complete rip off
paid over £2000 for a listing fee to generate bookings for the restaurant and other spaces we have and in a year had no business at all from them. Other businesses in our area were getting the same booking enquiries as we were! Its a total con, had to cancel my card to stop paying as we weren't allowed out of the contract.

It's very common that other businesses in your area will receive the same enquiries, as organisers will typically enquire with 3-5 enquiries to get a range of quotes and to guarantee a greater chance of availability. It's a total scam
It's a total scam. We've gotten zero bookings in 6 months and we're tied to a 12 month contract, which they won't let us out of. Whatever you do, don't go into business with VenueScanner.

Paid upfront and never had a booking
In almost two years I’ve never had a booking at my venue but had to pay a fortune in fees! Biggest waste of money. Avoid!

Our primary goal is to ensure we're marketing your venue, but we will always do everything we can to support you with conversion end to end.
Expensive service with no return on investment
Abysmal return on investment. They promise you a ROI of five times over investment but have generated absolutely nothing. There were some event venue enquiries who were either off-brief or not fitting my venue specs. Some enquiries felt fabricated. Very quick to tell me that i was locked in to the contract for longer but i had proof of cancellation and their confirmation on last payment date. Absolutely please stay away.

Ho hum...
Input your details to the app and they send your info to the venues. The venues either ignore or do not receive the info you have input a couple of times already and then you have to start all over again with multiple venues, all asking the same information you have already provided - all followed by the usual cheesy grins and 'we love to help' clap trap from the event coordinators.
You also get added to their marketing list so while trying to organise one event - you are sent emails asking for more information or confusing the threads of conversations from before.
I've googled local venues myself - its more straight forward if you cut out this middle man/woman.
