The trip had several unplanned cancellations with far to many days at sea. The weather contributed to a much less satisfactory trip which you could not control. this trip could have been offered earlier in the year - say the beginning of September. The musical group was subpar as compared to the excellent group which played during my previous cruise with your company. The food was very good and the personnel who waited on me excellent.
Ship was clean
Ship was clean. Staff very helpful. Food was excellent. Small number of passengers made for no waits at any activities. Lakelorene did a great job. Team with craft activity was unexpected fun
Would recommend a little more diversity in evening activities. Local singing group was refreshing More local food items a Wii for bowling and other tournaments.

We found the food crew and accommodations were all excellent; however, the last minute changes and cancellations (such as port stops, excursions) prohibit us from giving you 5 stars. We understand the Captain adjusting the schedule to sail in smooth seas, but we are referring to time and port changes.
Loved the boat.but too many sailing days
Loved the boat.but too many intense sailing days vs stops
All Staff and food were great. We like the rooms. Good storage. Comfortable beds
Lack of communication, pre and during trip. Still don’t know why we missed one planned stop.
Great itinerary at the wrong time
The crew in the staff were wonderful and the itinerary looked amazing. However, we missed two ports of call which created extra days at sea. Also, with the weather and deteriorating state most of the passengers spent all of the time in the lounge, and by the time the cruise ended over half of the passengers were ill. Also, at this time of the year, I believe that ship may be too small for the crossing as it does not particularly do well with 30 kn winds and 6 foot seas. I would not do this itinerary again.
We thought Victory was the lowest…
We thought Victory was the lowest cruise line we have experienced. We have over 25 cruises on 5 different cruise companies.
chair upolstery in stateroom stained
poor communication between staff, cruise director and pasengers.
Shower did not drain
Traveling in an area with great shellfish and little was served
loud mechanical noises in the stateroom
small stateroom compared to others
onshore excursions redundant between included and premium excursions
pasengers not informed regarding times and levels of disembarking for excursions
The list goes on and on

We truly enjoyed the staff who were wonderful in making us feel at home . The menus were very good, dinner changing every day. Victory II was a comfortable and well appointed ship. We only wish we had more time on land and maybe fewer numbers on excursions. Unfortunately the ship had 3 days at sea. We missed opportunity to visit Sanguenay and Portsmouth.
thanks!
Staff was polite and available - Julius assigned to our cabin, bartender, Max in the dining room and general staff. We loved our location in 404 and accessing other areas was easy.
Although programs were excellent, please consider adding lectures on geology, culture in more detail, history or the river and settlements, more in depth on customs of indigenous people, historical movies related to the area.
The crew of Victory II are outstanding
The crew of Victory II is what made our trip special. Ira our cabin attendant was a true gem. We always made a point to sit at one of Max's table in the dinning room. He is amazing. Norma kept our wine glasses flowing and seemed to work morning, noon, and night making sure everyone thing in the compass lounge was tidy and well stocked. Uno up in the grill was a pleasure to see every morning. Capt Vlad runs a tight ship and has a crew to match his expectations
Learn about the great lakes
The food and other services were excellent and I learned so much about the great lakes.
The experience
Staff! Stars were Ari, Deepak, Alden and Jose. They really made us feel welcome and part of the experience!
Food was outstanding and varied! Really appreciated that!
First time on Victory and we are scheduled for next year already

The trip routes were changed without advance notice or explanation. So much time at sea that there was mass sea sickness. Not enough food options and small windows for food service. Air was only hot or cold in room. Service staff was wonderful! Uno and Agnelo were awesome!
Crew was exceptional
Crew was exceptional.
Jho my room steward was alwY ready with a smile and hello and room was always perfect.
Ismael our waiter also gave above and beyond perfect service.
Both bartenders in the Tavern were perfect. By day two they knew exactly what drink I wanted.
Mariano and Preston were also notable for exceptional service.

