The only reason I gave one star is I had to. The worst TV experience I've ever had. I've canceled all my subscriptions because they don't work. I can't even watch most of the crap built into it. I'm actually going to take the L on this one, throw it in the back of a storeroom and go buy another brand of "smart," TV. And it's 75" limited edition. I can't return it, but I can watch regular TV without all that complicated nonsense on another brand.

WORST TV EVERRRR!!!
Do not waste your money, time and sanity on this POS brand of TVs! I'm 67 y/o and have had a TV since I was 8. I've never had a worse TV in my entire life! This TV has so many issues, it take a really long time to turn on, sometimes it doesn't turn on at all forcing me to have to get up to unplug it, wait, then plug it back in, the sound is horrible, it is a frustrating challenge to switch from the inferior Smartcast app to cable and so on. The only thing worse than Vizio is their worthless Smartcast app! It constantly freezes and is very limited on what apps you can upload and access. RUN!!

I bought a Vizio TV on October 27 2024

I bought a Vizio TV on October 27 2024, with a year warranty. The TV does not work and has lines in it. I talked to a representative and was told it would be replaced all i needed to do was send the receipt which I did. Now they are claiming theres a crack on the screen and they will not replace it. 1) there is no crack on the screen 2) I was told to send the receipt I did 4) they did noting but waste my time. I did everything asked of me and now it’s not covered and it’s 8 months old.

Beware of Vizio TVs

I purchased 3 Vizio TVs in the last 6 months (32", 43", 55") and every one of them has issues. The 32" constantly freezes while my Samsung TVs do not have this issue and it changes apps by itself. It also takes a long time to come on when initially it came on right away.

The 42" takes over one minute to turn on, it changes apps by itself and constantly freezes while the other TVs in the house do not.

The 55" turns on and off by itself, changes apps by itself, and does not always turn on.

I normally only buy Samsung TVs and I decided to give Vizio a try and needless to say, I will never purchase a Vizio TV again. If there were only one of my 3 Vizio TVs that have issues it would be more understanding, but not all three TVs that were all purchased within 6 months.

I absolutely hate Vizio

I absolutely hate Vizio. I've actually had this TV a dew years and at first it was no problem. I use a digital antenna ONLY, and like with any normal TV, I turn it on, watch the show, change channel, etc.
Then at some point last year, they started trying to force me to use their streaming channels, smartcast I think they call it, and watchfree, I should know those names by heart from seeing them over and over. And why do I keep seeing them? Because after I tun my TV off, I don't change the settings, but the next time I turn it on, it's on their streaming platform, I have to go in and change it back to antenna. I am SO tired of them trying to force me to use the streaming service, not to mention the times I couldn't use the TV right away because I'd turn it on and would have to updates - updates I don't need because I NEVER use their streaming services. I will NEVER buy another Vizio product!!

JUNK TV

I had to pick one star..truthfully they deserve NO stars!! It never works...takes for ever to load..I have it set where it is to automatically come on to the last channel but doesn't reverts to Smart Tv that I NEVER USE....if I try to change a channel and there is no signal it freezes to where I have to unplug it again and this is a daily issue...then takes 20 mins to come back on...CRAP TV!!!! don't waste your money!! Just so you know this has been going on for yrs not just today!!

Do not buy this TV!!!

Do not buy this TV!!!! I’ve had it for about 10 months and ever since I got it it’s done nothing but anger me to the depths of my bones. NOT worth it. Go buy something else. Literally anything else will work better than this tv.

Purchased a Vizio TV on my credit card…

Purchased a Vizio TV on my credit card for my son whose away for college, after 11mths the tv stop working and an horizontal lines appeared. Called in a service request been going back and forth with Vizio for a month with them giving different excuses. The final excuse was I cannot make a claim as it's not my TV, my son would have to make the claim himself even though I provided proof of purchase showing my name on the credit card statement. My son would have to battle with them as he doesn't have proof of purchase as that is in my name. This is the worst customer service and company that scams customer by not honoring warranty on their products. I will never purchase anything with this company ever again. I will count this purchase as lesson learned and funds lost.

