I got my new little girl kitten the large pink backpack and she absolutely loves it, she knows when I get it out we are going on an outing. It’s very well made and I feel super safe with her in it, customer service was amazing and it was delivered very quickly

I have the "Fat Cat" Backpack for my 13 lbs cat Maverick and it's purrfect for him! There's not many cat backpacks on the market big enough for cats over 10 lbs. but this one is. He's comfortable inside it, it retains it's shape, and it's easy to use. I've had mine for about 5 years now and it still looks almost brand new. I highly recommend this backpack for the larger kitties out there!

The plastic part on the backpack where the bubble attaches breaks incredibly easily. I barely turned it and it shattered off two pieces. That being said, I did email the company, and they are sending me a replacement free of charge. So that is awesome. Good customer service. Now I just worry though that the bubble will break WHILE my cat is in it. I might have to find a way to reinforce the attachment.

I bought almost all the harness designs and the fat cat travel backpack.
My cats loves all the product. My cat is a senior cat and fits size S and M. The straps on the harness are adjustable so you can easily change the fit. Love the quality and design. My cat is very comfortable on it. I sent them an email concerning the size and they answered me very quickly.

They also provide lots of resources and events on how to use and share experience, share each week profiles of traveling cats which help motivating you to keep on trying.

I also had great contact with them for products queries or exchange (because I chose a wrong size).

No problems encountered. Emails replied to timely. Took time to read before I purchased. Products were sized as stated on web. Still using a year later. I got backpack, harnesses and travel kitty litter box

We bought a Hawaiian shirt print harness for our cat Hiko and its working well. Got just what we ordered on time as expected.

We had never purchased a harness for our cat before, but we are so happy with our experience with Travel Cat! The size guide was spot on. We ordered a size S for our 7lb domestic medium hair cat and it fit him perfectly. It’s comfortable yet snug and easy to put on him. Plus, the Hawaiian print is so cute and unique! He’s always quite the conversation starter when we take him out in public. We will definitely be purchasing other prints in the future

Purchased the True Adventurer harness. The small is somehow too large for my 8 lb adult female cat, and the XS is too small, doesn't even fit around the chest, even though I measured her chest at 12 inches and went according to their sizing guide. An in-between size would've been great. But they also don't allow returns or exchanges, it's store credit only and you have to pay the shipping to even send it back. So now I've paid $4.95 shipping three times now and I don't even have a harness for my cat. I'm going to have to pay another $4 to send this XS size back and then receive store credit for what... since nothing fits my cat? Customer service was a joke, they don't care that you spend almost the cost of a harness in shipping ($17.90 just in shipping so far, and I still need to order a different style harness since I'm forced to use store credit, so tack on another $4.95 for that). And they won't give you your money back. Future customers, use Amazon instead. It's the same exact harness that's all over Amazon with different brand names, and at least you can return it there if it doesn't fit. Disappointed to say the least.

I cant speak for the quality of the product but i can speak about customer service. They do not offer refunds, only exchanges. I contacted them for fit questions and was assired the mini fatcat backpack would fit a 10-15 pound cat. My 11 pounder would have to be stuffed in it. When i contacted them, i was informed credit only. But i had a 10% off coupon the first time around. The day after i placed the second order (which i had to bc what was i going to do with the store credit?) it cost me $30 more than the credit AND i got a 10% off coupon measage, TWICE after the fact. Informed by customer service that they want to help. Told they’ll offer me a %10 credit on my next purchase (which will never happen because im done with them) and they cannot retroactively apply credit. IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS POSSIBLE? Also i went and looked for my review and like someone else mentioned they only post their 5 star reviews and not the bad ones. Do not deal with this company

Had the big cat backpack (>$200) that lasted for less than a year due to the seams coming apart. After emailing them back and forth they said it was b/c the cat was attached to the leash but this was not the case (my cats don't wear the leash when in their backpacks). I have another backpack (off amazon) that I have had for twice as long with the same cats and it has held up great! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Terrible product quality and they don't stand by their warranty.

They hide negative reviews

They use a service called Judge.me where I can see that my review SHOULD have gone through.

Even after emailing with them back and forth with them saying "we'll do our best to make things right!", they continued to hide it.

Ordered a back ordered 150$ backpack. Waited 3 months to get it. Well fedex delivered the backpack to the wrong house and I know because they took a pic of the wrong porch. Called fedex they said they can't do anything and to get ahold of the shipper to file a claim. Its been 3 weeks I've messaged them multiple times to get it resolved. There not answering me so I guess I'm screwed out of 150$ I wouldn't recommend anybody ordering from this place there a scam.

This is a horrible company. They advertise returns are accepted within 10 days but then you find out only for store credit. Well I already have bought what they sell and I do not like it. DO NOT BUT FORM THEM!!!!!

They never seem to answer any questions. I atleast wrote to them 4 times. Not even once i got a reply. The same backpacks are sold on aliexpress for 1/3 the price.

I purchased several cat harnesses after reading lots of reviews, but when they came and we tried them on it wasn't a good fit. I went to make a return and get my money back only to find out this company doesn't offer true returns, only store credit.

Not to mention I accidently ordered two sets of their cat beds. So now I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars of store credit that I don't know if I'll be using. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I'm so surprised to see the reviews saying they haven't had great customer service with the Travel Cat / Your Backpack Team because I have had truly nothing less than extraordinary experiences! They are always super quick to respond and so kind and helpful. My girls (@twintorties) absolutely adore their travel cat fat cat backpack. We take adventures in it all summer long and they play in it when we're staying in and hanging out at home. It's been such a great way to travel with them as well as bring them safely to any appointments or veterinarian visits we have. The quality is superb and we really really love it! Not only are we a huge fan of the backpack and the customer service, but Travel Cat often offers these incredible virtual "hang out" sessions where people who have adventure cats, have cats that aspire to be adventure cats, or even just people who like to talk to pet people in general, can attend. They're so much fun and we have learned SO much through attending these! Travel Cat by no means has to offer such events, as their products truly speak for themselves, but these have introduced us to so many new pet parent friends and have really brought us into a whole new cat community that we are so so grateful for! I HIGHLY recommend following Travel Cat on their socials if you aren't already, as this is such a great way to find out about these, and definitely recommend attending. Everyone is always soooo helpful and kind and it really has empowered me to be a better kitty mama! <3

We have been customers of Travel Cat backpacks for many years. Quite surprised to read all these negative reviews as we have had only positive interactions with the company.

We currently own a couple of Fat cat backpacks. They are a great size for our cats who are about 10lbs. There is plenty of room inside, with great ventilation. Our backpacks have traveled with us on hikes, boats, cars, canoes, floats etc. The quality is great as they have withstood some rough handling. As with any product, you need to be mindful or how you use it. The bubble is plastic so obviously if you hit it against something hard, it will crack... our bubble has some scratches from our many travels but is yet to see any major damage.

The company is great with exceptional customer service. They are kind, receptive and helpful.

We would highly recommend the fat cat backpack. It's is a very safe travel companion of your kitties.

I found Your Cat Backpack after seeing an ad from Jackson Galaxy. I knew he would never steer me wrong and I was right! I initially ordered the fat cat backpack and harness + retractable leash set. It was shipped promptly and I got an email when it shipped and when it was delivered. With training my cat came to love her outdoor time. Now we own a lot of Your Cat Backpack products like the travel litter box, travel food bowls, and the travel bed. We even have some of the other beds that my cats use daily. I've been very pleased with the customer service and anytime I've had a question they have answered quickly and helped me out! I also love that I am supporting a woman owned small business.
