I will say it’s good quality carpet…
I will say it’s good quality carpet but…
Didn’t have the best experience, the costings are not clear at United Carpets. I had to ask for a breakdown in order to see where the money had been spent after I was asked for more due to one of the rooms being bigger. After receiving the breakdown I could see we’d been charged for grippers that we didn’t need.
The fitters they use are not the best, they are polite and friendly but they cracked out door frame screwing the hinges back in which will cost me quite a bit to replace and they leave everything behind and I mean everything. You have to do an entire clean, they leave all rubbish, off cuts, used glue and bags behind in your rooms and outside
I won’t be using United Carpets again.

Poor Customer Service
Carpet fine and well fitted but would give customer service a zero.
We was given a provisional date for fitting by the salesman which we was told was flexible.
Unfortunately due to delays in obtaining materials we were unable to complete our work and decorating by that date so phoned local branch 4 days before fitting to request a date for fitting a few days later and was told by a grumpy employee that if we did not accept the planned date it would be a month before the carpet could be fitted, reluctantly we agreed to have it fitted on the planned day , hence us having to work around and decorate after the carpet was fitted
Totally unacceptable and would probably not use United Carpets again.

No customer service
Fitting was poor, customer service once they have handed over to fitters is non existent. Really disappointed and will never use again

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Lovely friendly people in the store and the fitters. The people in the shop gave us lots of advise and help without feeling like we were being upselled. The fitters were fab, arrived on time, very professional and friendly and we are so chuffed with our new flooring. Will definitely use again!

Quality and service second to none
I came to the store with a good idea of what I wanted, the salesman took me straight to a couple of options, was very clear on quality and price difference and I chose the one i wanted.
Took less than 5 minutes to complete a couple of bits of paperwork, booked the day i wanted it fitting and that was it! Could not have been easier.
The fitters were fantastic, called ahead before arriving, courteous and respectful as they came in and out while I was working from home.
I would highly recommend this store for quality and price, you can’t go wrong

Great floor - long wait
I’m very pleased with the final job, my floor looks great. It took a very long time from ordering to completion though (a month). I didn’t realise it would be such a long wait for a fitting slot. Communication was poor throughout the process too which made it a little frustrating.