too bad I can't give less than 1 star because their service is THAT bad - they don't warrant even 1 star. I have now had 2 different firmware updates for my 2 yr old 32" Vizio TV. The first one in 2022 totally killed my ability to AirPlay to my TV from my Mac. Subsequent updates they did after that altered other things such as the ability to properly communicate with the Vizio soundbar I have attached. Fast forward to this month (November 2023) and they pushed out another firmware update. This one ended up totally resetting EVERYTHING I had changed to meet my wishes......it was as if the TV was back to factory settings. Their updates have caused the TV to automatically change input settings on its own...I can be watching a show via my Fire TV stick and then suddenly the TV changes to the USB input. In addition Vizio has decided the best method for antenna usage is to combine it with the new Smartcast UI they have pushed out. Used to be I could choose to watch something on antenna and have a simple method to look at channels....gone is the simple method and now since it's tied into Smartcast it has become very annoying to try and get to what I want to watch. I know the channels (I've lived here all my life) that are available, but god forbid they want to make it simple. I posted my complaints to one of their social media channels and their idea was to remove my post, mute me from their platform channel, then ban me and then report me to the platform admin which has given me a temp ban from the platform. I admit I was very frustrated but instead of trying to deescalate and help me, they chose to have me banned instead. They don't want to help at all....they just chose to 'shut me up'...their only concern is making money. The general consensus with Vizio is that their products are trash - they certainly have done their best to make me to NEVER EVER buy another Vizio product, and when this TV is ready to be replaced, it'll received the Office Space treatment in a local field

I owned my Vizio and was satisfied with…nothing

I owned my Vizio and was satisfied with it until Vizo decided to update MY TV to their standards. I use an antenna for much of my programming. Now when I turn the TV on it starts where Vizio wants to sell me programming. It takes several steps with the remote to get to the antenna. While talking to customer service I was told if I don't like the new format I can disconnect the TV from the internet and just use my firestick. I don't recall telling them I have a firestick. I was told this new update allows Vizio to try to target me with programming that I like to watch. I guess they must be keeping track of people's viewing habits. I find this offensive and a violation of my privacy. I think a person watching TV in there own home should have a reasonable expectation of privacy. I will never purchase anything associated with Vizio ever again.

Watch free + plus sucks

The reason I’m texting is I’ve called Vizio 20 times in the last two months ever since they came out with their new watch free plus update on my Vizio TV. I’ve lost a lot of local channels I get local channels from two different cities on the same channel and now I don’t, I have to turn off the Internet and factory reset the TV to get all the local channels that I was getting but if I turn the Internet on it automatically load smart watch and the TV goes to crap I need to control my TV via my Alexa because I’m disabled but I can’t with the stupid smart watch coming up all the time it doesn’t work it’s slow it doesn’t get all my local channels. I’ve talked to technicians at Vizio in South Dakota and they don’t know what they’re doing.

Didn't make it past 6 months

I purchased a VIZIO M-Series 5.1 Home Theater Sound Bar and it only lasted 6 months. I contacted both the vendor and Vizio and neither would offer any support. I paid over $200 for piece of scrap. Never buying vizio again!

My 55 inch TV lasted almost a year

My 55 inch TV lasted almost a year, I had it replaced by Vizio under warranty. The upgraded model they sent me lasted 10 months and I am out of warranty. Vizio TVs are junk, I will never buy one again.

DO NOT BUY TV

I bought a vizio tv for $700 in less than 1 year I had a problem with the backlight on the left side it was very dark but the right no problem, I contacted support, they replaced it with a new one, I have it same problem after 1 year. I contacted support again, he said they can't do anything for me. even if it's a serial problem, they don't want to hear anything. if you buy vizio prepare yourself to change it every year. Customer service also says that I find good back to school promotion 😡😅😀 DO NOT BUY VIZIO NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Vizio 42 inch smart TV is 15 months…

My Vizio 42 inch smart TV is 15 months old and the pixel screen has all of a sudden stopped working. We have tried fixing it with the help of YouTube videos and nothing worked. I will NEVER buy another Vizio tv ever. Very disappointed.

Garbage

Garbage. We didn't learn with our first Vizio and regrettably are learning for sure with our second one in 3 years Vizio is garbage. Staring yet again at "Smartcast is loading"the umpteeth time. We have just a few shows we enjoy when we can,huge disappointment we generally just give up with this nonsense and resist hitting it with a hammer. The first one is used as a puppy gate currently in a hallway so at least its useful on some level,just not for any entertainment.Tragic waste of time and money for us.

Not a 24”Vizeo tv for my kitchen

Not a 24”Vizeo tv for my kitchen. In pairing ATT remote could not get tv to stop losing HDMI1 connection. Spent hours on the phone with Vizeo. All technical help unable to help me. Googled problem and fixed it myself in 5 minutes.
Vizeo tech is totally useless as is Best Buy and ATT Uverse
