Walkers Windows Avis

They were on time, got on with the job quickly & finished the job in half the time quoted. Thanks to Mark & Steve

Awful customer service. Went into the Huddersfield showroom to get a quote, the salesman did not seem interested at all. We mentioned that we had looked at a couple of other showrooms to get some ideas for colours, the salesman said he wouldn’t waste his time giving us a quote if we wanted ‘cheap’. He was very patronising and condescending. The worst customer services skills I have ever seen.

I recently had my French doors replaced with a sliding door and I’m extremely happy with both the quality of the door and how quickly Walkers arranged everything.

I’ve had a few different members of their fitting team work at my property. Initially, I specifically requested the two fitters whose names seem to appear repeatedly in reviews. However, after having them fit my front door and then being repeatedly asked to leave a review afterwards, I began to understand why their names may feature so frequently.

By comparison, I’ve now had Phil, Stuart and Oscar fit my windows and doors on two separate occasions, and I genuinely cannot recommend these three highly enough. They have been exceptionally reliable, professional and careful in my home.

They did an amazing job fitting my new sliding door and previously fitted my windows to an equally high standard. What particularly impressed me was the care they took around my newly finished internal walls and décor, everything was left exactly as they found it, with no damage whatsoever.

If you have the opportunity to request your fitting team, I would highly recommend asking for Phil, Stuart and Oscar. Based on my own experience, they would absolutely be my first choice for any future work.

John & Donna were a great team. Explained everything clearly, were extremely accommodating with us and our dogs. Did a fantastic job with the windows and cleaned everything up. Very smooth process. Would highly recommend and all done for an excellent price from Walkers Windows.

Excellent service from John and Donna

After visiting a few double glazing showrooms, Walkers Windows at Ossett felt the most welcoming, clean and overall nicely laid out. The sales advisor simply asked what we were looking for and then he pointed us to the relevant area and left us to look around with a simple instruction of "if you need help or advise, I'll be over here in this area". It was refreshing not having a pushy sales person following us around.
We opted for Walkers Windows to install 2 new composite doors and arranged for a sales advisor to come visit and help us design and the give us a price for our doors.
The next visit was from the surveyor who confirmed the final design and took accurate measurements. An installation appointment was made there and then for 2 weeks later (we delayed it a few days for our convenience). Installation day was confirmed with a 2 hour time slot. The installer (Mark Ingham) turned up on the day fully explained what he would be doing and then cracked on with his work. He was courteous and professional throughout, with a very high standard of work. Once he completed the work, he fully explained to both me and my wife how the doors worked, emphasising not to lock ourselves out due to having slam lock style doors. He fully cleaned up both inside and out, leaving the property in the exact same condition as he found it.

Highly recommend Walkers Windows for all your home improvement needs, 5🌟 company.
Mark Ingham, 5🌟 installer

Professional, friendly and reliable from start to finish. The workmanship was excellent and everything was completed to a very high standard. John and Donna arrived on time, completed the installation to a high standard and with minimal disruption. Really pleased with the result and would definitely recommend.

Mark was my window fitter. He called before he arrived. Very polite and friendly. The window looks great. I was shown how the window opens and other features.

The guys were on time , professional and clean , the job they did was excellent very satisfied 👍👍

The installers were brilliant. Phil, Stuart and Oscar were professional and friendly. They arrived on time, put down dust sheets and cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't ask for more, would recommend.

A wonderful team of sales people and installers. Any questions I had they answered, including if I could put in a second appointment in case the first wasn’t possible a few days before it was supposed to happen.
Alan walked me and my partner through the window designs and payment options, he was friendly, professional and down to earth. Could have a good chat with him.
Mark and Steve were fast and efficient with installation of the windows. They too were friendly and professional we could chat and have a laugh with.

Mark & Steve have done an amazing job with our new windows and doors. They were lovely and friendly whilst remaining professional and were very respectful of our home. They turned up on time and left our house on both days very clean and tidy. Thank you for a great job.
