Vintage Photo Lab Avis

I found a pile of old 8mm films in my parents garage from the 1970s and I wanted to digitise them for my mother in particular who will turn 80 and has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s decease. So I looked for somebody who would give as much care as I would. The Vintage Photo Lab came to pick up the films and dropped them back after (in central London) so I didn’t have to worry about mailing them. They even numbered them for me to better categorise them (some were unlabelled). Their communication was the best and I was informed every step of the way. Watching these all clips back stirred some emotions in myself and I can’t wait to share them with my mum and the wider family at her birthday!

I truly appreciate PhohtoLab, dedication in digitizing my photos so quickly, just in time for a birthday. Thanks to their hard work, i was able to relive and share some memories with friends and family.

A really excellent service. I felt confident my grandfather's precious slides were in safe hands. A courier picked them up and returned them to me. The service was fast and efficient and the digital versions of the slides look even better than I'd hoped. I've shared the pictures with my family and they're all delighted.

Made the job & process so quick and easy, collection service is great as well. Incredible value for the service.

Very responsive. Amazing service. The photos were scanned perfectly. I would strongly recommend.

Great service, all slides returned safely, family delighted with the pictures and video content

Seamless customer service. The local pick up and drop off made me feel so much better about sending my photos in. Very glad I did this-only wish I had done it sooner!

Vintage Photo made the process seamless-picked up and returned my photos with excellent communication. Felt confident my photos were in good hands.

I am very grateful for Vintage PhotoLab fur their hard work getting my photos digitised just before Christmas in such a short time period. I was able to share some lovely memories with my family.

I highly recommend them. Every step was explained clearly and my questions were answered promptly. I used the website to place my order and I did it incorrectly (my error completely) and was immediately contacted to say they would refund the balance. I had no worries about sending irreplaceable family photos from three and four generations ago as they used a tracking option which gives peace of mind.

These guys are absolutely fantastic, in summary they are experts in what they do!

in my case I had numerous different media types collected over 40 years with lifetime memories and saved them in such a high quality, enhanced, and precious way.

Outstanding service, great advice with a cheery smile. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough - 5* plus

Absolutely delighted with the service and the digital photos have brought so much joy to our whole family. I love the way you are sent a “really useful box” (strong plastic box) and AirPod tracker to send your photos in, it feels like a really safe method and felt easier to post the items. The service and email responses to any questions were lovely and I’m over the moon with the quality of the scans.

Excellent experience. Very personalized and friendly, professional with an excellent quality and product.

I found some 8mm films and recordings in the attic and decided to see what was on them.

I contacted Vintage Photo Lab who turned out to be quite local and soon had the films with them. Ed personally took them from me and explained what he would do to have them processed.

About a week later, I had the digital links. The download was easy and I transferred them to my digital storage. It turned out to be film of my parents’s wedding and my brother and me when we were only a year or two old.

What an amazing time we had playing them for the family at Christmas.

Totally worth the cost. On my next trip, I will have to see what others I have hiding in the attic.

very pleased with what they have done and a very good service too. They collected and returned the albums, communicated well.

Would highly recommend Vintage Photo Lab. The whole process worked very smoothly. I was fortunate to benefit from their car pick up service and their communication was great in terms of pick up and drop off times (and dealing with my change of plans!), and responding to any questions I had. The turnaround was very quick and everything was returned correctly. Would definitely use them again!

Great communication, inspired confidence throughout which is so important when handing over something irreplaceable like this. Ability to hand-collect and return personally also helped. Scan files delivery was also perfect. Really good — would high recommend to anyone.
