I found out someone had opened up an account as me when I got a card in the mail. I called, and they said they don't require documents for their applications which is why someone could have done that without having proof of identity or address. That's insane for a regulated business.

I beg any other business owners to…
I beg any other business owners to avoid this bank at all costs! We were emailed on the 24th asking for a proof of ID and address. The email went to our spam. They locked down our account on the 1st October! No phone call or nothing! We’ve got staff needing paying and suppliers! We are now on the 9th and they’ve still not lifted the restrictions even though they’ve had the documents needed since the 2nd!! My business I’ve built is coming tumbling down around me and there is nothing they seem to be able to do. Absolutely ridiculous! We will be seeking legal action!

Shocking customer service who just lie through there teeth
Put a restriction on my account, no reason or explanation on why.
I have told them close account and sent them my new bank details for them to send my balance but yet still nothing
The customer service is very rude and just fob u off.
The company I work ls currently now gonna investigate them as I'm not the only company they have done this too.
Send my money now too my new account otherwise a law suit will be handed too Zempler bank

Anyway, the lady taking my call was professional, calm and empathetic. She did everything she could to help without a fuss. Impressively efficient.
