I had the pleasure today of shopping in the Wickes store in Ashby de la Zouch (LE65’ where I was attended by Katie and Lorna. Despite my requiring information about a product with which they were not familiar they did the necessary research and found something which met my requirements. At all times they were informative and above all, extremely pleasant. Wickes are fortunate to have such staff who will ensure customers will return

Very helpful staff
Although I couldn't pick up the items I went in for, I was served by Katie who was incredibly helpful and managed to source them for me. Very pleased with what would have been a disappointing outcome without her assistance.

Ensure items are stocked on the shelves
I couldn’t see where the item was on a shelf. A shop worker approached me so I asked where the item should be. He noted it was out of stock on the shelf but knew it was available in storage. Whilst the shop worker was really helpful in sourcing the item from storage, for other customers who don’t ask, will go elsewhere if the item is unavailable to view. I subsequently noted that the same item was available in Tesco’s for £1.00 cheaper (20%)!
The staff are always very helpful

New Kitchen
We booked in for a free kitchen design consultation and were so happy with the friendly, professional service and design presented by Jim, we happily ordered it without hesitation. Wickes Ashby De La Zouch is a great store with lots of kitchens to view and gave us everything we wanted. Thank you!

Friendly professional customer service and great value for money
I bought my kitchen from Wickes 16 years ago and have just had another brilliant experience buying replacement doors and a few different units to refresh my kitchen design. Jimmy Pang was so helpful with the new layout and design requirements that I was able to make decisions and have costs within minutes with complete faith that he had thought of everything I needed to consider.

Kitchen design
Jimmy pang was helpful and created a mock up of my kitchen very quickly, within the same day as visiting my house. He had good knowledge of the product range made it very easy to design and choose our kitchen.

Massive thank you to Jim in the design apartment. He was the most professional and helpful person out of the 3 different companies that i used to quote my new kitchen. Would highly recommended using him at wickes in Ashby.

A really good experience
I chose Wickes Ashby de la Zouch over 4 other kitchen design showrooms. Unlike the others I was not put under pressure on day 1 to buy today or it’ll go up in price at midnight and all that bunkum etc etc. The kitchen designer there, Jimmy Pang, sold me his design of my product choice with a sympathetic guidance. For instance, I wanted and island ( don’t we all?). He said it wouldn’t look right. Table and chairs was the way to go. Nevertheless he designed one and showed it in 3D. It didn’t look right. His many years of interior design experience showed itself. I was allocated Tom Mackenzie of Ibstock to install the refit. From the minute he arrived to survey the job, the guidance and confidence he gave me was invaluable. So much so we went on holiday and left him and his small team to get on with it. A beautiful end result.
