Worst TV purchase ever
Worst TV purchase ever. Streaming problems, over 2 years with no software updates, turns off and restarts on its own, crashes, will never buy another vizio ever. We hate this TV.
Good value, easy setup
Picture quality is great for the price and setup was easy. The smart TV interface can be a little sluggish, but overall it’s been reliable and I’m happy with it.

I’ve had this 55” tv since October and it shuts down and has to be reset weekly, sometimes twice a week. Probably the last Vizio that will ever be in my home.
Too Many Problems
I've had the tv for 4 years and there's just too many problems. Vizio doesn't allow apps to be updated. So if any app isn't working correctly, there's nothing you can do about it. Resets randomly for no apparent reason. The entire tv needs to be rebooted on a regular basis in for it to work properly.
This is nonsense
This is nonsense, not only had I purchased a television, but in order to use the television, I have to pay for an activation fee. This is a scam. I took it right back to the store and purchased a different brand television that works exactly the same. I will not buy something that I have to pay to use especially when it is available otherwise. Vizio will not be part of any purchasing that I will do in the future.

this TV is two years old
this TV is two years old, it really hasn’t gotten a whole heck of a lot of usage. Occasionally in the past, it has issues connecting back up to the Wi-Fi when it is powered down. Not a big deal really. However, at this point, I cannot turn the TV back on again. All I get is a black screen. There is a blinking white light in the lower right corner. If you Google search this, you will see that it is a common problem with these TVs and it has been going on for sometime.
That’s the mark of a lousy company when they know they have a problem, but they still won’t fix it. The idea is to last the warranty period, and otherwise provide absolutely no reliability. Sorry Mr. Vizio, but I expect to get more than two years of usage out of a TV. My recommendation is to stay as far away from this company as possible.
get a Phillips TV. Maybe a Sony. I heard LG is good.
Good if you are a gamer but terrible for most anything else
I don't know what happened to Vizio my father had one for years was a good tv.. I bought a 65 bout 10 months ago had the mother board replaced within a month and the picture is flat out terrible I cannot even tell what's on tv alot of times.. now the quantum is pretty good but the one I bought is complete trash I'll never buy one again ..
The tv isn’t the greatest
The tv isn’t the greatest. The color sometimes go in between green spots & regular color. It cuts off by itself. The tv says it can’t find an input or no signal on the input like the game or cable box when it is plugged in. The remote stop signaling to the tv 😒. I will never buy this brand of tv ever again
HORRENDOUS
I don’t want to say if I could leave 0 stars I would because it’s extremely cliche but I absolutely would on ANY Vizio product. I have had nothing but horrible luck. They obviously delete or only post the very few good reviews they receive on their website. I have had a Vizio TV for about four years now. It worked great for about a month but after that it doesn’t hardly work at all. There is NOTHING smart about this TV. I have to power cycle it every single time I turn it on otherwise it won’t play anything. Half the time it gets stuck on a random show on the watch free when I never even clicked anything to go there and then none of the buttons on the remote work, my only option is to unplug the TV for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. It’s gotten so bad I actually connected it to a power strip now so that I can just power off the power strip. The TV never automatically connects to my WiFi and forgets the network about once every two days. It barely plays any shows off of a streaming service. This is the second Vizio TV my family has had after our last one magically burst into flames hanging on our wall while we were watching a movie one night. Thank go we were all home and were able to out the fire out quickly with no damage to our house. Vizio makes a horrible TV and I cannot say enough to skip this product and buy SOMETHING ELSE

Vizio is a terrible company! My TV fell apart within the first year and their warranty team will do everything possible to avoid accountability, even if it means trying to blame you as a last resort. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Poor Poduct Life for Vizio TV
I purchased my 43-inch Vizio tv May 29, 2023. Now, 2 months after my extended warranty ended, the IR sensor has failed. I was really thrilled with my Vizio, as it was the first I had ever purchased. Now, I’m afraid I have to change my opinion. It’s impractical to have a product that doesn’t last any longer than 2 years. The tv wasn’t even used every day. I’m very disappointed and I feel I can’t trust the quality of Vizio’s tvs. Therefore, I won’t be buying another. I must say that Vizio’s customer service is excellent; however, the prices they quoted me for repair would exceed the cost of a new tv. The tv still has a wonderful picture, but there’s no way to operate it.

I just want to say that after HOURS of tryna get this tv put together it DID NOT work, Let me explain my granny was looking for local channels for the tv and we were trying to get those and after all the hard work😅😅.. We only got 9 LOCAL CHANNELS and that’s just not enough for us, Then another thing for us that we didn’t like is that we had to go through all of that email and other big details that we just felt as if was TOO much just for ONE tv to turn on and get to working!!! I hope they can make better decisions in the future to operate Vizio tv’s and even ANY other tv like this so that they can be accessible and A LOT more easier to handle with🤞🏾.

I bought a 40inch in 2019 and I had it until 2022 ,
because all of a sudden one day it just STOPPED WORKING so my stupid ass bought ANOTHER Vizio 40inch and had it until (today) 2025 and the same shit happened IT JUST STOPPED WORKING so I called Vizio and they said I need to buy a new one (again) so I cussed the lady out then took the tv outside and smashed it with a hammer !

It’s disappointing that Vizio shows little concern for addressing issues with their TVs and their customer service. I recently purchased a Vizio TV and I will be returning it because it simply won’t cast. My old Vizio tv has also stopped casting. I’ve tried everything—from different phones to various troubleshooting steps—but the TVs remain undiscoverable. Their customer service is unhelpful; they insist on following procedures that Google has already provided, without actually resolving the problem—just a waste of time.
My interaction with Oleg from Vizio support was particularly condescending, which only added to my frustration. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ve decided to stick with Samsung from now on and will be returning this defective new TV.
app selection sucks
they dont have as many apps as firetv as a matter of fact they dont have directv stream so how can i watch this cable on this tv -- i cant very disappointed how hard is it to add apps -- i will tell everyone to check the apps before you buy this tv-- its cheap but damn i need to be useful
