Tricks of the trade
The lens I sent in was fully working with no problems. They said the lens body was cracked and they could not offer a price. When I received the lens back, it was in a totally scrap condition. If they are doing these sort of tricks when sending items in, then I want nothing else to do with them. The comments I make are honest and truthful which is more than I can say about you. It seems odd to me that the other 2 lenses sent in with the cracked one were not damaged in transit. It must have been damaged after you received them. Also, regarding the 50mm lens I purchased from you as a P/X, I noticed traces of oil on the aperture blades which was not described on the sales information. I would suggest you look at your inspection department regarding the shoddy work being carried out.

Hi Colin,
I can understand that you're upset about your lens, but we assess items as we receive them. From our assessment notes I directly quote: "Plastic covering on the lens is cracked." If an item is damaged - then we can't accept it. We returned it to you in the condition it was delivered to us. Either it was previously damaged and escaped your attention, or it was damaged in transit to us.
I feel that I must object to your insinuation that we have employed some sort of trick or purposely damaged the lens. We go to great lengths to be as transparent as possible throughout the entire selling process. I hope that you reconsider your review.

Good but...
Good service and delivery. The item (a box camera) was in excellent condition but the viewfinders and lens took a lot of cleaning to make it usable (and reference to the web on how to get at them). The two rolls of film I ordered with the camera were cheap but use by date was June 23 so hope its been kept in the fridge - 1st roll has developed OK
