Victory Cruise Lines Avis 

The food was wonderful. The staff was very accommodating. The boat was more than I expected. The tours were very good and interesting all in all I would give you the best highest rating I could.

The excursions were good since we had never been to the Great Lakes before. The staff on the ship were phenomenal!! Your customer service training worked.

The crew, the food, the entertainment, the excursions

We had a great cruise. Staff was first rate and food outstanding. It was relaxing and stress free.
If I had any criticism of the cruise it would have been on the Detroit excursion to the Ship Museum. It was a long trip and we would have been able to see a ore ship docked right next to us in Escanaba. It would have given us more time at the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Also on the Milwaukee dairy excursion, the food was outstanding but at our age, we didn't need to sample a full size brat or a large glass of beer or a huge scoop of ice cream then come back and go to dinner. Maybe have them reduce the samples a little.
Again, the food and service on the ship were first rate. Please don't change a thing.
As I told the one of the staff my biggest complaint is that Victory doesn't do the Inside Passage in Alaska.

Food and beverages were very good. Crew were all friendly, friendly, and attentive. Service was good. Housekeeping was outstanding. However, communications, in general, were not the best. Some information was confusing, delayed, or inconsistent. The Victory app is cumbersome to use. We were never given a good explanation on why the stop at the port of Saguenay, Quebec, was cancelled. Not even the management on board could tell us - they didn't know either. Dining should begin earlier, 5:30pm or 6:00pm. 6:30pm is very late for dinner.

On board entertainment was stellar! Included tours and local guides excellent. Crew outstanding, eager to make our time enjoyable. We know the following was mostly out of Victory’s control: too many at sea days with not enough activities on board, rough seas that made navigating the ship difficult and dangerous. Perhaps a tweak to the itinerary? Not enough information given about where we were sailing and the reasons we had to sail in heavy seas-

Individual who directed the cruises was vey good and handled everyone professionally.
Food was great in both restaurants.
Cabin Stewart took good care of me.
Staff at pursers desk were friendly and helpful.

The staff on our cruise was exceptional. They were friendly and extremely helpful. The bus tours were not as good as the walking tours. The tour guide in Toronto was not easy to follow and a large part of the monuments weren’t described or pointed out in time for everyone to see them.

Excellent food, service, entertainment, lectures, and excursions. Everything was well organized. Only problem was small room size or I would give 5 star rating.

My wife and I have taken at least 15 cruises with other cruise companies, and I must say that the experience with victory 1 was the best that we’ve had. Every meal we had on the ship was fantastic with no complaints whatsoever.. the tours were all outstanding and very informative. The crew was wonderful., they always knew our names in our preferences, and made certain that we were satisfied with everything. The entertainers, the victory, one band, had an amazing repertory and were excellent. I would recommend victory, cruise lines to anyone of our friends and acquaintances, we have no complaints whatsoever. The ship itself was very well appointed, and the small size was perfect. We would love to have another cruise with victory.

Everything about our cruise with Victory exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic. The level of service from every crew member that we encountered was unparalleled. Cruising from Montreal through the St Lawrence Seaway and into each of the Great Lakes was memorable.

The check in process was in disarray. This was a bad start.

The food was above average for a cruise line. The Captain, his officers and staff were very personable. I wish that I could say the same about the Cruise Director, not at all friendly.

The service, the food, and the size of the ship were all at least as good as major cruise lines including Cunard and Crystal. The only significant improvement would be the addition of a chair in the cabins.
