Vintage Photo Lab Avis

I've used Vintage more than once, to digitise my own photos and then for a larger project when my farther passed away and we wanted to "capture" all his photography, ~15,000 photos. We saw an opportunity to not just digitise what had been stored for years in boxes but to create a legacy which we could share online and be assured we'd have forever.

The team worked on cine film, 35mm photos, negatives and slides as well as other video formats and then also memorabilia. The communication throughout has been superb; there's transparency on costs as well as a real personal touch.

The output has been amazing. Perhaps like some people reading this review, we set out to get peace of mind that nothing would be lost once it was digitised. But the reality has been that this has created and refreshed memories. We have a ton of memories on Apple Photos in Shared Folders for the entire family and friend network to enjoy. The highlight has been that Emily at Vintage created a video of my Dad's life based on all the photos and some of the video. Overall Vintage have been superb.

The service was very quick and professional with my cine films and slides perfectly processed and returned safely.

This is an amazing service that means you will never lose those precious old photographs. I cannot recommend enough. Cathy’s communication was brilliant. Thank you so much.

Excellent service, great communication, easy to follow instructions and safe receipt of goods back to me, physically and digitally

Cathy, Louise and the team are amazing.

I'd been thinking about digitising my childhood photos for years and when my mum died, my need to have easier access to them pushed me to get in contact with Vintage Photo Lab. Cathy was great from the start and the whole business is run with such military precision, that I had no worries about something happening to my original photos.

It only took them three working days to scan 1,400 photos so I was able to share them on my mum's first heavenly birthday. They send you a zip file right away and return your originals with an Apple AirTag shortly after.

It's not that expensive either. Just over £300 got me my 1400 photos scanned, a nice clear plastic storage box that I will now forever keep my originals in, a USB stick and two complementary DVDs.

I would use them again if I decide to get more old photos done.

Fast and efficient service with great communication throughout. Delivery and return were simple and end results were perfect, especially at 600dpi where the old pics can be enlarged. Old slides also produced great images. Would certainly recommend and use again.

The communication with Cathy was instantaneous. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and I was delighted with the result.

Excellent customer service responses. Informative about the process and felt very valued as a customer.

Superb support from my first enquiry email through to the return of the originals. I would highly recommend Vintage Photo Lab for handling and reproducing precious old photos with such care.

Super service thank you

Very customer focused and very helpful
Photos very carefully handled
Would very much recommend

I used Vintage Photo Lab for both my parents sets of photos. The communication and service was absolutely incredible.

I loved how they add an AirTag to the courier package, so you can always be assured of your photos’ location.

The quality of the scans and the price is just so worth it. This is something I’ve wanted to do for YEARS and I’m so glad I finally did it.

Now, I have 1000s of photos on my MacBook which I’ve been swiping through for hours.

Would recommend to my closest friends and family.

Great experience with the team at Vintage Photo Lab. From first inquiry, to pick up to delivery all went smoothly.

Communication with the team was great. They were very flexible when we needed to reschedule pickup/drop off. Photos look great and were all returned safely.

Offering a great service and really has brought childhood memories back to life. Fab communication with team throughout, collection and delivery of photos seamless. Cant fault them! Highly recommend!

We've just had 5 large box loads of photos scanned by Vintage Photo Lab - a real assortment - some loose, some in albums, some removable, some fixed, school photos etc. This was all handled with ease and the results are fantastic! It is such a pleasure having the photos easily available and all in one place - as we have grown familiar with with the born-digital ones. We communicated mostly with Cathy who was very friendly and efficient and made everything easy. She even took a weekend morning to meet us so that we could deposit the photos in person. The final price was very reasonable too for such a large job. Thank you to Cathy and the whole team for restoring our old memories to life!

As the family’s photo holder I was at first hesitant to send my photo’s some of which were many generations old. I very soon found there was no need to worry. The service I received was beyond excellent. From the courier collecting and returning them. To the communications so I knew exactly where in the process my order was at all times. When I found I had even more photos I was prompt in sending a second order. I don’t often write reviews but I was so impressed with this company’s service I had to make an exception. I have now downloaded my photos and catalogued them with names below so my own children and beyond will know who everyone is. Thank you so much.

Very pleased with the service from Vintage photo lab. They communicated well all through the process and I felt that my original photos were in safe hands. The scans look great.

Can't recommend Vintage Photo Lab enough.

They did an amazing job scanning 6 precious albums for us and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.

Cathy and the team were very professional and took good care of our albums.
