YBS have good interest rates compared to other providers and I have been with them since 1996. My complaint is that they keep introducing new accounts with higher interest rates, especially for ISAs.... Voir plus

Rubbish customer service
I opened a 1 year ISA and strangely 3 months later they emailed me stating I could top up my 5 year ISA which I immediately refuted. They stated all they could do was close the 5 year and open a 1 year and the penalty would be a year's interest. The correspondence I received was addressed to a different person so I believe it was their mistake. All I asked was a bit of goodwill but I got that is the best we can do.
Update
I have already discussed this with your complaints person and got no satisfaction.

face to face professionalism
i was dealing with a professional face to face .the appointment was timely and i was expected. the customer service was above and beyond. Why do not more firms employ middle aged women especially those who always know how to deal with people?

Easy to get to the website
Easy to get to the website, I did need some help with it though, as I am a much older lady who isn’t very computer savvy. I do find, as much of my generation, I much prefer talking to a human being. Once the account was opened, I do like everything the app has to offer and am sure I will eventually merge in to the 21st century.
