We booked a trip package with this travel company based on a BNI reference, paying a higher amount than market rates expecting better service. However, our experience was very disappointing.
Out of the hotels promised, we did not receive proper stays. Instead of deluxe hotels, we were given properties similar to guest houses. In some locations, even rooms were not properly booked, and we had to wait until 3 AM to get accommodation, causing great inconvenience, especially as we were traveling with family and children.
Despite paying the full amount in advance, arrangements were poorly managed. We also came to know that payments to vendors and drivers were not handled properly.
After returning, we raised complaints but received no response or support from the company. We have complete video proof of all the issues faced during the trip.
Strongly do not recommend trusting this company or dealing with Miss Heena and Miss Keta.

Shittest company going around for young travellers. Booked prior covid and were aware at the time of the pandemic and hesitated to book as we were unsure to get a refund or if it would stop our flight and promised by the agents that we could if it were to occur. Once flights were booked and pandemic occurred we were unable to get a refund. There customer service is pathetic.
Hoped for something better from universal traveller.

With limited flights available and after two full flight cancellations she still managed to help me out. She even checked in with me every step of the way and kept me up to date with new flight and boarder restrictions. Without her my journey home would have been much more stressful. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!
When requesting money it was as easy an anything to get in contact with our travel agent Sandra but when money was being returned to us it took multiple days to get a response, this travel agent has reminded me why I do not book through travel agents!!!
Having confirmation from universal traveller that our refund for our flights out of melbourne to europe had been submitted and would take 12 weeks, only to find out through emirates that it was never submitted until 3.5 weeks later and if it was submitted on the date we were told we would have had our money back already as it takes 21 days!! Rude comments and a sarcastic attitude from someone who works with customers every day is disgusting and should be reconsidering their job if thats the attitude they are going to have. It is unacceptable to get a bad attitude from a team member of a company but to be the manager and still be able to sit there and give your customers a childish attitude is beyond unprofessional. I felt as though I was dealing with children rather than "professionals".
WOULD NOT ADVICE BOOKING THROUGH THIS TRAVEL AGENT COMPANY, AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!

Stephanie was amazing. She not only booked both our original flights. But was able to book flights for us to return during a time where airports were closed and travel was limited. During the corona virus pandemic it was a relief that Stephanie was able to assist us when we needed it most. This was in addition to everyone else who needed return flights during the crisis. On top of this, Stephanie contacted us to see how we were when we returned. We cannot thank you her enough and will always highly recommend her.