Band was top notch! The singer was amazing!!! We felt like we were in a night club in New York.
We were celebrating an anniversary during the cruise. It was very special when the staff sang to us and gave us cake at dinner. A very special moment. Please keep doing that for people in the future.
Food was good with many options. We liked having the breakfast buffet and the option to order additional breakfast items.
Dislike
Meal time should be an enjoyable experience but with the noise and the table configurations it took away from dinner time. Breakfast is ok and lunch is ok. Dinner time was the worst with everyone eating at the same time the room was noisy and the temperature (too Hot) increased with all the people crammed into the dining room. Some of the servers where sweating it was so hot.
Long tables in dinning room are very hard to sit at and be comfortable. People have a difficult time getting past the chairs people were sitting in with the narrow space between the two long tables.
Why not have two dinner times in the evening so the dining room isn’t so crowded and loud? The noise in the dining room gets so loud that it is difficult to have a conversation with others at the same table.
Can an additional dining area besides the Grill on top of the ship be created? The Grill we were only allowed to eat there twice.
The chairs don’t slide in the dining room so it’s hard to move up to the table. Why not put rolling wheels on the chairs?
Why not have a dinner buffet similar to the breakfast buffet then if people wanted to have a quick dinner they could and it would lighten the load in the dining room.
The tour guide to the Niagara Falls rambled on and was difficult to understand. He didn’t give us information about the falls etc. It was a disappointment when the falls are such a special part of the cruise.
Some of the tours were not very interesting there are other places that were close by that would have been a better option.
Thank you for listening!
Victory Cruise Line does an outstanding job!
your staff are amazing each one of them were always cheerful and excited to see us.
Hats off to the chief, the meals were wonderful in the dining room, the buffet could have been better, it was not bad it is such a small area so waiting to get food was difficult. I am not sure how you could do it any other way.
The lounge food I never ate. It looked good.
The rooms were the smallest I have ever had with only 1 foot on each side. I had a group on with me 56 persons. That was the only complaint. We are all boaters, so it was easy for us.
I would like to see the nightstands higher. The phone took up most of the space, I like to use my iPad and have a bottle of water next to my bed. not much room for it all.
The older people had issues with only 1 foot and the beds were high, I know it is for luggage storage under the beds. Not sure there is a way to have a sturdy foot stool or not.
I would like to see the hard plastic shower door in place of the curtain. I think for safety reasons this would be a wise thing.
The planning with Sherri Steward and Carolyn Pennington was amazing, they were great to work with. They do need more help. You are getting very busy. The word is out. for food, entertainment (the 4 musions did such a great job different music each night)
I was in cabin 323 my cabin steward was great, Nicole served wine was lovely always a smile. Preston our wonderful Matre'd went above and beyond for everyone so attentive.
The 3-bar staff were great
Most delightful was our captain Vlad Ene he was very engaging with everyone.
Hotel Director Mariano Rizzo what a delight he was fun to watch in action while preparing food with some of the guest with the chef. also, always avalible
for Food, Service, entertainment for a small ship I would rate you as 5 star.

My wife and I felt very welcomed and appreciated the entire voyage. The staff and crew were very polite and always wanted to help when necessary. The ship was very clean and the food was excellent every day.
It was our first Great Lake cruise
It was our first Great Lake cruise. It was also our first small ship cruise. We enjoyed the itinerary, food and staff. All were great. We learned alot from the Lake lorian along the way. The weather happened to be great also. We got along with, and visited with many fellow passengers which made the trip more memorable.
We had a great trip
We had a great trip. ROOMS: small but well designed. The shower was very small...a very large person would have difficulty showering. FOOD: really loved how you displayed the dishes prior to entering the dining room. As an American ship we would have enjoyed more dishes reflecting the heartland and Great Lakes regions to match our itinerary. STAFF: superior across the board. Wendy gave us personal help with airline passes and getting us off board early. Lots of help from the Purser's office. And our room steward was a gem. We learned a lot from our Lakelorian. TOURS: well planned and worthwhile. Included tour in Toronto missed the mark. Poor guide guide and market was disappointing. Many of the tours were rushed - ie: Niagara Falls, National park. As with every cruise we take what makes or breaks how we enjoy our time is the fellow travelers we meet. And we met many friendly people from all over the country willing to share their stories with us.
