Wickes - Swindon Avis 

Went into wickes today to grab some electrical supplies and set up a trade card spoke to Charlotte and Melinda who were more than helpful in quickly setting this up for me

The salesmen Tom was polite and attentive he obviously wanted to help.
The installation by “Red Dragon Home Improvements Ltd” was amazing the team completed all tasks required of them in a positive, professional and friendly manner, as a retired service engineer I know what’s required when working in a customer’s house, these guys aced the task.
Unfortunately when a problem with mixer tap was found the support from Wickes customer support was only lukewarm, he had to be prompted to suggest a solution that involved videoing the lack of hot water and sending this to Abacus as no spares are held Wickes and he didn’t know how the tap worked so could not diagnose the problem surely this could have dealt with by a telephone call?
The fault was confirmed as the tap by disconnecting the tap and watching the hot water pour out.

We're just completing a new kitchen and bathroom installation that was ordered through Wickes and installed by Red Dragon (a Wickes installer). The design process for each room was pretty simple and it was nice to be able to play around with different design options when in store to find something that fit our vision and budget.

We were then visited by Simon from Red Dragon who went through a lot of the more fine detail stuff with us, and was able to confirm that our installations would be completed within 2 months of us first making an enquiry, which was considerably quicker than anything other companies were able to offer.

Every single person involved with the installation was incredibly hard working, polite and pleasant to deal with. It's been a truly manic two weeks with installers, plumbers, electricians, painters and project managers visiting the house and working long hours, but every day they left everything tidy, were very respectful and explained the process as the projects took shape.

A few of our Wickes deliveries were late, which we chased through Simon/Red Dragon, and either him or Tracy would get back to us immediately and chase things up for us. Simon would also check in with us regularly to make sure everything was happening as expected and we didn't have any problems or questions.

Special mentions for Vlad who installed our kitchen, and Claudio who installed the bathroom. Easily two of the hardest working people we've had the pleasure of dealing with, and we would love to have either of them back for any future home improvement projects. Also to Alex, who supervised the installations and was super helpful answering our questions and a great problem solver when things weren't arriving on time. We would 100% use Red Dragon again.

I ordered a new kitchen from Wicks on the understanding it could be installed before Christmas. Red Dragon Home Improvements Ltd came to the rescue.
Simon got in Contact, communicated the whole way through. He has a fantastic team, Alex the project manager, Jamie the electrician, Max the plumber and Dylan the Gas man, this team were efficient, able to work through issues, we had a few, take all the stress away. Tracy dealt with any queries quickly. Most of all, I was super impressed with the Romanian couple who built my 16 piece kitchen in 4 days, they were so polite and humble. Overall experience was top and would recommend to anyone. Excellent service.

Although the wood cutting saw was broken, leaving me with cheers of board too long to get into my car both Melinda and Tony were very helpful in getting me a next day delivery to my house. Much appreciated.

Mr.James has designed our kitchen to our very high standards n MAB Installations has done a great job with his sub contractors, we are really happy n would like to say thanks for everyone who done their individual jobs.

The design service was good and gave us a good solution that did what we wanted in a difficult space.

The highlight of project was the service provided by the installers (Red Dragon Home Improvement Services) who did a good job, very quickly and everyone that we spoke to couldn't have been more helpful.

We had an appointment with Millie to consult and design our new kitchen. Millie is patient, helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. She took us gradually through the process and before we knew it, she had our kitchen designed. It’s been a really positive experience so far, with nothing being too much trouble. We can’t wait to see our new kitchen installed and we would definitely recommend Millie. Thank you.

We designed our dream kitchen with James in Swindon, he was excellent and took on board all our ideas. He wss thorough and understood our needs. He went above and beyond answering our concerns about installation and really put our minds at ease.

The Team at red dragon, SImon, dumitru,his wife , John the electrician and everyone else all did an amazing job .. a few little hiccups along the way but can't fault the service and workmanship.

I ordered what essentially is an expensive item over the counter, for home delivery. Charlotte in Swindon made the experience easy. DX delivered, and their driver gets top marks for contacting me and finding my house.

I was served today by a very polite and helpfull Charlotte in the Swindon store, who helped with an online paint order. I have shopped at Wickes for many years and always had great service. Good value.l would definitly reccomend.

Huge thank you to the Wickes Community programme, for your generous support to our school. The items donated will go towards our outdoor learning cabin, which will benefit the whole school community! The process was simple and communication with Millie was brilliant, who walked us through the process easily.

I recently used Wickes (Mark Mewett) in partnership with CGS Services to install two bathrooms in my home. The overall experience was very positive.

Timeframe: The work was completed within a good timeframe, which was important for us.
Professionalism: Both teams demonstrated a professional approach throughout the project, keeping communication clear and consistent.
Support: Although there were some issues with building suppliers during the process, Wickes were proactive and on hand to resolve these quickly, ensuring the project stayed on track.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service provided and would recommend Wickes and CGS Services for bathroom installations.

Charlotte was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed.

Excellent customer service from Millie when helping us design our kitchen, from start to finish she really made this a calm and exciting experience. She was very prepared for every meeting, helped when conflicted over making a decision and did what ever she could to work within the budget. This was such a great experience, would recommend Millie to anyone!

We asked Joe for advice on delivery costs and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. He guided us through the process of purchasing plasterboard and additional items required.

Thank you so much to the Swindon store and Wickes Community Programme for your wonderful donations of gardening equipment and resources to our charity. Children and young people will have the opportunity in the spring to help plant up our community garden and benefit from outdoor wellbeing sessions, to maintain and look after what they grow.
The application was an easy process and it was amazing to be able to choose suitable products ourselves. Thank you all once again; this support really means a lot.

Great experience having our kitchen designed at Wickes. James Crouch was our design consultant very easy to work with and a very likeable person. He did a home visit and was able to provide guidance and advice on the space we had, he was also able to provide advice in other areas ie flooring from his in depth knowledge and past experience.
