In my line of business I often have recommended clients to use Wise Property Care but this time I used them for some work to my own property. From the initial call they were very helpful and set up a survey. The survey was carried out with a report being sent quickly detailing the findings and recommendations. A booking was made and Kev attended the property to carry out the treatment. It was a great service throughout and the work was carried out with care and precision and would highly recommend the company for such work.

Great service from Connor (who carried out the initial survey) through to Grant and Kevin (who carried out the work). It's the second time we've used this Company and we'd use them again.

I have paid for a survey and after visit of technician I am still waiting for report. Numerous attempt to contact them and promises, handouts nothing sorted since March. It's end of July.

After examining my property WPC told me a range of work was required at a cost of £13,000. I asked for a second opinion from a more local company with 30 years experience. They were very thorough and used cameras to view underfloor areas which WPC had not. The 'expert' second opinion' gave a very detailed report explaining all of the remedial work required and said it would cost £5-£6000. I certainly did not go ahead with WPC. I told them my reasons but they did not acknowledge my email.

Wise Property Care were wonderful to work with, all the way through from the initial survey, to the customer service during, to the work being completed. Connor repeatedly went above and beyond for the two of us to make sure we understood the issue and the work that would be done and Anna and Hamza were kind and helpful over the phone. Grant was the technician who carried out the service, and he was punctual, friendly, and proficient and could not have been more considerate when caring for our home.

The work caried out by Wise on my property at a cost of £30,000, showed absolutely no duty of care. The initial surveyor, whom I believe no longer works for the company was unsatisfactory and another surveyor had to be sent out. The organisation of the job showed disregard for best practice and no common sense. The operatives doing the rot work did not communicate with me during the work, which led to unresolved problems. Wise's initial response to my dissatisfaction was to advise me to contact Dispute Resolution Ombudsman, which in fact, they were not a member. They then directed all my communications to their own internal complaints department. The points made in many emails were not addressed satisfactorily at any time by Wise staff. My experience with Wise has been shocking. Treating dry rot is expensive. This is to be expected. What was not expected was the level of total disregard, at all levels, for Wise's responsibility to the paying customer.

Dry Rot Repair: really prompt repair and kept me upto date on daily basis on the progress of the repair and alterations to the original spec of the job. Kev and Jim were excellent as were the contracted plasterer who did a fantastic job. Whilst the work was invasive, owing to the nature of the repair, it was clear that the removal of material from walls was kept to a minimum.

Lance came to the property today and was polite, helpful and very professional. he did an incredible job of covering areas so there was no mess and painted the walls perfectly! What a star!

When I bought my property the seller gave me a letter of comfort from Wise Property advising that a damp patch on my flat wall was caused by salt contamination. Back in 2012 I paid them £12k for work on rising damp and was given a 20 year gaurantee. After the issue returned I called them out only for them to advise that the treatment they carried out was for dry rot as per drawings and a schedule that both Aileen and Karen told me repeatedly didn't exist. Unfortunately the 2 guys i dealt with have now retired.Not only have they charged me £195 for an inspection but they have offered to carry the works out at 3 times the price of a competitor. Avoid this company like the plague and they also have the wrong phone number for the Barrhead office on their website.Avoid..update for me to see the report that they claim doesn't exist they want to charge £60..still haven't heard back from them either 😑

WPC treated our home for active woodworm. They were very accommodating when we had to postpone the original date at short notice. Communications were quick and helpful.
On the day of the treatment everything was explained comprehensively. There was no mess or lingering smell, I wouldn't have known anyone was here! Very happy with this service and would use again.
I cannot remember his name sadly but the chap who did the treatment was great so I particularly wanted to mention him. Thank you!
