If could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a 3/4 hair enhancer as my hair was starting to grow back from chemotherapy, I couldn’t fault them while I needed advice before I purchased it. It was delivered and I was so happy with it, finally feeling myself after a gruelling time. However, 6 weeks after it was delivered the comb had detached/come away from the wig cap and it snapped.
I can just about wear it for small periods of time, although as it’s snapped the comb digs in to my head, I contacted them and they said to send it in to be “investigated” however, it was my birthday that weekend so I emailed to say I’d send in after. I contacted them again after my birthday saying I was going to send it off, then I got a sarcastic reply saying it’s now out of the 30 days time period and seemed they basically changed their mind me sending it in. (laughable as you only have that amount of time for anything for it to go wrong)

this wig is £350 (although I got vat relief) but still, my mortgage payments are less. I did not want a replacement, not once did I ask for that, I just asked kindly for it to be fixed or at least some help with it.

Finally I got a response although it was “we’ll send you a comb and “fix it yourself” - this was over 5 weeks ago. I’m still waiting for this comb, I’ve contacted them numerous times, all I’m met with is sarcasm and zero customer service skills. So I have to find the materials (cotton) so when I do finally get this I have to do a bit of sewing. (Not what I really had in mind when buying it) as it’s clearly a manufacturing fault.

I am now contacting Macmillan, citizens advice and trading standards after sending an email, and writing a review and again met with lies accusing me of demanding I wanted a replacement when I have PROOF I asked for help and stated I did not want a replacement (just sums up their useless customer service skills, and didn’t read my emails correctly :D
If they think I’m just going to let this lie they are surely mistaken. I have been patient enough.

I didn’t get this wig for free or as a favour, and expected it to last longer than 6 weeks. Yes, they have previous happy customers and good star review, which is why I intially went with them, but heaven help you if you need assistance after a sale, it just doesn’t happen, especially as they’re involved with some people who maybe going through a tough time.
To make up blatant lies about a customer in response to their review is a disgrace, it’s so bad you have to laugh :D

I purchased two wigs from Valentines. They are lovely. The Sadie wig is just awesome. Very good quality and colour is good. The Reese wig is lovely also.and the colour is nice. Thank you Valentines. First class. Service.

I just love the Sally Wig by Norkio and Valentine Wigs have great prices on all of there produts. I suffer from Alopeca so to me Wigs are a part of my life. Just wish they were a little closer so i could visit there salon.

Just received my Jackson wig by Noriko in the colour chocolate swirl, gorgeous gorgeous wig, the colour is beautiful and I have found is a great alternative to Rene of Paris marble brown. I have only been wearing wigs for about a year due to hair loss and Valentine wigs are the only company Iv'e used but in all honesty I would not use any other, the service from the team is first class and I find it a real personal service with the added bonus of knowing that I can call them and speak to someone very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you all very much.

What an amazing company to deal with. Richard and his team went out of their way to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Having a larger than normal head it did take a while to find a wig to fit. There was help and advise at every turn, as it is a difficult thing to purchase such a personal item online. Thank you so much Valentine Wigs. Cant praise you enough.

After losing my long hair due to Chemotherapy I was devestated, I’ve just received two fabulous wigs from Valentine Wigs online. There are many bogus wig sellers out there praying on vulnerable people like myself but this company are fantastic and very reasonably priced, around £50 to £100 cheaper than purchasing at recommended retail wig shop I know this from recent experience. You do receive a voucher from the hospital but they are still more expensive from a retail wig shop with the voucher money off. I’m unsure if the above company except the NHS vouchers as I’d already purchased my first wig at a retail shop. You can, fill out a form, Valentine Wigs have on their site for VAT exemption if you have a medical condition that has caused you’re hair loss as I did and usually only takes 2 days for them to check out your eligibility and form is simple to fill out.
They have a wide range of wigs for men, women & children by well known designers, e.g Rene of Paris. They are easily contactable too as all details are shown on website which I know some people prefer to converse. I do hope this review helps many vulnerable people who like myself have been devastated by hair loss either by Cancer treatment, alopeicia or emotional stress etc.
