Wickes - Hanger Lane Avis 

Just come to our attention when Chimney Cooker Hood appliance failed after 7 years that it was incorrectly installed, not as per installation manual instructions and assume this is what reduced the recommended lifespan of the appliance.

Our expensive kitchen will now be left with an unsightly damaged to the back above the Hob as the Cooker Hood has to be lowered, showing original fixture points.

So be aware the installers used by Wickes do not always know what they are doing.

And that girl or girls are Hadz and Seemz at Wickes.
Both Hadz and Seemz are not only professional and efficient, but are always very polite in coming forward to assist with queries and item location.

In last three months- I've been visiting the Hanger Lane Wickes branch and ordering multiple click & collects almost everyday for the ongoing projects. The entire team of ladies working at the front desk/checkout have been really friendly and special mention for HADZ, who consistently goes well above the call of duty to help me and the other customers. Their genuine helpfulness and sheer professionalism makes every visit a pleasant experience for me as a customer who often requires pro advice and reassurance!

Watch out on receiving delivery from Wickes. I only found out after delivery that a bag of kiln dried sand was wet with condensation inside the bag. On asking for replacement, the store claimed that I signed an acknowledgement on delivery that the sand was "clear and dry". This is untrue. I only signed a receipt of delivery of all the ordered items, but on specific items. Never has been this practice. Watch out: quality of items delivered are inconsistent -- sometimes very bad, and vary from one order to another order: including top soil, etc.
