YOU ARE LUBRICATING ULTION LOCKS OR ANY SUPPOSED WARRENTY THEY OFFER IS INVALIDATED!! Or even better get CISA lock and keys - make of our front door lock. Keys have always worked well - extra keys just ordered also work well AND NO NEED TO LUBRICATE EVERY 6 MONTHS!!! (Just contacted Sheffield Window Centre - they will go and check the lock FOC :-) :-) :-)

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve experienced with your lock and keys.
Ultion cylinders have a five year mechanical warranty, and regular maintenance using the recommended lubricant forms part of the care requirements. In this case, the lock is six years old and had not been lubricated during that time, so it is outside of the warranty period.
As you were experiencing difficulty with the original key before ordering replacements, and similar difficulties continued with the newly cut keys, this may indicate an issue with the cylinder rather than the replacement keys themselves.
Although the lock was outside of warranty, our team offered a refund for one of the replacement keys as a gesture of goodwill. We’re sorry that we weren’t able to provide the resolution you were hoping for, and we hope your installer is able to help identify the cause of the issue.

Interior lock jammed within 2 days just after I received the 6 extra keys I ordered and paid £119 for and now my door supplier Moray Glass has had to replace the lock and are trying to sort out replacement keys for me

like the fact that the lock is super strong by giving customers money if someone can break in using the lock. makes me feel confident that you have our best interest by making a very strong lock and hopefully no one will have to claim the money given to you.
