Fraudulent service.

$3000 later and they have not filed my case.

First off I’m still legally married, second started my uncontested divorce in June 2023, paid extra to have them file for me. Also sent them my filing fees for the court. Case was never filed. My account was deleted April 2024 found this out after contacting them via email and by the way that’s the only way you can contact this company. Last email they sent me was Aug 2024 “we are still waiting on our filing team on what happened to your case”. Thank goodness I have copies of all my paper work and how I paid. I am out of the “30 day refund” because they didn’t send me my divorce paper until Sept 2023 by the way. So I’m out over $700, still legally married, and can’t contact anyone about this issue. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. Just hire the lawyer! Now I have to go to my bank to see if I can file fraudulent charges against them to get my money back, so I can now hire a lawyer to get a divorce.

It difficult to reach staff for guidance so I can move forward with my divorce. Very stressful. The worse experience I ever had and I will never recommend or work with them again. Requesting a full refund do to the lack of assistance received.

After going through this process initially starting with 3Step Divorce, if I had to do it all over again I would choose to not utilize their services. What I did like is that the paperwork was done, filled in and all I had to do was print it out. But their lack of communication regarding what to do next, where you are in the process and obtaining information from them was horrible. I ultimately had to finish my divorce on my own after their initial filing in January of 2024 due to so many reasons. Divorce is not easy and neither is filing for one, although very possible to do on your own. Their lack of information and communication made my process much harder and much more expensive and I would never refer their service to anyone. The ability to go online whenever I needed to for additional documents was a plus, however not worth it. My divorce is now final after 8 months and doing it myself.

DO NOT use this service. They are only helpful until they get all your money and then you will never hear from them again. You will not be given a refund either because the moment you access the portal you forfeit your right to a refund and even then its only available for 30 days. I have been waiting 9 months to get my packets filed and have sent several emails with no response. There is no longer a customer support number because they deactivated it. They have numerous complaints filed against them with the Better Business Bureau due to their inability to communicate with their customers and live up to what they advertised. DO NOT trust this company with your divorce. It is a scam

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would! My daughter filed all the paperwork and paid all the money for her divorce to this company in 2022 & her divorce is still not done. She emails because they have no telephone contact info. And all she is being told is that "they are waiting for reponse from filing team" Horrible service! Going on almost 2 yrs waiting for her divorce!

As long as you and your ex aren't fighting over anything, why waste money

Thank you so much. What should have been a difficult and very expensive process turned out to be easier than expected. My ex husband and I downloaded everything on the Thursday and dropped everything in court on the Tuesday. It was easy, straight forward and really helpful emotionally to know that it was done. The money we avoided with lawyer is now in our kid's saving account for college. We did agree on everything so it helped as well.

It is good and easy, But no phone number to call and ask for questions and answers you may not understand.

Do not use this company. I provided all of my information and full payment. I emailed 3 times and got no response. You cannot talk to a real person for help.

Scam fraud they stole my money and they won’t refund me because they said I accessed a link I cancelled 2 days later and still no refund. I reported y’all to the FTC BBB and CFPB

Refund me you thieves !!!

Sent me the initial 'onboarding' email daily for weeks even after I had completed the packet. Even after I contacted customer service - it kept happening. Very frustrating.

I started working with them in June 2023 and my divorce is not done yet, it’s a simple divorce, all paperwork are done and signed, but can not get an update from them, I’ve sent multiple emails but no response. Stay away from this people,

I paid for 3StepDivorce assuming they would be able to answer any questions I have as I filled out the questions on their website (not legal advice, but questions such as "Where should I include this piece of information?" Their response time varied from a few days to several weeks and the only response I ever received from them was "kindly adhere to the filing instructions guidelines found on your portal." So I decided to do the Guide and File which is FREE on the Minnesota Judicial Branch website and that was a 1000x more helpful than 3StepDivorce. Their program was confusing to use with no help from customer support. 3StepDivorce was an absolute waste of money.

I was skeptical but figured it was worth a shot. Easy to use and every imaginable form was included. When I took the packet to the courthouse I had 2 clerks who had worked there-probably forever- QA the packet with painstaking detail and everything was there and correct. Divorce flew through without needing another trip to the courthouse. Short answer- well worth the money and the one time I had a question customer support was awesome

The documents were out of date

This company is horrible. I can vouch for the other reviewers comments. They are extremely slow to respond to emails, if they do it at all; they had a number to call previously, but the person you talk to is in some call center and has no idea about your case; they told us they filled our paperwork on March 11th, and as of May 30th, the paperwork has not been received in the courts here in Florida. Perhaps this company was better before, but it's been a horribly frustrasting time working with this company. You would be much better off going with another company. We paid for the serivice to get the paperwork, and have it filed. They have lost documents we sent them and we've had to get them renotarized.

I'm writing this review to warn you to stay away from this company.

I now see all of these bad reviews about this company. I wish I would have known this before paying them over $800. Once you could call and speak to a live person; however in the past 3 months, they have removed that ability and now you can only send emails with your questions. I have sent multiple emails to them for an update on my divorce process. They are slow at responding to email correspondence and this process with them has been incredibly frustrating. I still have yet to actually have my divorce processed and it's been 6months.

I could not have had a worse experince with this company.

It has been over a year since initially hiring this company to file my divorce. First, they sent my initial packet to a completely different state, not even close to my address. The customer service there is practically useless. Hardly ever responds to emails and I've had multiple multiple phone calls with their agents being outright rude and condescending for absolutely no reason. They sent mine and my spouses final packet to the court a month late, which the court sent back to me with an additional document that we needed to sign, absolutely insane to me that 3stepdivorce couldn't have included the court filing request in that packet. I sent that back to 3SD for whatever reason (they told me to) and recived it back from the court AGAIN because my check was out of date after having been sent across the country multiple times over the last two months.

Come to find out that the court here in Cleveland has a help desk that I could have gotten this all done at for free minus the court filing fee. So not only did I waste a year delaying my divorce, but I payed around $800 in total when I could have only paid around $150 for the filing fee.

The court help desk told me that this company is essentially a waste of money, and they've seen many people with the same story as me.

Do not, ever, use this company for your divorce. Don't be like me. Get a real lawyer to handle your divorce.
