Wickes - Dorking Avis 

Big help from Craig to give me advised on buying paints for our shop. Many thanks for help!

The experience of using Wickes Dorking is always a good one. I hope that thanks are passed on to the staff.
When I walk through the entrance and get greeted by RYAN and asked straight away if I need help . The staff are getting to know I always need help lifting heavy items . Ryan was just told want I needed and he just did it for me .The staff all need praise for there assistance to customers

Dean was really helpful with placing an order for some fencing, many thanks Dean, the fence panels are great.
Checkout staff gave great advice, and the delivery person was very helpful indeed. Great staff.

I as a woman was sent to get a list of stuff for my patio
I came into the store and was help immediately and I asked for help and they called Dan for me
I needed 70 block paving bricks and 2 bags of sharp sand and 1 bag of cement!
So off Dan went and got me a trolly and then showed me to the bricks I needed and he proceeded to load the 70 bricks onto the trolly and also the 2 bags of sand and cement even putting a protective plastic on the bricks
He served me very promptly through the till and THEN proceeded to take me to my car and load it all into my car for me even though it was raining
I could not thank Dan enough as he I felt went above and beyond to help me out and I work in customer services and it’s lovely to get great service as I like to give

Our experience with Wickes (Dorking/March-May 25) for selecting a new kitchen was extremely positive. The showroom had a good range of styles to choose from and ultimately selecting our preferred options was facilitated by helpful staff in store. Wickes then visited to measure up and we concluded our order in store. We felt the cost (with discount/offers applied) was very competitive/reasonable and are very pleased with the finished product.

Also, the standout for us was the attention to detail and customer service/assistance provided by Domnic (not Dominic!) from his initial visit to measure up through to the conclusion of our installation. Throughout he was first class and deservedly warrants a special mention/namecheck. In a day and age where the quality of customer care seems to be sadly lacking it was a real breath of fresh air and reassurance to have Domnic assist us. Well done and a real credit to Wickes.

Well I came down today to get 6 x compost bags I had put 3 on trolley and this nice worker (didn't get his name but he has arthritis in his hips) put the other 3 on for me, then after paying Craig the cashier pushed my trolley out and put all 6 bags in my car boot for me smiling all the time. It is so very nice to see friendly smiling helpfulness in this day and age well done guys you really helped me today thank you so very much.

Click and collect service was brilliant order was ready within 30 minutes. Served immediately on arrival. Craig was friendly and courteous and helped take my items to my car. A fast and efficient service.

I did a click and collect of 10 bags of aggregate today and the experience was superb at Dorking today. The staff member on the till called a click and collect colleague Ryan very quickly and then helped me load into my car. I am very impressed. I was in the Crawley store earlier and the experience was not the same at all. Well done Wickes Dorking crew (& Ryan) I'll come out of my way to use you again.

I’ve made two visits to Wicks and on both occasions I needed to buy a substantial amount of sand, cement and ballast. I was served both times by Dan who was incredibly helpful and loaded all on to my trolley and into my car. He’s credit to Wicks in Dorking.

Had a really good experience this morning in Wickes. An employee by the name of Dan at the Dorking Store helped me to load up a trolly with fire resistant plasterboard and then load it in the van . Thanks

When I went into the store Craig directed me to the correct aisle for my purchase and then helped me take it to the car. He was helpful cheerful and very polite. Great shopping experience!

Craig served me today and on many other occasions at the Dorking branch. Myself and my husband have only had great and friendly service here. We can find most things that we need at this branch and very convenient for us.

We had the pleasure of working with Julie Barrett who helped to design a bespoke bathroom for our new home. Julie was attentive to detail, listened to all of our requirements and created a wonderful design that went beyond our expectations. She was also very patient with some changes we wanted to make during the design and purchase. And throughout she was professional and polite. We would highly recommend working with Julie and the Wickes team. We look forward to doing so again when we renovate our kitchen!

Wickes of Dorking installed a brand new kitchen in November and I have been extremely impressed. Dominic sat with me for an hour while we made the initial plans followed by a site visit and then a further consultation. After selecting all the materials and appliances Martin the installer made a site visit and then made a few amendments and recommendations. Wickes offered me a 3yr interest free loan which was very appealing. The installation went perfectly. I am very happy with my new kitchen and I can’t praise Dominic at Dorking and Martin the installer who were so attentive and professional. Highly recommended.
