Zanussi Avis 

Washer dryer model Zanussi Z716WT83BI/OG ‘died’ with a loud bang - it was just 18 months old(!!) with weekly use for a couple - so certainly not over-used. It is not cost effective to repair so we will have to purchase a new one. Will not buy any Zanussi appliance again. Extremely disappointed.

Washing machine had water supply issue, problem was water pressure in the property. I wanted to ask them is there a minimum pressure for water supply to machine. I called them, had to listen to really, really, really irritating automated voice asking me various before saying it would connect me with a person. Then heard message, connection or something failed, please try later.
Called back straight away. More questioning, then machine then put through to what I believed was technical help. A woman who sounded like I had just woken her up answered! I asked my question and was told there is no one here who can answer it. I asked if she could transfer me to technical advice, again told there are no technicians here.
Total waste of time.
No wonder they have so many one star ratings.
Be warned.

So bad it's almost funny. I've had two washer dryers and they've both been terrible. They came with new builds. No one in the right mind would actually choose a Zanussi appliance. The latest one has gone completely dead after only a year's use.
When contacting Zanussi to book a repair nothing works. If you try booking online you get an error message. If you speak to the Chatbot it can't help you. The AI agent can't help you and fails to put you through to an agent. When you finally get in the queue you wait 15 mins and then a recorded message tells you to leave a message and cuts the call off.
Will I ever get it fixed?

6 month old dryer element gone. Shocking repair service then, taking nearly 4 weeks to repair. Avoid, avoid, avoid

I bought a Zanussi washing machine as part of my new kitchen from Wren in August 2018.
It cost about £500.00?

It has always been a bit noisy to be honest.
I live alone, there’s no children, animals or random washings of clothes covered in dirt or bad behaviours.

I am a reasonably responsible adult.

In the last couple of weeks, it sounded like someone had thrown a brick in it.

Got a handyman out who administered CPR. 😀

On 10/01/26 it deceased completely.

Last rites were administered and it is departing shortly.

I’m sure my neighbours did not like the sound of a train coming through their houses.

Honestly, dishwater is crap. Heating element broke within the first 2 years. We had it replaced by Zanussi and it’s broken again. We’re going to get a new machine from a better company (our building developer forced this brand upon us). If you have a choice, get a better brand. We will be.

Like others shoddy product failed just out of the warranty. No assistance. Just ‘it’s out of warranty’. Never again Will my hard earned line their pockets.

Dryer never worked properly, bought in summer so not used dryer function for months then it only intermittently wormed. Never buy Zanuzzi again. Also bought fridge freezer and seal split within 16mts all purchased via Magnets Cardiff

We purchased a Zanussi microwave 14 months ago. The warranty is 12 months and the microwave oven now won’t turn on. It’s £400 brand new or £150’for a call out to get it looked at and fixed. We are very dissatisfied that a product like that can stop working after 14 months. New cars with thousands of parts can last years but a simple microwave doesn’t with Zanussi so it appears they make them so they don’t last for extra business. Shambles of a company.

Bought a ceramic topped cooker Absoloute rubbish!! Hob has such a variation! on low hardly does a thing! ovens are useless lot of hot air escapes. Only decent thing is the ability to clean the oven glass doors.

Bought a Zanussi oven. The oven door fell off and smashed after two years. I bought a replacement door from their company & was told the dood was compatible, & the door doesn't fit. Now waiting 2 weeks for an engineer after being g told they'll make contact within a week!!! Avoid... useless company 😑

Have had several Zanussi products, my last tumble dryer lasted just over 2 years before the control board failed due to bad solder joints, this is poor material choice and workmanship.
The integrated fridge/freezer I have stopped refrigerating after 18 months, now all my food has spoiled and it will take 5 days to get a Zanussi technician to check it, maybe longer.
Really the products are cheap for a reason, because they are low quality and unreliable.
Definately not up to the same standard as Zanussi products 20 years ago.

