A very smooth and stress free experience from booking onwards. Brother Azhar organised the visas, booked hotels of our choice and all the transport too. Brother Azhar was available for all my queries at any time which really helped as I was booking for my elderly parents. Azhar was very patient and arranged everything to their satisfaction. Having returned from umrah, I can safely say I will definitely be rebooking my trip with Zaitoon travel again. Uzair was extremely helpful and efficient when finding me good deals. Whilst I was away, he also checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The customer service is 10/10.

For the whole transport,hotel

After checking some details on their website I gave Zaitoon a call. I spoke with Azhar who was very patient and gave many options to pick from- hotels, airlines, cost. We made our choices and brother Azhar took care of the rest - bookings, visas, transfers and also answered any questions we had. Anytime I called all the staff were very helpful. They were available 24hrs even when we were in Saudi on our Umrah trip and checked up on us regularly. Alhamdulilah everything went to plan and Zaitoon ensured we only had our Ibadah to focus on.

I usually DIY my own travel packages, but for my first Umrah trip with my family, I wanted to rely on the knowledge of an Umrah travel agent. I searched extensively, reading reviews and testimonials, and settled on Zaitoon Travel.

Brother Azhar helped me greatly in all areas: advising on suitable accommodation (taking walking distance and quality into account), booking flights, organising all transfers (including to and from the airports, Makkah to Medinah, and tours in both cities), issuing the e-visa waivers, and providing general advice from his own travels to the area.

Please note - I did not take out a 'group package' with them in the traditional sense, ie, no spiritual guidance or lead was provided. They booked and organised the constituent parts of the entire trip.

For completeness, I'd like to mention three extremely minor issues, which demonstrate just how great the rest of the service was.

1) We were provided hotel vouchers, containing booking IDs and references, but these IDs were not the ones the hotel reception could accept. Thankfully, I downloaded the hotel's app beforehand, signed in with the email used for the booking, and that provided the hotel's own booking reference, which was accepted.

2) The e-visa waiver was issued only days before travel, which, being something outside of my direct control and vital to our Umrah, caused some anxiety. However, I understand last-minute visa issuance seems to be standard in the industry.

3) The tours organised by Zaitoon, offered by local contacts, varied in quality. Some drivers were very chatty and explained the significance of the sites we were visiting, some made no effort and simply asked us to read the tourist information laid out at each site. Others rushed us from site to site.

Overall, I would recommend Zaitoon Travel if you are booking Umrah for the first time and want travel guidance or want an agent to handle all matters for you.

Uzair has been fantastic support during the process of booking our Umrah. We reached out again yesterday to book the Bullet train service and he has been very efficient and supportive. Thank you brother Uzair.
