Woot Avis 

Due to COVID (our office being closed), we were not able us use or test the refurbished computer we purchased from Woot. When we got back in the office, we tried to start it and literally nothing happened. I did not ask for a refund, just a comparable replacement. Most companies are understanding during this pandemic, I guess Woot doesn't care. I will be sure to share my feels about Woot whenever I get a chance.

They do not provide refunds for items returned to them! This is unacceptable. I purchased an $847.99 Iphone, and returned it to them, nearly Two Weeks After they have Received it as per UPS delivery Tracking, A Refund has Not Been Issued!

I am extremely surprised they operate in this manner. Unethical Business Practices.

Aweful, bunch of squandars, liars, bunch of Thieves...

Stay away from this site ... don’t get tempted of 40% off or 60% off.. they will sell t broken and not working item and then after will make you to call Manufacturers...

To keep the matter simple and short. Buy stuff from Amazon with your eye closed but stay away from woot .. I know it’s kind of silly amazon owns woot right... lol that’s what these big monster company do, if a cheap stuff selling company bring a competition, they kill that company by buying it...

What an awful fraudulent company. I may have to sue them for Fraud, Mail Fraud, Misrepresentation of a product, and my inconvenience. My Attorney is ready! I ordered an iPhone SE 2020. What I received was outrageous! I received an old iPhone SE the one before even the 6. It was not even the right color, all the charging equipment was nothing from Apple. It was so old it had a hole port for headphones. My Wireless Carrier told me it was not a working phone. It was completely unable to use. No wonder they don’t have a Customer Service phone number! They underestimated me! Woot also tried to send me another phone. NOT! I’m refusing delivery. They will reimburse me. Or have a lawsuit filed against them, I also reported them to the FTC. Don’t use this subsidiary of Amazon. Anything you order from Amazon does not come from the original Company. Such as Apple. None of their Apple products come from Apple. My Attorney found this out for me. Disappointed; understatement, feel as victim of Fraud, like I said Woot underestimates me!

Woot has defrauded my girlfriend's credit card. She didn't order anything and they charged her 230 dollars. Stay away!

THE MOMENT U SEE WOOT.COM PLEASE CLOSE THE SITE ASAP AND CHANGE ALL UR PASSWORDS. I HAD AN UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION OF $900 USD OUT OF NOWHERE AFTER I VISITED THE SITE. LUCKILY I CALLED MY BANK TO REVERSE THE PAYMENT. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

First time using Woot and it was not a good experience. Item I ordered and played for (funds cleared through bank) is now sold out. Received an email that they miscounted and oops sorry. Poor customer service. Not using Woot again.

They sent me 2 wrong items. Kindle Fire instead of Kindle Paperwhite.

When I opened the box out of 90-days period of warranty and noticed that (it was purchased as a gift) they declined to solve that problem and help me in any way.

I never went on woot. com. And I looked at my bank account today they took 400 out of my account. So I had to call my bank and they declined it thank God and ended my credit card. And then when I contacted this company they told me they are part of Amazon to get ahold of Amazon. I did and Amazon does know anything about this company.. So it's a BIG SCAM... Watch you're bank account always.

woot.com is a bunch of thieves. the reason i say this is i got a call from my bank's fraud division saying woot.com helped themselves to over $600 of MY money and i didn't order a damn thing from them. i only checked out their website.

So much cheap stuff. I've bought tshirts, a hammock, bag of crap, and the list keeps growing. Now that they are part of Amazon, everything comes fast and I can't wait for the new Woot-off.

Worst experience ever. Woot is too cumbersome to use. Can't communicate with them yet they communicate with you. Will block & never use the account as cannot get it deleted.

Beware of this company... I ordered a kindle paperwhite, which arrived 'locked' and after contacting Amazon, the told me that it had been reported as stolen.

Their customer service was just shocking, and I ended up having to solve everything myself directly with Amazon, who were great. Buyer beware - they are selling stolen goods.

Woot.com is not the same Woot we grew to love during the startup heydays (go see Meh.com). Now they are a glorified clearance bin for Amazon.com. That being said you can find some decent prices on Amazon listed items. I often check here before ordering on Amazon and have saved some decent money doing so.

DO NOT PURCHASE REFURBISHED ELECTRONICS FROM WOOT

Purchased an "Apple iPhone 6+ (A1522), Scratch & Dent - (Verizon and GSM Unlocked)" on woot.com that was listed it's condition as "REFURBISHED." Received the phone and activated it on Verizon only to find that the phone's cellular data will NOT work whatsoever. We spent over 2 hours on the phone with Verizon Tech Support that could NOT get the cellular data to work. Tech sent me to the local Verizon store. Went the next day and two of the local store reps could not get data to work, even when they inserted their own SIM cards that worked fine on other iPhones. Total time we spent with Verizon techs was 3+ hours. Woot refused to replace the defective phone that NEVER worked and only offered that I return the phone, and that I would have to PAY for the shipping myself. Thus, I have to pay $26 with shipping & insurance to get a refund of the $267.49 I paid Woot for a non-functional iPhone they sold, that was defective when they sold it. Is this FRAUD? The "90 Day Woot Limited Warranty" is WORTHLESS and so is Woot.com.

The new deals they upload everyday are just amazing, most of the time the products are cheaper than any other online retail giant in US. Everyday I login to woot to checkout their new deals and most of the time end up buying the item. My last purchase was a Coca-Cola Vintage Radio which I bought for my grandfather, the vibrant red color instantly caught my eye and the price after comparison was as usual the cheapest. I received the item just yesterday, it's a pretty cool product for people of all age groups. It is loud enough to disturb your next door neighbors. The AUX input facility was just a bonus. A perfect gift item.

I started using Woot this year because the prices seem good. It was a mistake so I am going to stop using them. Better stick to EBay. Often they sent lesser items than what I paid for, or defective items, and when I complained with proofs, they undercompensated with a pitiful amount.
1. They sent lesser items that what I ordered, not once but 3 times. After showing proofs, they compensated me a lot less than what the replacements cost even at lowest market prices. E.g. I ordered new 1x Breeze with controller and 3 batteries bundle; 2x Yuneec Breeze with controller and 2 batteries bundle. All I received are 1xBreeze with controller and 2x Breeze. Missing 3 batteries and 2 controllers in total! Photos and Woot's own shipping labels clearly show their package shipping weight are for basic Breeze and too underweight for bundles. Woot insisted paying only $50 refund for these 5 missing items which would cost me 3 times that much paying the lowest prices on EBay. This is not the first time it happened either. Twice before Woot shipped a lesser product than what I paid and undercompensated me, even after I provided clear proofs.
2. Undercompensated for defective items: E.g. Bought Yunnec Typhoon H drone. Battery was dead and camera not working at all. They compensated $100. The battery alone would cost $100 to buy, the camera $300 second hand.

Woot charges $5 for shipping regardless of the item's size or weight. It then uses USPS parcel select (one of the slowest ways to ship things known to man) which can take up to 14 days. That's in addition to the 2-3 days wait while the item is "preparing for shipment."

It's hard to fathom how a company owned by Amazon (who has arguably the best shipping policies) can be sloppy.

I've ordered shirts from Woot a couple of times and each time they were good quality, nice print and constant sizes. Shipping and timing were never a problem as the times were accurate. I never had to deal with returns or customer service so I can't speak for that but my shopping experience has been great.

Just for clarification - all I've bought from Woot are shirts.
