Peter the Salesman was very good…
Peter the Salesman was very good however the fitting took a lot longer than promised and twice fitters had to revisit to remedy problems left behind.

The staff were great
The staff were great, helpful, knowledable, and friendly The showroom was clean, easy to map, and loaded with great stock. Lots of Colour, texture and varied prices to suit everyones taste, eye and budget. We would definitely recommend and will definitely go

A poor experience from start to finish
A poor experience from start to finish. Emails unanswered, lost the order, had to go through everything again. Quite a delay for it being booked in - again no communication from the store. Only on my second chasing email was a booking date agreed. I wish now I had cancelled the order. Fitters arrived, late with no phone call. Job done and they were gone in less than 30 minutes. When I came to shut the door it was clear the door plate was poorly fitted and the screw standing proud damaged the door. Immediately emailed the store and provided photos and video. Did get an answer, I asked in writing on 3 occasions for the complaint procedure- this was ignored. Elliot rang on the Monday. I have to say he was defensive and when I asked for the complaint procedure was told he was the owner and therefore he dealt with complaints. I found him rude and he constantly spoke over me. I would not set foot in a United Carpet store ever again. Outcome is I was more than reasonable and agreed that Elliot would pay the fitters.

Immediate and helpful advice
Acknowledge immediately on entering the shop. Good advice from salesman. Bed delivered as ordered and on time.
Carpet layer arrived on time and was helpful with moving furniture for an octogenarian.