As other reveiwers have said, 1 star for Zanussi is way too high. My real score? MINUS ZERO. I have been in correspondance with Zanussi for 14 months now concerning damage caused by one of their incompetent engineers. After 14 months of painful negotiation, endless unanswered emails, repeated interrogation, feigned ignorance from Zanussi of the case and so on, I was finally offered £65 compensation for my inconvenience which was woefully inadequate, but I reluctantly accepted that figure as I was desperate by now for closure. And guess what? I told them I would accept that amount and gave my bank details....and then back to the typical endless Zanussi silence. I email, I telephone. Just more fobbing off. PLEASE avoid this company. They have no regard for their customers. None. ABYSMAL customer service. HORRENDOUS. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Absolutely appalling company, bought a pyrolitic oven as part of a wren kitchen, 2 yrs later its rotten, actual hole in back plate of the oven, called customer service and they don’t want to know, said it’s down to wren, no wonder they do t deal with them anymore!! So now having to fork out for a new oven just before Christmas and it certainly won’t be a zanussi !!!!

Our built in microwave lasted all of 5 year of very light domestic use before dying. Why does everything you buy nowadays seemingly have built in obsolescence?

Service visit was arranged to repair gas oven. First engineer reported that there was no fault on the oven. Same evening the oven faulted. Another repair visit was requested but they decided to send a non-trained gas engineer to a gas cooker. I had to re-arrange visit and that was going to be another six days, I got fed up with the poor customer service and obtained a full refund.

I’d give 0 if possible. Review:
I bought this Zanussi oven through Wren Kitchens, and it was supplied with a hole in the back of the cavity. From the start, it couldn’t cook properly and was installed close to cupboards and electrics — a clear safety risk.

When Wren sent photographs to Zanussi/AEG, I was repeatedly told it was “cosmetic damage” and even accused of causing it with cleaning products. These conclusions were made from photographs alone, without a single in-person inspection.

When an engineer finally attended, he pushed a screwdriver straight through the hole and told me not to use the oven because it was unsafe. Even then, Zanussi and AEG continued to deny the existence of any defect, blaming the customer instead of taking responsibility.

This isn’t just poor service — it’s hypocrisy and gaslighting. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had on the telephone: being spoken to as though I was dishonest or delusional, while standing in front of a clearly unsafe product. My partner and the engineer both witnessed the same thing, yet Zanussi insisted it wasn’t real.

It’s like them saying, “we don’t want to fix it, so we’ve decided it doesn’t count.” That level of denial from a manufacturer is indefensible.

I understand that faults can occur — no brand is perfect. What matters is integrity in how they’re handled. In this case, there was none. I am now paying for an independent report at my own cost to prove what should have been obvious from day one.

This situation could easily have become dangerous, and had it done so, my home insurance could have been voided. A hole in the back of an oven next to cupboards and wiring is not “cosmetic.” It’s a serious manufacturing failure, and denying it is unforgivable.

The worst gas cooker I’ve had. Can’t light the hob. Then it goes out after 5 minutes. Same with the grill. Stupid safety feature to supposedly stop children cooking their dinner.

Bought a Zanussi combination microwave ZVENW6X1 with our Wren Kitchen 2023. Looks pretty good & matches our oven. That's the positive.
Controls feel basic & cheep. Instructions are poor. Has to be reset for every simple function. You have to switch power off & on to change clock settings!.Default micro setting is 600w & 4mins ( never used this once). Most infuriating is the Finished alarm which beeps Continuously until its switched off or opened!!!. Why? When it's completed your setting a single beep or bell is all that's required. I contacted Zanussi early after discovering this & they offered no solutions! & in general were very unhelpful!. NO MORE ZANUSSI FOR US

I had to get my washing machine repaired. They have "fixed price repair" scheme on their website . However, when it came to actual repairing, they said that the parts was no more available and I just lost a bulk of my money for getting repaired nothing.
