Wiperblades.co.uk Avis 

I ordered the wrong blades for my car.
The website said they were the right ones after I entered my Reg. When I got them they did not have fixings so the blades could not be held in positon.
I explained via their info email address that I had already purchased the correct wipers locally and I wanted to return the blades and receive a refund.

All I got was this in return.

Can you confirm you have received Lucas LWEB26 & LWEB18?

If yes, then these are correct for your vehicle however they do fit differently as they are different aethetically compared to your originals.

The principle is different in fairness, the trick is to forget about how the original blades attach as several of the aftermarket blades attach in different ways.

Prior to ordering I tried to obtain this wiper locally but was told I could only get it from a VW dealership for a more inflated price but ordering from wiper blades was a way better price and the item fitted perfectly, also very fast delivery.

I had initially bought some Bosch wipers from my local motor factors (GT Motor Factors). I didn’t feel the need to check since I’d given the shop my registration number. When I got home I found that I’d been given two of the same length and they were of different specification ie SP and Aero.
This was the fourth time I’d received incorrect parts so I turned to the internet and received the correct set, and quickly. Although a few quid more expensive I will use Wiperblades again just to save the hassle of having to return to the store to correct their mistake.
